Chapter Text
Mikha and Colet have always been that pair of best friends—both known as the “poging mag bestfriends” in their circle. Same energy, same confidence, same effortless way of acting like nothing in the world could shake them.
They tease each other nonstop. Who’s more pogi, who has more rizz, who would survive better in a “who looks better” ranking. It’s always a joke. Always light. Always easy.
But then something changes.
Colet slowly starts shifting her style—cargo pants turning into soft trousers, then skirts, then softer, more feminine outfits. Even her hair starts changing—worn down more often, styled in a way that makes her look unexpectedly gentler, prettier without trying.
Still Colet. Still annoying. Still her best friend.
Just… different.
And Mikha notices.
At first, she laughs it off. Teases her. Acts normal.
But the more Colet changes, the more Mikha starts to notice her.
Really notice her.
Until one day, it hits her too hard—how pretty Colet actually looks now.
And suddenly, Mikha is no longer just teasing.
She’s gay panicking.
Posting on her private X account like:
“Lord sana magkajowa na bestfriend ko kasi gumaganda na siya sa paningin ko 😭”
Still friends. Still normal. Still joking.
At least on the outside.
Because inside, Mikha is starting to realize—
maybe the joke stopped being just a joke a long time ago.
