Daiki: Were you listening in on us?!
Erina: Just to be aware of shit.
Noriko: No! No! No! This isn't the time! Shut it and get in before someone sees us!
Daiki: She started it.
Noriko: I don’t care! Just get in or we’ll get caught!
*Daiki and Erina enter and hide*
(Misao and Shingo are in the hallway)
Shingo: Are you kidding me *under his breath*
Misao: Doctor, what was that?
Shingo: Just keep walking Denden. We can’t let Maekawa catch us.
(Misao and Shingo head to their dorms)
Noriko: Lucky for us, the coast is still clear. Ikeda, leave and go back to your dorm before someone catches you. You and I are done here.
Daiki: Okay then. Later Noriko.
*Daiki leaves*
Noriko: Kumada. We need to talk.
Erina: Wait what?
Noriko: It isn’t about Ikeda; we just need to talk.
Erina: Fine then, shoot.
Noriko: I know you overheard my conversation with Ikeda and therefore you know what I said and you know why I am doing all of this.
Erina: You are doing this for Ikeda and Matthias. I know that already. You are some vigilante that committed multiple computer crimes to get multiple criminals sent to jail. I remember what the rabbit said about you during the morning games.
Noriko: Exactly. You would agree with me when I say that every class and every occupation, especially those in positions we were conditioned and influenced to respect, teachers, celebrities, politicians, businessmen, etc. are full of disgusting people who prey on the young and defenseless and we are told to shut up and pretend like nothing is happening and get reprimanded if we try to speak up?
Erina: I hate that I agree with you on that. What’s your point?
Noriko: You also want to rebel against the current system. No matter what your actions were to enact your rebellion. One thing that is for certain is that you want to rebel against a system that has wronged you in some way. As someone who goes through such lengths to stand up to the injustice of this world. I will forever understand why anyone would want to rebel against such a system.
Erina: I don’t need your pity. Besides, I am not a vigilante. I don’t do my shit for justice or whatever the fuck. I just do my own thing with the people that matter to me and if people don’t like it, they can fuck off.
Noriko: I’m not pitying you. I am stating that I know how it feels to be frustrated with the system we are under and therefore, I understand why anyone would want to go against it in some way, Erina, if it's alright to call you that.
Erina: Call me whatever, I don’t care. Also, thanks for understanding, I guess. Is that all?
Noriko: One more thing, if this plan were to succeed. Keep this in mind when you return home, as you try to re-adjust and live the same way you did before this, don’t stop caring for those close to you.
Erina: I will never stop caring for those close to me.
Erina thinks about her potential actions
Erina: *heavily breathing* Fuck! If I met Sou and Mutsuko through different circumstances, I’d never have to abandon them like this! What’s wrong with me… FUCK! This whole thing is so stupid... *quietly sobs*
Noriko: I don't like that I have to go through with this either but we both know that it's our best option for what we want to achieve.
Erina: *sniffles*
Noriko: Kumada. That’s all I want to say to you. When you feel like it, leave.
Erina: I will….
