Albedo sighed, contrary to what most people believed he hated school. There were bullies and homophobes. Which Albedo didn’t really like that term. Those people who were mean to him just because he was gay weren’t afraid of him, they just were mean people.
Albedo wrote his notes slowly, so that the teacher wouldn’t make him go to lunch. Where he would inevitably get bullied. Verbally or physically, behind his back or right to his face.
He was glad that he skipped a year, so that he would be able to get a job quicker to take care of his little sister, Klee. This was also his last year of high school, thank the archons.
He sighed and then looked up at the clock 5 minutes till lunch and he only had 6 minutes of notes left even if he was going at the same slow speed. Great
Albedo decided to just finish his notes as quickly as possible, so that he could try getting back to his next classroom after he finished eating as quickly as possible.
The bell rang and Albedo grabbed his things and rushed out of the classroom to the lunch line.

Kaeya was sitting with his friends chatting with them about the flings that they have had for the past few weeks.
Kaeya was a big time flirt. Known for getting with tons of girls and guys around the school. Even though most of the people here were homophobic, no one messed with Kaeya nor his flings. Cause they didn’t want what happened to the first homophobe that messed with Kaeya’s fling.
His friend, Tenny, looked at him and smirked. “You wanna make a bet.”
Kaeya grinned, “Of course. What is it?”
Tenny pointed his head towards the blond nerd who was in most of their classes, “I bet you can’t get with the gay nerd before winter break. Now, if you agree, you have to make it so that he goes to winter formal with you.”
Kaeya looked at the kid Tenny was talking about, he was cute, with blond hair tied up in a half up half down smile. Kaeya frowned, he looked like if he tried he could get a boyfriend.
Kaeya has also gotten with nerds before. “Whats so special about blondie?”
Tenny smiled, “I don’t know why but, Kile asked him out junior year and he said no. No one knows what happened after that but the kid, Albedo, started getting ruthlessly bullied. Apparently he won’t date anyone cause he’s too busy.”
Kaeya smiled, “What do I get if I am able to do it.”
“I’ll let you use my car for the rest of the school year. But if you lose, then you have to clean my car for 2 months.”
Kaeya nodded, “Sweet deal. Okay, be ready to hand over your keys.”
Tenny smirked, “Only if you can bag blondie. I suggest now before he runs off.”

Albedo sat in the back of the cafeteria trying to eat as fast as he could while not trying to choke on his food. He was tired, he wished he could just have a normal school life. Hell, even being ignored by everyone would be much better.
He heard the clatter of a lunch tray across from him. Albedo looked up from his food and saw Kaeya sitting there. Kaeya. The hot bluenet who was also a douche.
Albedo looked at Kaeya with an unamused expression, “What are you doing here?”
Kaeya gave a flirty smirk, “Just sitting, wanting to eat lunch.”
Albedo looked down again and kept on eating.
“You know you're pretty, you have nice long hair but not too long to look too feminine. And your eyes are pretty too.”
Albedo looked up and rolled his eyes, “Look. I know your game, you just want a fling. Leave me alone, okay. I just have no time for your games, and I am not going to get into a relationship just to have the person break up with me.”
Kaeya smirked and leaned across the table brushing his hair back with one finger. Kaeya whispered in his ear, “Who says I am looking for a fling?”
Albedo jumped back, “Because we have never talked before this moment, so you couldn’t have liked me enough to not just want a fling after years of flings.”
Albedo grabbed his trash, dropped its contents in the trash and walked away.
Kaeya stared at him as he walked away, damn he had a really nice ass. Maybe he could get some before winter break.

At the last class, Kaeay looked around the room and saw Albedo. He knew, from gathering information about Albedo during the later part of the day, that he walked home, so Kaeya would just walk home with him. Simple.
After the bell rang Kaeya got up and followed Albedo out of the classroom.
He wrapped his arm around Albedo, “Hey blondie.”
Albedo shrugged Kaeya’s arm off, “Don’t call me that and don’t touch me. Leave me alone, can you not understand English?”
Kaeya smiled, “My brain turns too mush when I’m around you honey.”
Albedo frowned and then walked faster.
“So..” Kaeya started. “Where are we going?”
Albedo stopped and turned to look at Kaeya, “Please stop. If you want a hook up you’re not going to get that from me.”
“I don’t just want that. I want to date you.”
Albedo rolled his eyes and kept on walking, “Fine, just leave me alone.”
Kaeya followed after Albedo. Now he could see why Tenny made that bet with him, this was going to be hard. Not impossible though.
Kaeya started actually paying attention to where they were walking and saw the elementary school in view. “You have a sibling?”
Albedo nodded with a small smile on his lips, clearly thinking about his younger sibling. At that moment Kaeya kind of wished that Albedo would smile like that at him.
