CHAPTER 1: NIGHTMARE
A curtain opens, revealing two bear animatronics in the center. One, a brown bear with blue eyes adorning a black top hat and bow tie. He smiles as he brings the mic to his lips, preparing to speak. The other bear was shorter and golden in color. His eyes were completely black as if he had none, but his pupils were white. Additionally, he also adorned a top hat and bow, but they were purple.
"Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, everyone!" The larger bear speaks into the mic.
Despite his obvious nervousness, the smaller bear gives a crooked smile to the crowd.
"Im Freddy Fazbear, and this is my brother Goldie! We're here to put on a fantastic performace for you, so sit back, grab a slice of pizza, and enjoy the show!" Freddy, the older bear, said.
Freddy's voice fades as he looks over at Goldie, the smaller bear. His eyes widen in disgust and shock as he backs away slowly, fear morphing his expression into one unrecognizable.
Goldie's mouth begins to fill with blood, spilling onto the floor and coating the room in red, and Goldie is in the center of it all. It creeps down the walls and drips from his eyes and mouth, drowning him.
"You deserve this."
Freddy's voice rings out loudly.
"How could you do that!? You monster!"
"IT'S ALL. YOUR. FAULT."
A loud metal door slams shut, followed by Goldie's pleads to let him out, which eventually fade to silence.
Goldie's eyes open as he jerks awake.
Goldie takes a few seconds to breath, his heart racing and his palms sweating. He sits up and puts a hand on his heart, his fingers gently grazing the large scar over his chest, a past wound Foxy gave him.
"Phew, it was all a dream..."
Sliding out of his makeshift bed, the golden bear looked at his paws, which were shaking ever so slightly. His white pupils were completely dilated, and he looked as if he might faint.
Looking over at a worn purple poster of himself in the wall, Goldie stood up and sighed.
"Hey, me... Still smiling brightly, huh?"
When the poster doesn't respond, Goldie sighs.
"Yup..."
Standing up straight, he smiles widely, putting a sparkle in his eyes and his hands on his hips confidently.
"Time for evil plan number two hundred and five!"
Suddenly grinning, Goldie opens a box. A set of wrenches and a couple of screwdrivers, screws, and other tools occupy it. He'd stolen it from Pirates cove the other day after maintenence was done on it. He takes them out one by one, thinking to himself as he does so.
"Which will be big enough- oh! I know! This one."
Goldie pulls out a large wrench, grinning to himself.
"Let's see how Fazzy likes seeing his spotlight dissapear."
Picking up a screw driver, Goldie walks over to a nearby vent and climbs inside, making his way through the vents until he's above the kitchen.
Being sneaky, he hops down and lands on the counter, but accidentally slips off and makes a loud CRASH!
"Ah, shoot... I'd better hide...!"
Scrambling to his feet, Goldies tail bumps one of the gas knobs on the oven, but he doesnt have time to turn it off before hearing the voice of a girl.
"What's going on in that kitchen? I swear, if it's Goldie I'll-"
Two figures walk in: Freddy, and a large yellow chicken named Chica. Goldie scrambles back into the vent, leaving the screwdriver behind on accident. Chica finds it and looks up at the vent suspiciously, her pink eyes squinting.
Fortunately for Goldie, Chica became distraced by the oven setting fire to a burger patty that was cooking, setting off the smoke alarm, which allowed him just enough time to slip back into the vents unnoticed.
"Great... Just what I needed. A half-baked evil plan. Whatever, I need to get that screwdriver back... But Chica surely took it!" He whispers to himself.
He looks around to see where the screwdriver might be.
Chica was cleaning up the burnt patty, while Freddy was asking about what had happened.
Grinning, Goldie gets an idea and teleports on top of a large cupboard behind a bag of flour and starts tipping it over, when Freddy's voice rings out, gruff and annoyed.
"I don't know what Goldie gets out of this. I mean, sure he likes the burgers, but they're disgusting and unhealthy"
Goldie pauses, his body going still once his name is mentioned by his brother.
Chica's voice interrupts him. "I dunno what to tell you, boss. He was strictly told not to come in here. He's not allowed in the kitchen after almost burning it down last time."
Chica's annoyance was clear.
Freddy sighed, crossing his arms.
"Yeah. When I find him I'll make sure he apologizes."
Goldie's eye twitches, and his teeth clench slightly.
Apologize? Apologize for what?
His claws dig into the bag of flour. Goldie glares daggers at Freddy as he exits the kitchen.
You didn't apologize when you left me in the backroom for 10 years-
The door slams shut with a loud clang, startling Goldie. He faintly hears Freddy's voice, however it's the one from the dream.
How could you do that!?
Suddenly, the bag tears between his claws, sliding off the cupboard and onto the floor. The flour spilled everywhere and coated chica in a thick layer of white, surprising her and causing her to let out a loud yelp.
Goldie's eyes widen, but not before realizing this was the perfect distraction he needed. Teleporting over to the counter while Chica was freaking out, he grabs the screwdriver and hastily teleports back into the vent, shutting it before crawling through it until he's above the stage area undetected.
Opening the vent and leaning his upper body out, Goldie uses the wrench to unscrew some of the mounting bolts on the stage light. By the third one, the lights flickered from blue, to green, then yellow, then suddenly began flashing red.
Goldies eyes widen in surprise, not having expected the lights to do this.
Bonnie, who was tuning his guitar, looks up at the light, noticing, and quickly backing away from the stage once he notices the light is swinging dangerously.
"W-What the- Goldie!?"
The lights bathed the entire stage in red, and Goldie was stunned in fear, the flashing lights bringing him back to the dream. The light covered his vision, reminding him.
It was an accident!
No it wasn't. You're a monster!
The stage light creaks and tilts, but Goldie rushes to grab it before it can fall. He didn't account for his weight to drag it down further.
Freddy, having heard the commotion, had ran over and looked at Bonnie.
"Bonnie! What's going on?"
His voice was muffled in Goldie's ears.
"Goldies messing with the lights!" Bonnie says, pointing towards goldie, but his voice is even more muffled than Freddy's.
You monster!
For a second he heard Freddys voice, but it was all in his head. He was too overwhelmed to realize his grip had loosened.
It's all. YOUR. FAULT!
All of a sudden, Goldie was on the floor, covered in glass and broken metal.
Before he could even process it, he was being pulled out of the mess by a pair of large, brown paws.
"Goldie, are you trying to kill yourself!? What were you thinking!?" Freddy shouted, his blue eyes full of worry and anger.
Goldie doesn't look at him. He doesn't hear Freddy's words.
He doesn't care. He's probably just mad I ruined his stage and is going to scold me again.
Goldie glances at the rest of the room, but is met with Freddy's eyes instead.
"Are you a lunatic!? Snap out of it!"
Goldie's eyes focus slightly.
"...What?"
Freddy groans in frustration.
"Did you get brain damage?? What happened?? Are you okay??"
Goldie was confused by the last question.
What? You dont care, you..
Suddenly, everything went black.
