After all these years, Lucia still looks at her husband and gets that same flutter deep down, remembering the younger man she once knew, and first fell in love with. The years sit well on him.
So handsome and strong then, and even more now, she thinks to herself with a smile. She knew then that he was the right one to make her life with, the man who would be the father to her children, the one she wanted beside her.
He’s only proven her right. As time passes, she’s fallen more in love with Teo. Every day she’s woken up next to him, every moment of his being a father to their children, everything he does to ensure the well being of others, the people of their barony
And every way he’s shown his love for her, Lucia has never questioned her choice in this man.
