It was so much easier to steal things if you were “precisely woman-shaped”, as Sophie had put it. Expectations! Meeting them in the marks mind was so much effort. Dresses had never been particularly interesting to Parker — most clothing wasn’t — but the magnificent shape of that southern belle dress still floated in her mind, packed to the brim with money. 

Sophie really would have been a lot more convincing about the dresses a decade ago if she’d mentioned the part where you gained an extra undetectable zone of crime storage. At least if you took small, precisely woman-shaped steps. Effort!
