January 26 , 2026

Smell of smoke and stale beer filled the bar Jacques was in. He was starting to feel dizzy. Yet, he still didn't want to leave, at least not yet.

He heard the door open, hearing familiar footsteps come in.

“Jeffrey!”

Jacques flinches at that. Jesus Christ, what was he doing here? Why'd he come here now?? I mean, dont get him wrong, it would be reasonable if this bar was like.. Popular. but its not like the bar he was at is. How did the bartender even know his name?

oh, right.

God, y'know — sometimes he forgets him and Jeffrey are famous celebrities.

He heard those familiar footsteps coming near him, to where he was sitting. Hearing the feet of the stool scrape against the hard wooden floor, making an ear piercing sound.

He heard the latters voice order something, not sober enough to even care enough about it.

A couple of hours and drinks later, and the silence between the two men starts to become uncomfortable. Or, at least to Jeffrey, Jacques was too drunk to even care about — well, anything.

“Uhm.. So, how's your day been going?”

“It- it's been fine, I guess. How about yours?”

“I guess? What does that mean??” The latter questions him.“What do you mean I guess???”

The former hums at that.“Well, I mean — It was pretty great before you came in.”

Jeffrey gasps at that, putting a hand on his chest. Not being able to tell if he was being for real, or just joking with him. He punched him lightly.

“How dare you! This is why our relationship never lasted!!” Jeffrey pouts angrily, the shorter giggles at that, at how childish the the taller one acts when he's drunk.

“For someone so ‘tough’, you're really childish. y'know that, right?” He comments jokingly, to which the latter takes seriously.

Jeffrey just scoffs and groans at that, crossing his arms and turning away from him, clearly angry at him. wether he was serious was something Jacques didn't know. Jacques looks at him, not knowing what else to say, although, Jacques didn't want their conversation to end. At least not yet.

“Hows your relationship with Mariah, Jeffrey?” He questions somewhat awkwardly.

Jeffrey hiccups, my relationship with Mariah?? I— Ugh, this idiots about to make fun of my proposal, isn't he!!

The former pouts, turning away from Jacques. “ Why would I tell you?”

“Because, why wouldn't you? You tell people everything.” Jeffrey groans at that, god he was right. He does tell anyone everything and anything.

“Okay, fine. It's going perfect, there? Happy??” Jacques smirks at him in return, why's he acting like this dude???

Jeffrey turns back, wondering on why he isn't saying anything. “I- hey, Jacques, are you okay?”

The formers confused, why wouldn't he think he's okay??? sure, he may be drunk, but thats not the type of “okay” he's asking about. Even if he was, so what?? He was also drunk!!

Jacques hums, “Y- yeah. Why wouldn't I be okay?”

“Well,” Jeffrey wonders if he should say this, he might laugh at him. Ehhh— might as well take the chances, it's not like he'll remember this in the morning.

“Well you're the first person who hasn't laughed at me over my proposal and— stuff..”

Jacques chuckles at that, what a dumb thought, the former thought to himself. “Jefferey, stop. Dude, c'mon man, that's so fucking dumb dude!” he laughed stupidly.

Hearing the former laugh made the latter smile, a little bit. He should be angry right now, being dramatic, doing something like that, but he wasn't, instead he was just enjoying the sound of Jacques laughter. God, thats such a gay thought!!

“Whatever, man.” The latter punches him on the shoulder.

Walking out of the bar was the hardest part of this. To Jacques, the only reason was because he was mad drunk and could barely walk right now, but to Jeffrey, there was two reasons. One, was also because he was drunk, but also because he didn't want to leave Jacques again.

He had fun with him tonight. Strange, really. Before, the only reason was because he just wanted him for sex, but now — He's starting to think he's developing... Ew, no, dont go that way Jeffrey, no. You're married, man.

The latter got brought out of his thoughts by hearing the sound of Jacques voice talking to him.

“Well, I had fun with you tonight.” He hears the shorter speak, sounding perfectly fine now, as if he hadn't just drank more than 10 beers tonight.

Jeffrey hummed, not knowing if he should tell him about how he's feeling.“I— uh, h- here, let me—” The taller man spoke, getting out his phone.“Let me call you a-”

The black haired male got cut off, by the shorters lips pressing onto his. Is this right? They're both drunk. No, this is wrong, drunk or not, he's a married man! But.. But god, it felt good..

Coming off of the taller, Jacques felt better, as if he just put something heavy off his shoulders.

“I'm— The, uh.” The taller starts to blush, trying to hide it by turning away from the shorter. The shorter one just laughs at his antics, especially his drunk ones.

“It's okay, stupid, it's not gonna kill you.” The shorter boy speaks. The taller doesn't talk back, just wipes his mouth with the back of his hand.
