Work Text:
"Elliot! Elliot!"
The Robloxian snaps his head toward his coworker, Lulu.
"Mhm?" He mumbles, eyes focused on the dough he's rolling.
"You look tired. Ah, sorry, not what I'm here for. They're gonna throw a party tomorrow, wanna come?"
In all honesty, Elliot does not feel like going today. But, hey, maybe he will tomorrow!
"Uh..." he manages, voice low. "Sure. I can make it."
"Sweet! I'll let the others know." Lulu says, very happily.
Is it only him, or does everything and everyone seem annoying and frustrating today?
Usually he likes all of his coworkers, laughs with them, speaks to them. But today something's just... Off.
Maybe it was that unreasonably heated argument with his dad over the way Elliot had been acting recently.
Maybe it was that he hasn't slept much lately.
Maybe it was because he had to work so many stations every shift and he was getting sick of it.
Maybe all that stress was always there, slowly bubbling to the surface, only hitting him now.
...
He's got another three hours on his shift, he'll work on that later.
Well, those three hours pass by. Awfully slowly. Annoyed and tired from trying to hold tears in his eyes, he hops in his car.
Instead of heading home, he sobs. Hard. He can't pinpoint a reason.
It's getting hard for him to breathe properly. It's getting hard for him to think. It's getting hard for him to think anything positive.
It's not right.
He tries his best to gather himself together so he can drive home.
Maybe tomorrow he'll feel better.
Hopefully.
Unlikely, but hopefully.
...
"Hey, lucky. Got a question for ya."
Elliot, still tired and miserable, gets on the phone with his lover, Chance. They're his favourite person in the world, the one who's been there every time he's seeked them.
This time it's weird. He doesn't want to talk about his feelings. He's even confused right now. What even caused this?
"W'sup?" Chance says without skipping a beat.
The gambler seems, as of lately, a bit more obsessed with being around his boyfriend. That's why Elliot hasn't been acting the same recently.
The question of what Chance might want to do with him.
The fantasy of doing something with them.
Oh.
"Elli?"
The pizza worker snaps out of it. "Whuh?"
"You... Had a question for me?" Chance says, awkwardly laughing.
"Right. Yeah. Uh... My coworkers are throwing a party, I was wondering if maybe you wanted to be my plus-one?"
"Holy shit, is that even a question? Hell yeah!" The gambler exclaims through the phone.
Elliot laughs. Short, quiet, yet real. Chance is always so smooth, so funny, so kind, so loving.
So lovable.
So...
Snap out of it, Elliot.
"Sweet."
"Kinda like you, babe." Chance states. Elliot has heard that pet-name many times before, but it still makes him blush.
He's so sensitive when it comes to Chance. The only person that could cheer them up unnaturally quickly in any circumstance.
They're just...
So.
Fucking.
Hot.
C'mon, it's not that big a deal.
"Seeya there, then."
Elliot says, attempting to conceal his voice shaking.
He knows damn well he failed, Chance knows him way too well.
So he hangs up on him without another word.
It may be rude, but his feelings seem a little too private for anybody to see.
And who wants their partner to see them so vulnerable, so broken, so sensitive?
...
Chance, holding onto his boyfriends hand, knocks on the door.
Elliot only smiles when somebody is looking. A fake smile for him isn't hard, he does it every shift. Getting pissed off at work is pretty easy.
The door swings open to one of Elliots coworkers, who gestures for the two to enter.
Elliot isn't feeling like being here. He knows that any second his smile will crack.
But he needs to push through.
He can do this. Surely he can do this.
After only twenty minutes, which somehow felt like an eternity, he excuses himself to the bathroom, which, thank Telamon, is empty.
He steps inside, shuts the door and immediately collapses down the middle of the floor. Fuck.
Elliot just silently prays in his own head that nobody will hear him outside.
He'll go back out.
Eventually.
He throws his orange star-shaped sunglasses to the floor as his sobs and hyperventilating get louder and louder. The noise outside is too much, these feelings are too much. He almost doesn't notice the knock on the door.
"Uh... Elli?"
Shit.
"G-go away." Elliot manages to shout out.
"Babe, you've... You've been in there way too long. You've been quiet today. You look more like you're about to take an order instead of genuinely happy. I'm just worried. The person we were speaking to left a little after you did; they probably assumed you were doing fine."
Silence from the two of them. The air stills. Elliot doesn't want anybody to see him like this.
Not now, not ever.
"Elli..? Can I come in?" Chance says, in that warm and comforting tone of voice that always makes Elliot cave in.
"O-okay..." Elliot stifles, biting back his sobs.
The bathroom door creaks open as they step inside carefully, before shutting it in the same manner and locking it. The second he spots his boyfriend, facing the door, down on his knees in the middle of the floor and hunched over as if he was about to puke, struggling to speak, their eyes widen.
They drop to their knees almost as fast as Elliot did when he first made it in here.
At first, Chance struggles to find the words. Sure, he's seen Elliot cry. He's held him in his arms for up to an hour before. He'd stay the night with Elliot to help him fall asleep afterwards. They'd always apologize for his sadness though they never needed to.
But, Elliot, hunched over on the floor, sobbing like his entire world was about to end?
Never once.
"Whuh... What happened?! I'm so sorry, Eli, I'll do anything to make you feel better. Oh Telamon, um... C'mere."
Chance holds his arms out for his boyfriend to fall into.
Elliot looks up, eyes puffy and red, sniffling. Accepting the embrace, he collapses into Chances arms and sobs into his white vest.
"It'll be alright. It'll be alright. I'm here." Chance whispers, attempting to comfort him.
Chance and Elliot had changed positions at some point so that Chance was still sitting on the ground, their back against a wall, as Elliot is lying on them.
"I, uhh..." Elliot begins, trying to gather himself and speak coherent sentences instead of random words throughout his sobs.
"Thanks." He sniffles, taking the moment to look up at his partner with his red, puffy eyes. He almost immediately notices Chances own tears, as if seeing his boyfriend sob made him sad as well.
"Anytime, Elli." Chance says with a smile, placing a gentle kiss on Elliots head.
Elliot almost wants to search for more.
Hey, they've been together five months. They know close to everything about each other. Elliot can ask for this, can't he?
"Um..." Elliot starts out nervously. "D'you think we could try, like... I dunno. We kiss a lot but we never really... Go farther with it."
"Is this your way of asking me to make out with you, Builder?" Chance says in that flirty, teasing, endearing way Elliot loves.
Elliot had no idea why he was so nervous a moment ago, but now that Chance took the hint, he feels a little more in power.
"Mhm."
"We're, like, in a random persons bathroom right now, though..."
"True..."
Chance hesitates, as if asking themself a question.
"Um... Yeah. Yeah, I will. Just... Y'know, random bathroom. Had to consider."
Elliot lights up. They look at eachother with expressions that would disprove the circumstances from only a minute ago.
The two change positions to face each other, Chance still sitting against the wall, waiting for Elliot to make the first move.
Surely Elliot's going to make the first move. It was his idea after all.
But, looking back, Chance might've wanted to ask him the same question very early on in their relationship.
Elliot, on his knees, snatches Chances red, star-shaped sunglasses off and tossing them aside before he leans forward and pushes himself onto Chance, locking their lips together. Chance cups Elliots face, feeling his hands on their thighs.
It's all the same, it's all familiar; until Chance feels Elliots tongue run along his bottom lip.
It makes them shudder. It's as though their skin is crawling in the way that makes them hungry for more.
His mouth almost immediately falls open, accepting it.
Elliot smiles against Chances mouth and makes a small hum out of satisfaction.
That all changes, though, as he feels Chances tongue tie around his own.
Elliot and Chance both squeeze their eyes shut tightly, Concentrating on each other. It's if the only thing in the world that matters is the two of them, as if they're not just hiding in a random coworkers bathroom.
Elliot grips onto Chances shoulders, tightly.
It hurts them, in a way that feels... Good.
Chance moves his hands to the back of Elliots neck, trying to hold him closer. Elliot, who very clearly took the hint, pushes closer, holding Chance by their face as he practically climbs onto them. Chance brings his knees up, forcing Elliot to stay this close.
Elliot was never going to protest to that move.
Elliot, without breaking the kiss, quickly moves his hands down to Chances white vest and begins to unbutton it.
Chances breath hitches as he lets Elliot slip it off throws it somewhere to the side, he doesn't give a shit where.
Chance, in love with the feeling, moves his hands to unbutton Elliots top, a red and orange button-up with yellow triangles on it. The glow from the huge yellow star on the back of it shimmers and leaves a small trail as Chance chucks it across the room, leaving only Elliots black undershirt.
After a moment, Elliot snatches Chances red sparkle-time fedora and tosses it away like a Frisbee, clockwork headphones slipping off with it.
Chance does the same, stealing Elliots visor with glowing valkerie wings and tossing it lazily on the floor.
Maybe a bad idea since they're limiteds, but who cares, they can just clean them off later.
Their hands return to their original spots for a little while, lips fitting together like in a completed jigsaw puzzle, tongues wrapping around each other so yearningly that the two could consider their kissing a contest.
Chance slips down the wall until he feels his head hit the bathroom floor.
Gross, but hey, Elliot's lying on top of them, tying his tongue around theirs, kissing them as if it's the only thing he'd ever wanted to do his entire life. That more than makes up for it.
It only makes the gambler wonder exactly how long he'd been holding back for.
Elliot definitely didn't expect this position change either, and certainly didn't initiate it. It's like it came on it's own; like it was destined to happen. Chance being pinned to the floor like this felt natural in a way.
Elliot squeezes Chances waist, which makes them whimper. He had no idea how much he wanted to hear that.
So he does it again.
A few times, actually, as if he's addicted to the sound.
The feeling causes Chances grip on Elliots neck to loosen in a moment of weakness, almost completely submitting himself, before his grip tightens once more, deciding that if Elliot wants them to submit like that, he'll have to work harder and longer for it.
Additionally, though, he's struggling. On one hand, every whimper or moan he's made during this has become louder each time, and he doesn't want to get caught.
On the other hand, he fucking loves this.
Chance and Elliot are almost in a daze; forgetting about everything around them and the fact they threw each others clothes off just moments ago.
How long has it even been? That doesn't matter, does it?
Chances grip falters, slowly running down Elliots body, which makes Elliot himself whine.
Elliot assumes it's just a little payback for making Chance moan over and over again for him, which he fully accepts.
That's when Elliot feels Chance grips tightly onto his belt, jolting him forward, making Elliot break off for a moment, just barely, and moans Chances name.
The two's eyes open wide, their visions blurry. The surprise makes Elliot smack his own hand against his mouth.
Chance is just frozen at the stunlock that was hearing Elliot moan his name.
The things he would give to hear that one more time.
Instead, he moves away the hand against Elliots mouth and plaes it next to his own head.
The couples smiles at eachother, tired, breathing heavy.
Chance leans up to meet Elliot, almost immediately slipping their tongues back into each other's mouths again, yearningly, hungrily, and violently.
Chance unbuckles Elliots star-covered belt and reaches down to pull it off, making Elliot gasp again.
But before Chance can even get it off, they get rudely interrupted by a surprisingly loud knock on the bathroom door.
They break apart again, still close, warm and heavy breaths washing over each other. A string of saliva connects their lips for just a moment before it breaks and falls down onto Chances chin.
"Holy shit." Elliot mutters, breathless.
"I know, right?" Chance says with a small chuckle, wiping his chin off.
Elliot pushes himself up as Chances knees fall down behind him. He looks around him to see all of the clothes and accessories they took off of each other.
As Chance sits up, still failing at catching his breath. He stands up to collect everything Elliot took off of him in the heat of the moment while Elliot fixes his belt, face flushed. Chance can't tell if it's just embarrassment or if they're somehow really good at this.
The knocking on the door gets more loud as Elliot and Chance get more frantic.
Elliot stands up with a sigh to collect his own things.
"So..." He begins to say, looking to his partner.
Gosh, they're such a mess.
Hair messy, clothes wrinkled, face flushed, breath heavy.
It's still hot to him, though. Especially because the mess was his own doing.
Chance looks at Elliot with love-ridden eyes. Elliot seems almost as messy as they do.
Elliot continues his sentence hesitantly. "Uh... You tried to take my belt off?"
Chance barely realized his own action. It was all so heated, so intense, so much, that he felt as though he was in a trance.
"Oh my Telamon. Elliot, I'm so sorry about that, I reached down there and you seemed to like it so I-"
"I would've let you."
Chances eyes widen. "Really?"
"Yeah. We should totally go farther sometime. Please. Oh my gosh, please."
Okay, so, first, Elliot was moaning for him, and second, he's here straight-up pleading for it.
There is no way that Chance is this good at making out.
"Y-yeah. I'd like that." They say in response.
The person who was once banging at the door and shouting seems to have given up by now.
"You alright to go out there?"
"Are you?"
"Oh, a hundred percent. That was like ten times better the amount of stuff you could've done to cheer me up."
"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah. I love you." Elliot says with an endearing smile.
"I love you too, Elli."
