What just happened, Makoto thought to himself. Is that really what happen for Punishment, the thought sent goose bumps through him. As he walked towards his room he wasn’t really paying attention so he bumped into someone

As Makoto opened his eyes he realized he wasn’t on the floor but in the arms of Byakuya his face went slightly pink, “I’m so sorry I wasn’t looking were I was going!!” He said just a little flustered, he wasn’t gonna lie when he first saw Byakuya Togami he had gotten a little crush on him.

That was pretty embarrassing, Makoto thought as he went into his room then he closed the door. It was already pretty late, then the announcement bell went off
“This is a school announcement it is officially 10pm which means it’s night time the dinning hall be closed soon and entering will be strictly prohibited, good night don’t let the bed bugs bite!”
The speaker blared out the usual announcement, but Makoto was already fast asleep

Makoto woke up in a cold sweat as he sat up panting there were tears on his face, was that dream really real, Sayaka wouldn’t she wouldn’t have framed her right…? But the truth was right in his face. He walked into his bathroom which was perfectly clean
Like every trace of Sayaka was erased from existence but the image was already in graved into his brain the knife in her stomach, her blood everywhere, the message it was all gone. He walked out of the bathroom and sat on his bed
I can’t be alone right now, he thought to himself
As he stood in front of Byakuya’s door he hesitated before knocking, to be honest Byakuya was the only one he thought that wouldn’t kill him right now (as in actually murder him) it was a couple minutes for before Makoto was gonna walk off but the door opened
“What could you possibly need right now” Byakuya said as he saw Makoto’s red face and wet eyes that was in front of him and his first thought was ‘holy shit he’s a pretty crier’ there were a couple of seconds of silence before he spoke again, “Why are you in front of my door crying” he said sounding slightly concerned but mostly annoyed
It was a couple seconds before Makoto said, “Nightmare..” he said slightly embarrassed. This is stupid why am I even here? Makoto thought to himself “You know what I’m sorry for waking you” he blurted out. And just as he was gonna walk away
He felt a warm hand on his cold wrist “If you’re gonna wake me up at 2am just because of a nightmare at least tell me what happened” Byakuya said still pretty sleepy “I-it’s fine really it was stupid” Makoto said back trying to hide his face
Since his face was flushed red and he was still crying. Then he felt a tug at his wrist “Just come in” He heard Byakuya say, So he did. He didn’t really get to see his room before this but it was just like his but cleaner looking some how.
Byakuya sat down on his bed “Why was I the first person you could possibly think of to come to” Byakuya said to Makoto who was standing in front of him. Makoto didn’t want to admit it but he was the person that he felt the most comfortable with some how.
“I-I just thought you wouldn’t murder me” Makoto mumble out barely, his face still red from crying , “And how do I know that you’re not trying to kill me now?” Makoto blinked, then responded “I don’t have anything on me?” How could Byakuya think he’s trying to kill him
“Why wouldn’t you kill me right now it would be a perfect opportunity it’s 2am no one would know because I’m assuming no one saw you because why would you be bawling your eyes out in front of my door with someone watching”
“Because..”
“Because what Naegi say it”
“BECAUSE I LIKE YOU I WOULD NEVER KILL YOU”
Did he really just say that..? He was horrified about what he just said, if his face wasn’t red now it was definitely now. He didn’t dare to look at Byakuya he kept his head down hands trembling slightly then he hear the sound of Byakuya standing up. Then he saw the shadow of a tall person in front of him
“What did you just say Naegi repeat it”
“…”
Byakuya put his hand on Makoto chin to pull it up to make him look at him
“Naegi do not make me repeat myself what did you say” Byakuya said staring intensely at the shorter one’s light brown eyes waiting for the answer “I-I said I like you” he admitted his face bright red and staring at the wall
There was 5 whole seconds of pure silence then Makoto felt something warm and soft on his lips, Makoto’s eyes went wide as The Byakuya Togami kissed him, Makoto shut his eyes, cupped his cheeks and melted into the kiss, it was a whole 10 seconds before Byakuya pulled back breathing barely different but Makoto still noticed
“Togami-“
“Byakuya, Call me Byakuya” he said still hold his chin and Makoto still cupping his face both of their red but Makoto’s face was way more noticeable then Byakuya’s “why’d you kiss me” Makoto asked praying this wasn’t all just a dream or a joke by Monokuma just to make him more crazy “Because Naegi, I like you too”
The truth was Naegi makes Byakuya feel…how would he put this. Safe. That’s how he makes him feel Safe like he can be around him and not have to keep but his guard fully on the other hand Makoto was freaking out his face red as a tomato and his mind was screaming at him to do something anything just to do something
So he did he pulled Byakuya’s collar down and kiss him again this time for longer, more gentle, and more loving. When they pulled away they both sat down on Byakuya’s bed, Makoto looked up at Byakuya “So what are we now?”
The question hung in the sir for a couple seconds before Byakuya spoke “My boyfriend” It wasn’t a statement it was a request “Okay” Makoto said before resting his head on the taller ones shoulder
“I love you Byakuya”
“…I love you too Makoto”
You and Byakuya grew closer
