Redhead Constellation

Summary:

It was the final battle against the white star but, things went unexpectedly awry causing the death of the beloved redhead commander.

The God of death offered Cale a second chance in another world, a chance to "finally" be a slacker and for Cale to just watch incarnations and he accepted.

"On one condition"
"What is it?"
"Let the kids visit me four times a week"
"How about once a week?"
"...."
"Fine twice a week"
".. Alright"

Though Cale didn't expect the twist that the god of death had planned for him. He shouldn't of had trusted him.

[̲̅I] [̲̅j][̲̅u][̲̅s][̲̅t] [̲̅w][̲̅a][̲̅n][̲̅t][̲̅e][̲̅d] [̲̅t][̲̅o] [̲̅s][̲̅l][̲̅a][̲̅c][̲̅k]!

It's the final battle against the white star,it was unexpected for the revered silver shield hero to stab himself with a dagger in the heart and then stabbing the white star on the shoulder with said dagger.

The people watching through the screen above the temple thought that Cale missed but then they saw the white star start to disintegrate.

Victory, the people thought that their commander had won but something felt amiss as the white star smirked while saying something and ther Redhead commander looking shocked.

𝓣𝓮𝓶𝓹𝓵𝓮 𝓸𝓯 𝓭𝓮𝓼𝓹𝓪𝓲𝓻

Cale had just finished his last test and was on his way to the end of the temple where the statue of the God of despair was at.

The plan was simple, destroy the statue where the God of despair was sealed in while also permanently killing the white star.

Cale recalled the method that Drew Thames, Original Cale's biological mother, told him about in her diary.

'A reincarnators numerous annual rings will have a soul that's extremely strong thanks to the amount of life cycles that they have lived. '

'Magic, swords and ancient powers won't work in permanently killing them'

'In order to destroy the annual rings of a reincarnator you have to use the power of someone who has more annual rings with more years than the reincarnator'

The answer was the immortal world tree in which Cale went to meet to get a way on how to destroy the white stars annual rings.

'So you need a weapon with my power in it'

'If that really works then... '

The world tree gave Cale the tip of their oldest root, a sharp white and black dagger was in his hands now.

'The power will activate once you put the blood of your heart on it, don't worry you won't die, I guarantee it'

Cale sighed at the ridiculousness and reached the end of the long white hallway which there was a white door, the door didn't have any doorknobs so he just had to push it.

Screech

Cale remained tense as he scanned around the white room as the door made a loud bang at being opened harshly.

There was an altar and a wall behind the altar with hands reaching for the sky and a sculpture of a person standing above the hands.

They wore white clothes it also had a benevolent ruby red gaze and hair that seemed to flutter in the nonexistent wind in the temple.

The sculpture of the God of despair looked quite handsome.

It happened instantly, red light shot towards Cale before he could say something about the red jewel eyes.

He shouldn't have trusted the god of deaths words, he said that the sealed God couldn't use his powers outside of the illusion, however, this was his temple, his domain.

"Tsk whatever" Cale pulled out the golden plaque that he used to seal the white star in and threw it towards the red light "It's better to take care of you both at once"

The evil red light struck the golden plaque and let out a loud explosion causing it to crack and turn into dust.

Once it broke, the existence sealed inside would come out.

Cale clenched the root dagger as his lips curled up slightly.

Swooosh

The wind helped him run towards the explosion as the indestructible shield blocked any dust, he threw the red diary in the air causing it to open and let out a multitude of red leaves that resembled the color of Cale's hair appear around him.

He made eye contact with his annoying enemy that wore a white mask.

"Did you rest well?"

꧁☆꧂

Cale braces himself as he plunged the dagger deep into his chest the force causing him to wince in pain as he quickly pulled the dagger out causing blood to splurt everywhere but he couldn't worry about that as he used instant.

He reached the white star in an instant and plunged the strangely beating bloody dagger into the white stars shoulder.

At first the white star didn't feel much and thought that his enemy had missed but moments later he felt intense pain and fell down like a puppet without strings.

"You!" the white star could only stare at Cale as he felt his senses dulling, he laughed.

"How amusing" The white star smirked as his body started to slowly turn black as Cale started to realize what was happening.

He was going to dodge but the sealed God stopped his with multiple red orbs.

"Shit" a black light encased both of them.

Boooom

The temple shook violently as some dust fell from its sides but strangely it's didn't get destroyed.

"Ugh" Cale slowly and weakly stood up, he was luckily able to use the indestructible shield last minute however it broke causing Cale to get some of the damage from the explosion and from the shield breaking, the white star was no more but the sealed God was still there, their benevolent gaze seemed to be sneering at him as the statues eyes started to glow slightly .

Despite his body both being in the best of conditions and worst,Cale quickly took out the God of deaths holy item and used instant for the last time.

He was only able to get near the statue but not close enough to be able to embrace it.

Cale's body was a mess, he was covered in blood with wounds trying to slowly heal and traces of dead mana on his skin, slowly embedding itself into him.

Cale knew he didn't have much but he needed to seal that bastard, and as if responding to his wishes the God of deaths holy item quickly pulled Cale closer to the statue.

He realized what the God of death was trying to do 'you're finally helpful for once' and embraced the sealed God.

The statue struggled to free itself from being sealed and Cale was too drained to stop it but the book automatically sucked the sealed God in.

Cale opened the book and there it was the statue of the sealed God staring in terror at a black figure.

He closed the book and plopped down into the ground, exhaustion getting to him as he started to violently cough out blood and blobs of dead mana.

He had just noticed the state of his body and sighed, suddenly the door sprung open and his family came in, they quickly came to his side trying to help but potions or Mary's help were in vain, he was too far gone.

"Human don't you dare die!!"

"Cale-nim..."

"...."

His family watched as he slowly smiled with a bunch of empty bottles of potions surrounded him, his last words.

"Sorry I couldn't keep my promise Raon" Cale closed his eyes as his body went limp, Raon and the kittens cries were loud as they begged and hugged their guardian to not leave them.

꧁✪꧂

Cale opened his eyes with a groan and what greeted him was a familiar cieling and the faint scratching of a pen againts paper.

"𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐮𝐩 𝐦𝐲 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝" the familiar and annoying voice called out to him making cale groan once again but this time in annoyance.

"What am i doing here?" He sat up on the couch that he was previously laying on still in his bloodied commander uniform.

"𝐀𝐡𝐞𝐦, 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐦𝐲 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐝" the god of death dark eyes stared at cale with sadness his hand letting go of the infinite fountain pen.

Cale looked annoyed.

"I suppose you just brought me here to tell me that?" Cale crossed his arms and put his right leg on top of his other one quietly wincing at the slight sting that it brought.

"𝐍𝐨 𝐦𝐲 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐢 𝐮𝐡-" the god fidgeted round in nervousness as Cale stared piercingly for him to continue.

"𝐈 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞" The gods hands were moving all over the place presenting his nervousness in 4k for Cale to see.

"*sigh* whats the catch" Cale started to get suspicious, a second chance? With no catch? Very unlikely.

The god of death smiled as if he read cales thoughts and stopped fidgeting his hands.

"𝓣𝓱𝓮𝓻𝓮'𝓼 𝓸𝓷𝓵𝔂 𝓸𝓷𝓮, 𝔀𝓮𝓵𝓵 𝓽𝔀𝓸 𝓬𝓪𝓽𝓬𝓱𝓮𝓼" The God raised two fingers and Cale raised a brow in question.

"And they're..?"

"𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓯𝓲𝓻𝓼𝓽 𝓲𝓼 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝔀𝓸𝓷'𝓽 𝓫𝓮 𝓪𝓫𝓵𝓮 𝓽𝓸 𝓰𝓸 𝓫𝓪𝓬𝓴 𝓽𝓸 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝔀𝓸𝓻𝓵𝓭 𝓪𝓼 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓫𝓸𝓭𝔂 𝓲𝓼 𝓼𝓸 𝓫𝓪𝓭𝓵𝔂 𝓫𝓻𝓸𝓴𝓮𝓷 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓷𝓸𝓽𝓱𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓬𝓪𝓷 𝓫𝓻𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓫𝓪𝓬𝓴" Cale nodded, his body was contaminated by dead mana as well as shredded to pieces from using instant twice and from the indestructible shield breaking.

Come to think of it, why is there some dead mana still on him?

"Hey shitty God why is there still some dead mana on me?" The God of death blinked and Scruntized Cale for a bit before spotting the faint marks of dead mana.

"𝓐𝓱 𝓘 𝓭𝓲𝓭𝓷'𝓽 𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓵𝓲𝔃𝓮, 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓭𝓮𝓪𝓭 𝓶𝓪𝓷𝓪 𝓶𝓾𝓼𝓽'𝓿𝓮 𝓫𝓮𝓮𝓷 𝓽𝓸𝓸 𝓬𝓸𝓷𝓬𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓻𝓪𝓽𝓮𝓭 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓲𝓽 𝓽𝓪𝓲𝓷𝓽𝓮𝓭 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓼𝓸𝓾𝓵.." He started sweating, how could he not notice the dead mana on his beloved saint child??!

Cale tsked as he stared at his hands that were blackened by the tips and having root like tendrils reaching to his wrists, he probably had places like that on the other parts of his body.

".... 𝓦𝓮𝓵𝓵 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓼𝓮𝓬𝓸𝓷𝓭 𝓬𝓸𝓷𝓭𝓲𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷 𝓲𝓼 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓽-" everything started shaking and the books on the bookshelves fell down, the God of death quickly put a shield on Cale to prevent any books to fall on him.

"𝓘𝓽 𝓵𝓸𝓸𝓴𝓼 𝓵𝓲𝓴𝓮 𝔀𝓮 𝓭𝓸𝓷'𝓽 𝓱𝓪𝓿𝓮 𝓪 𝓵𝓸𝓽 𝓸𝓯 𝓽𝓲𝓶𝓮 𝓵𝓮𝓯𝓽" the God of death dispelled the shield on Cale once the shaking stopped.

"𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓼𝓮𝓬𝓸𝓷𝓭 𝓬𝓸𝓷𝓭𝓲𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷 𝓲𝓼 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝔀𝓲𝓵𝓵 𝓫𝓮𝓬𝓸𝓶𝓮 𝓪 𝓬𝓸𝓷𝓼𝓽𝓮𝓵𝓵𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷 𝓲𝓷 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓸𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓻 𝔀𝓸𝓻𝓵𝓭, 𝓘'𝓵𝓵 𝓰𝓲𝓿𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓪 𝓶𝓪𝓷𝓾𝓪𝓵 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓬𝓸𝓷𝓽𝓪𝓬𝓽 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓯𝓻𝓸𝓶 𝓽𝓲𝓶𝓮 𝓽𝓸 𝓽𝓲𝓶𝓮, 𝓸𝓱 𝓪𝓵𝓼𝓸 𝓘 𝔀𝓲𝓵𝓵 𝓰𝓲𝓿𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓲𝓷𝓯𝓲𝓷𝓲𝓽𝓮 𝓶𝓸𝓷𝓮𝔂 𝓼𝓸 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝔀𝓸𝓷'𝓽 𝓱𝓪𝓿𝓮 𝓽𝓸 𝔀𝓸𝓻𝓻𝔂 𝓪𝓫𝓸𝓾𝓽 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓽" The God of death then snapped his fingers and Cale started to get dizzy.

Cale soon blacked out and when he woke up, he found himself in an unfamiliar place.
