Chapter Text
Kiittiwake sat at the meeting table next to her mother, the nightwings on the opposing side staring at them with arrogance. The room was full of guards, fearsome looking nightiwngs stood behind the ambassador, but behind even Kittiwake and her mother stood even more menacing looking icewing guards, their spikes and spears glinting under the rooms candlelight.
Her mother had told her that this would be an extreambly valuable lesson about negotiation and intertribe relationships, but right now all that she had learned, was that she was one rude remark away from jumping across the table and hitting the young nightwing that sat next to the nightwing ambassador. The young nightiwng had extreambly strange eyes, yellow with a swirl in the middle, and for some reason she got the felling he was some sort of mind reader because everytime she thought about an insult to call him, he would give her a smirk.
Her mother, Gyrfalcon, looked over at her and sighed. She must have noticed the anger on her face because she turned to this nightwings and said ‘We’ve been talking for over 2 hours. Why don’t we go take a break and resume negotiations after we’ve all eaten’ Her soft but elegant voice filled the room with it’s embrace. They both turned to look at the nightwings, expectant of their response.
