Tamarin traced her claw along the wall, easily and comfortably making her way through the halls of Jade Mountain. Several dragons gave polite greetings to the Rainwing as she passed that she returned in kind. She liked how Jade Mountain had developed. Sure, it had a rough start, but every dragon slowly grew more familiar and friendly. Almost every dragon in the first class of students knew her by name! It was nice.
“Tamarin!” A familiar voice called to her. The Rainwing stopped in her tracks and turned towards it, hearing the recognizable talonsteps of a Seawing Princess.
“Anemone.” She greeted warmly. Tamarin reached out and took the Princesses webbed talons into her own. “How are you?”
“I’m wonderful.” She replied. “Excellent even.” Tamarin could feel Anemone’s quick pulse throbbing through her talons. “Listen, my mother just sent me a ton of jewelry, way too much for me. If you want after class you could come over to my dorm later and try a few on and I’d let you keep them.”
“Sure.” Tamarin responded with a smile she hoped was comforting, Anemone was clearly stressed about something. But to not avail as in a quick jerk the Seawing tugged her talon away.
“Great! See you later!” Anemone scampered off, the sound off her talons fading into the crowd of students. Tamarin continued on her way to the library, supposedly Starflight needed her advice on something.

The blind Rainwing traced her way along the familiar path to Anemone’s dorm, holding a basket. “Anemone?” She asked once she reached what she thought was the entrance.
“Just a second Tamarin!” She called back. “Shoo, shoo.” There was a thump as another set of talons hit the ground.
“I’m going, I’m going.” Pestered a voice coming from Anemone’s room. Ostrich soon stepped out. “Good luck Tamarin, she’s rowdy today.” There was an awkward silence for a moment before the Sandwing spoke again. “Ah, sorry I’m winking.”
“Thanks Ostrich, I’ll be alright.” The Rainwing smiled and the Sandwing let out a low chuckle before wandering off. Anemone stepped out as well, taking Tamarin’s claw and leading her into the room.
“What’s in the basket?” The Seawing asked curiously.
“Well, you were just going to give me bangles and such, so I brought flowers.” She explained, lifting the basket and opening it. There were a few pots in there that she had made in Clay’s shop class with Peril’s help with healthy flowers. “They’re orchids.”
“Oh you didn’t have to.” Anemone tried to decline but Tamarin shook her head.
“But I wanted to.” She shot back, pushing the basket back towards.
“But I’m trying to give you something.”
“Three fucking moons!” Tamarin shouted, in a rare moment of anger. “Just taking the flowers I’m trying to flirt with you, they’re orchids, they symbolize romantic love.”
“Woah.” Anemone said shocked, taking the basket into her claws. “Is that a confession?”
“Yes.” The Rainwing admitted. “I’m sorry, you seemed stressed today and I’m probably not helping.”
“I was stressed because I was going to confess to you.” The Seawing admitted back. “Shit.”
“Shit indeed.” Tamarin agreed, nodding her head. “We should kiss and have hot lesbian sex.”
“Concurred.” Then they did what they said they were going to do.
Howdy folks, so apparently I'm not allowed to have works just dedicated to challenge announcements so I wrote ^ this today and will probably rewrite it because I realized I needed to open the challenge a month early so people actually have time to write. The challenge is Pride Month themed and the idea is to have one prompt per day, I'd if people would request what prompt they want put up so I can keep the days in order, but you can put them up yourself if that's easier.
Prompts will be simple, just a queer ship or queer character canon or non-canon. I highly encourage that ones are put up that acknowledge gender-queer identities as well as aro-ace ones.
