It was a rainy spring day when Dazai would sadly be walking home for the very last time without knowing it. He turned the corner he didn't hear the footsteps behind him. The footsteps following his every move until it was to late. A cloth wrapped around his mouth with a sleeping gas. The captor drags him to a van and binds his ankles and wrists. Dazai wakes up hours later in a cage Fyodor across from him with a look that could only be described as Yandere game. Fyodor says "oh Dazai My Dazai welcome home~" Fyodor said it so possessively it disgusted Dazai to the core. Dazai quickly responds "do you have nothing better to do?" this causes Fyodor to chuckle.
Month 2 Dazai is still defiant
As Month two rolls around Fyodor is getting increasingly annoyed Dazai isn't breaking as fast as he hoped. Fyodor walks down the stairs of the building and to Dazai cage. Dazai is wearing nothing but an oversized hoodie, very short shorts, and striped thigh high socks. Fyodor chuckles and sits in front of Dazai "you will love me eventually" Fyodor says little did Dazai know that statement will become a reality soon.
Month four Dazai starts to become dependent
It's closing the four month mark and Dazai has forgotten how to do almost everything cook? Forgot clean? Forgot shower? Forgot he must rely on Fyodor for everything. Fyodor is loving the control he has over Dazai.
Month six Dazai develops early Stockholm syndrome
As the days pass Dazai grows increasingly intent on pleasing his dear captor. "Dazai dear~ do you like your cage?" Fyodor asks and Dazai quickly replies "yes". Fyodor chuckles at this statement as he takes Dazai for his weekly bath.
Month ten Dazai is fully in Stockholm syndrome
Dazai lays in Fyodor bed wrist bound as to prevent escape but Dazai no longer tries. Fyodor has been successful in his endeavor to make Dazai dependant. Fyodor now must get his death Lover Nikolai out of the picture. Fyodor knows if Nikolai finds out his plan is doomed.
Month twelve Nikolai gets suspicious
It's been a year now and Nikolai has started to notice little changes in Fyodor almost perfect schedule. Nikolai knows he is not nearly as intelligent as Fyodor so he knows his best bet is to wait and gather evidence. Fyodor loves teasing Nikolai to make it seem nothing is wrong. Nikolai has caught on to Fyodor deception and has started playing along to gather easier evidence.
Month twelve with Dazai
Dazai sits in his cage waiting for Fyodor. When Fyodor arrives he walks into the cage and abuses Dazai kicking and hitting him until he's writhering. If Dazai was still in his right mind he'd try to stop it but he just let's it go.
Month Eighteen Nikolai finds out the truth
Nikolai finally found the evidence to figure out the truth and he has never felt so betrayed. Nikolai may be ruthless but he has morals. Nikolai swears to never let a captive become attached like he did because it turned him into a crazy Jester. Nikolai realizes History is repeating itself and he must not let Dazai be taking control of like he was.
Month eighteen Nikolai goes to the Agency
Nikolai walks into the Armed Detective Agency and they immediately get ready to fight. To show he means no harm Nikolai drops all his weapons to the ground his three knives and his pistol. "I mean no harm I have found your missing detective" Nikolai says. The Agency members are shocked some happy some skeptical "where is He! Did you take him!" Yosano yells. Nikolai shakes his head no "No I'm just a victim of the same man who took your Detective Dazai" Nikolai looks down solemnly "can you tell us what happened to you and who has Dazai?" Fukuzawa asks. Nikolai nods "when I was 18 I was taken held hostage by Fyodor until I developed Stockholm syndrome and was devoted to him he eventually forced me into my life of crime giving me the nickname his Jester Nikolai isn't my actual name I don't remember my old name either. Fyodor has done the same to Dazai he did to me he's made Dazai dependant on him... I will lead you to Dazai" Nikolai says. The Agency members look sad and nod "lead the way clown" Ranpo spats still not trusting.
Month eighteen the rescue
Nikolai leads them to an abandoned building and walks to the basement where they see Dazai in a cage. They run to Dazai and pull him out.
Month nineteen Fyodor is finally arrested
A month later both Nikolai and Dazai are put into therapy. Nikolai is given probation for all his crimes due to the circumstances and is in a special rehab. Fyodor is in jail awaiting trial on 2 counts of Kidnapping 30 counts of physical abuse 2 counts of mental abuse.
Month twenty four new life
Nikolai has started dating Tetcho Suehiro of the hunting dogs. He and Tetcho live together in Nikolai studio apartment as Nikolai works at a pastry cafe. Dazai is still experiencing Stockholm but it's gotten to where it's only Dazai waking up begging for Fyodor. Fyodor has gone to trial and was sentenced to life in Mersault Prison without parole in a isolation cell.
Month twenty six Mori and Fukuzawa are happy
Mori has been crying again but not tears of sadness like when his son Dazai was gone. These are tears of joy his baby boy is getting better. Fukuzawa is always comforting his husband just as happy to have both his sons Ranpo and Dazai together again.
