It was an ordinary day in mister Trein's class, when suddenly a student bursts in, and quickly bowed her head.
"I'm so sorry for being late mister Trein! ", " My cat instincts suddenly kicked in this morning and I had to take a quick catnap!
The class started laughing but the teacher did not see the humor in it.
"That's not an acceptable excuse miss y/n, one should always take responsibility even if they're a CAT, go sit down in the empty seat next to mr. Kingscholar."
"The discrimination of other species is so crazy", y/n whispers dramatically to herself.
"What!?" Said Trein
"Oops nothing nothing!!"
Y/n goes to look for the empty seat Mr. Trein said to sit in and finds one next to a sleeping dude.
She sits next to him and wonders why the teacher isn't complaining about it.
The lesson proceeds by quickly and the teacher announces that there will be a project that has to be done with two people.
"I have made the groups randomly so check on the board who you're paired up with", the teachers says.
"Great, now I have to socialize" y/n says.
She goes up to the board and sees that she's paired up with the sleeping kingscholar guy.
"And I'm going to be the only one who puts in effort!??"
She goes back to her seat and tries to wake Leona up.
"Hey, so basically we're paired up together for a project, so you should wake up so we can plan who does what."
No response.
A second try.
Nope.
The last effort seems to work and he wakes up.
"Stop shaking me I heard ya the first time, you're on your own for this one."
Y/n looks at him for a second, and then goes back to the front of the class to complain.
"Hey teacher, so I know we got off the wrong foot this morning but I was wondering if I can switch partners for the group project because someone does not want to work with me."
"That's not going to be possible just deal with him" the teachers answers.
"This is crazy" y/n complains
She goes back to her seat.
"Hey, kingsocial right?", "if you work with me I'll bribe you with some food, kay?
She winks.
Leona who was trying to fall back asleep, slowly looks at her.
"Fine but don't bother me with useless stuff" ,and it's Kingscholar, not whatever you said, I think you're missing basic education if you don't know who the Kingscholars are." He responds.
"Okay whatever, when do you wanna work on the project?" She says while rolling her eyes.
He blankly stares at her, maybe too tired to answer or he just didn't care? Who knows.
"Okay then, just give me your socials and we'll try to figure some time" she said baffled of him blatantly ignoring her.
"Sure whatever" he finally answers.
She left the classroom as quickly as she could when she got the number so she didn't have to bother with him anymore.
(The next day)
She gets a notification and sees that it's the guy from yesterday.
