Work Text:
Woeful, untimely,
did you have to die?
By that vile hand that
I swear I will get revenge on.
After all we have been through
sailing pass dangers, we survived.
Yet you had to be stupidly brave
heroic.
I thought we had more time, I wish we had more time ...
Your electric blue eyes, closed.
Your skin the colour of pure lightning
Powerful, but cold, Cold.
It was not time. why did you have to leave
a gaping hole in my heart
your absence on my conscience
and to go to the Underworld?
Your lips,
warm, comforting, loving,
that pale scar distinct,
now just a memory
I carry with me.
How I wish we could turn back time;
Us,
under the stars
on the roof,
Your face illuminated by moonlight
Now that same moonlight announces your death.
I could've done more.
I should've done more.
Yet I stood helpless in defending you,
fleeing as your blood trickles down to the ocean,
as your life stolen in protection of us.
