Just yesterday, Amato first time saving people at Kota Hilir bridge fighting with some ugly rocket robot and his first time being a superhero called Mechamato. While busy fighting with the evil robot, he somehow become unfocused as his glance suddenly fall to a girl on the road who looked like she just fell on her wheelchair as her mom try her best to help her daughter.
Amato then Sprinted in to save her just in time before the evil robot could attack him. Amato then quickly carries the girl into her wheelchair and tells her mother to run away from here.
"Uish bukan main hero lagi eh kau" he said chuckling. Mechabot yeah of course he was mocking amato after he saw him save the poor girl.
"Eh diam la kau" Amato replied, already tired of that power sphere as he punched mechabot face who's literally on his chest right now.
But mechabot is right. The girl he just saved earlier is literally so beautiful he hopes he could see the girl again ( little did he know).

...Amato favorite day Monday.. he definitely so excited that he slept more and ran out late to school. But fortunately, Mr.Jamie hasn't come yet. A little strange actually because he remember deep once said that even when his brother still in this school, Mr. Jamie never late but...yeah whatever atleast I'm safe from him this time Amato thought.
He finally clouch to his best pal, pian and tell him a crazy story from yesterday. Yes the one when he fighting with Troket. Until then Mr. Jamie finally came in but this time he's not alone but he bringing a new girl in a wheelchair that seems too familiar to amato.
" Hi, nama saya Tamara. Panggil je Mara" the girl introduced herself.
Tamara..What a beautiful name, he thought to himself but seemingly the girl, Mara doesn't seem really happy to see amato. Amato stare at her while she moves on her wheelchair to the empty seat, just a few seats next to amato. As she moves, she still doesn't leave her glances at amato. Her eyes seems to say 'i know what you did'
Pian, seemingly to notice the tension between them, whispered to Amato " weh kau kenal ke dia, asal dia pandang kau macam tu?" Pian genuinely feels so confused at this state
"Erm nanti eh aku cerita kat kau" amato replies
The bell has finally ringing indicating that amato class has to go to the science lab after this. While amato and pian are getting ready to go to the science lab with mechabot impatiently waiting them at the door, amato try to find mara until he realizes that she already gone. Well maybe she already went to the lab, what can I do though amato thought. He honestly don't know why he wants to find mara.
As always pian and amato always arrived late at the science lab (thanks to amato) and almost all the table was already full, taken by their classmates except for mara table. She doesn't sat alone though, Deep was already there sitting beside her, keeping her company. And when deep saw amato, pian and mechabot, he raises his hand try to get their attention and make a gesture for them to sit there.
"Weh kenapa kau pilih table ni?" Amato ask because he feels a little bit uncomfortable because he knows that he's the one who almost broke mara wheelchair the other day.
"Eh okay apa kat sini, lagipun kesian la dia dah la baru first day" deep replies try to defend mara because he thought amato doesn't like sitting with the girl.
"Korang gosip pasal aku ke apa" mara finally speak as she set her glares at them, especially at amato. Amato swears to god her glares almost sends chills down his spine.
"Ah, tak sumpah tak" amato try to calm her down and defending himself of course.
"Kau...kau la superhero tu kan" mara suddenly raise her index finger towards Amato. Amato there's already praying to God if the girl suddenly ask for compensation money.
"Kau la Matomato tu kan"
"Hah?" He's actually do expect mara to finally realized that he's the superhero at the Kota Hilir bridge but.. Matomato?
"Woy, Mechamato la, bukan Matomato" mechabot strike in as he feels a little mad as someone just called him tomato. I mean they're not wrong though.
"Uish, Matomato siot" pian slap amato back as he and deep suddenly burst out laughing hard because of it until amato and mechabot suddenly join them and mara finally slowly let's out a little giggles just by looking at them.
After that 'Matomato' incident, they're officially become a group of five. Mara looked very done with them because she the only sane one at the group but definitely couldn't handle her laughter whenever she saw them.
They spend their time hanging out together at warung Muhibah, eating cendols and talks about stupid stuff and deep dad jokes. They also studying together before the exam even though we know the one who's actually study is mara and pian. But most of the time they were fighting a bad robot together. Mara, pian and deep will help amato to find something he could mechanize on while him and mechabot would defeat the robot.
Every day is always the same things yet no one have ever complain about it because they know once they're complaining mara will lecture them about things like 'time is precious' or 'you have to cherish every moment together' until their ears bleed.
Even though amato look a little annoyed on the surface, he actually really appreciate mara good intention on lecture them and to him, it also make mara looks wise and smart.
Everytime someone brought up things like " kenapa kau asyik pandang dia" or " kau suka dia ke?" Amato always replies with " tak la aku just kagum" or " mana ada "every single time.
He always deny it even himself couldn't honestly know why. Until....
One night after amato, mechabot, pian and mara finally defeated payapi or apayapi who's actually the one who cause a lot of fire incident yet he's the one who safe all of the fire victim. Two faces robot, amato thought.
They all now finally can have a chill time at amato garage after the chaotic fight with the robot.
Amato scroll down his mechanizer admiring his own collection of all the bad robots he has captured as he looks at apayapi information given by rubika.
"Huh, acah² hero. Kau yang bakar, kau jugak yang padam kan api"amato said as he rolls his eyes full of disgust. Mara quitely stares at him and let out a little giggles as she continues to read her book. Then suddenly pian calls for amato and mechabot.
"Weh korang tengok ni" pian said as he show the article on his tablet to amato and mechabot. Mara doesn't seem to bother because she thought the boys definitely has something stupid to tell each other.
'HERO LUMPUH SELEPAS SELAMATKAN MANGSA KEBAKARAN' they mutter the title on the article as they scroll down and saw a picture of mara on a wheelchair with her mom and a little kid who's actually the fire victim and another woman beside the kid. It's written on the article that the "hero lumpuh" is actually mara.
"Weh korang, dah lambat ni. Jom teman aku balik" mara ask them to accompany her back to home as she fondly smiles at them.
All of them couldn't stop their smile for mara because today, they're just learnt that the real hero is actually right in front of them, with a wheelchair smiling at them. They all finally agree to accompany her back to her home.
Amato swears to god...mara looks too beautiful to be real, to be his friends but here she is, along with them, walking her home. Amato doesn't realize it, he been staring too long at mara. He slowly admiring Mara beauty on his head as he stare at her.
Mara tan skin looks glowing under the moonlight, her big brown doe eyes shinning under the night lamp, her hijab look ridiculously in place for someone who just fighting with a robot and her beauty mark under her eyes. She has a beauty of a traditional Malay women. Definitely the one he saw on P. Ramlee films.
I bet all the elder people she meet will always compliment about her beautiful look amato quietly thought. Until he suddenly realized that...."mungkin, aku memang suka kan dia" he mutter it in his heart. He quietly admiring mara beauty again but now while he gently pushed her wheelchair.
"Eh amato, takpa la aku boleh tolak sendiri, kau mesti penat" mara said shyly as she feels wrong because she knows amato was already tired enough after his fight with the evil robot.
"Mana ada, sikit je ni" he grins widely showing all his teeth that saying 'im the strongest person ever'.
Mechabot quietly observe those two bickering about something stupid over who's gonna pushed the wheelchair and like always pian always comes to safe the day. What a rare thing for mechabot to suddenly being so observant.
After they all accompany mara back to her home and pian personal driver suddenly come and pick him up, now only mechabot and amato left and walked on their way to their house.
" Weh, apahal ko pandang mara macam tu" mechabot sudden question almost make amato choking on his own spit.
" Hah, pandang macam mana lak?" Amato tries to pull out the 'idk what you talking about' card.
Mechabot only have to take a glance of amato face until he suddenly smirking like an idiot he is like he's just finished some puzzle.
"Yang kau tu tersengih macam orang gila tu kenapa lak" amato clearly looks annoyed with that smirk because he knows damn well what it's mean
" Haih amato² senang betul nak baca kau ni" as he suddenly laughing like a maniac on the side of the road. Amato has to cover his face whenever someone passing by.
It's already 11: 30 pm. Mara in her room already laying on her bed staring at the ceiling trying to sleep but clearly can't.
She already finished all her homework, already studying for her test tomorrow. Even already decided her clothes for tomorrow ( hardest decision) yet she still couldn't sleep.
She's still thinking about the way amato has been staring at her the whole day. Mara favorite session before sleep after she moving to Kota Hilir, thinking about some stupid boy who somehow become her friends.
At first mara thought that amato was so stupid and stubborn to the head that sometimes make her wonder how he could protect this city but slowly after she befriended him, she only saw a brave and carefree boy trying his best to protect this city and that make her slowly soften.
But after a several times she caught up amato stare at her....she feels something weird in her heart, butterfly in her stomach, reddish color crept in her cheeks. What is this feeling. Oh. She know damn well what's that feeling is.
"Ya Allah tolong lah aku" mara slowly mutter in her breath feeling absolutely hopeless.
"Weh mechabot" amato call for him from the bottom bunk bed.
" Apa menda?" Mechabot replies genuinely feels a little annoyed as he just want to fall asleep.
" Apa yang kau dapat baca dari aku" amato ask him.
" Aku dapat baca yang kau tu memang dah suka sangat kat mara" mechabot straightforward answer make him surprise
" Pertama kali eh kau dapat teka benda dengan betul" amato mocks him and grinning to himself until he's hear mechabot snoring sound from the upper bunk.
' what is she doing now'. 'is she gonna come to school tomorrow ' that was all amato could think of before he went to sleep.
Amato know it since him in a primary school, he's always been popular among girls his ages but amato never really bother into it. Amato also very friendly with all of them and only treat them as a friend. He's actually never feel anything about them but mara..... She's so different. Maybe because amato never meet her before. And now, amato only want to meet mara.
