Blood pooled from the body as it layed unmoving on the ground. A shining piece of metal stabbed through the heart. Most say the creature never had a heart and that black blood would pour upon it's downfall. An intense battle happend all around as 2 fell in the middle of it all.
"Richard, my beloved, did it have to end this way? All for the sake of being king?" A cold hand brushed against Richard's cheek with light pink blush and sweat scattered all across their face. The sound of death etched across the battlefield. Richard's lips didn't move, unable to speak any words, eyes barely open as the so called creature was living was living in it's last moment before fully disappearing from this world.
"Can't you stay a little longer? You are my king and I am your kingmaker, but it's not only that is it? Our bond can't be broken. I'm the only one who knows your true nature and stays by your side, not even your mother could" The creature had no horns or any tail, just a vile body that was never normal, not even disfigured. A body that not even a mother could love.
Richard's eyes closed, leading only to darkness as the other held the bloodied body. "I see, that's how it is, you don't wish to stay with me any longer.
