Chapter Text
It was a week after the meteor had almost hit earth. Everyone had began to buy into the rumours that Teruhashi had saved them all. After all, she is God's favourite.
As usual that day everyone was crowding around Teruhashi's desk asking if she'd actually saved them all. "No, no I didn't do anything it was a miracle when that meteor was suddenly deflected!" she said trying to get them to go away. "But God loves you of course he'd save us!"
Saiki watched all of this happen with pure amusement knowing it was in fact him who'd saved them all but of course they didn't need to know that. If he started blabbering around saying things like that they'd think he was Kaido part 2.
Hairo eventually stepped in and helped Teruhashi by saying "Leave Teruhashi alone you're overwhelming her!" Teruhashi couldn't help but look over at Saiki and wonder why he hadn't come over to fawn over her brilliance.
Saiki sighed listening to her thoughts. What would get her to leave him alone? Probably nothing at this point. Suddenly Teruhashi got up and walked over to his desk. "Saiki did you want to go the bakery later?" she had found out about his love of sweet treats from the last time they had went out together. He looked up at her "okay." He said sounding uninterested.
Later that day
After school they walked up to Saiki's favourite bakery. "I'll win him over soon" Teruhashi thought. As soon as they walked into the bakery people pointed at them and gawked like idiots at Teruhashi. "Ew what's that guy doing with her" they whispered. They sat down and got everything for free thanks to Teruhashi. "This is her only benefit" Saiki thought while eating his cake. Teruhashi thought about where to go to next."Do you wanna go shopping?" she asked. "Okay" he replied trying to be horribly boring.
After Saiki had seen what Teruhashi actually looked like he had felt a bit different towards her. He didn't know when he'd started thinking stupid cheesy things like that but it somehow felt nice? He'd never felt stuff like that towards anyone before. He decided to ignore it for now but he couldn't help wonder what it'd be like to kiss her? Ew no what was he thinking! He pushed those thoughts to the back of his mind.
Teruhashi gazed into his eyes he had his usual absent look on his face she'd somehow fallen for. She started accepting her feelings towards him. He's a very tough shell to crack which she'd only just began chipping at. The only thing she properly knew about him was his love for deserts. Maybe that would be the thing that'd make him fall for her? Seriously what was she thinking there must be something else he likes more it can't just be cake and coffee jelly!
