• the way you say my name, so different from everyone else

• how everytime you send me a voice note there's a song

playing in the background that you hum at some point

• that your perfume stays on everything that you touch

(even me) long after you're gone

• when you are trying to explain something and you get so

serious (i love it)

• when we get out of the shower and your eyelashes are wet

• that you never look at me as if I am talking too much

or saying something dumb (even if I am)

• the look on your face when I pronounce something the wrong

way and you ask me to say it again

• the way you share your passion for everything that you love

and try to make me a part of it

• how thoughtful your gifts are

• that you still buy things like records, paintings, movies

• that you try to fully answer all my questions even if it's

something you don't like to talk about (and I never notice

that until it's too late)

• that you never let go of me first when we hug

• when we spend a couple days together and I hear you

using the same words I do or copying my hand gestures

• that even if you're mad at me you still send a "good

night" text when we're apart

• when we're around people and you're very quiet but

the minute we're alone you get chatty again

• when we say something as a joke a couple times

and it sticks so we just keep it as an inside joke

• that you still invite me to events you know I can’t

attend but you’d still like me to be there

• when I can’t sleep and you stay up with me

even when you’re so tired

• the way you know me so well that sometimes I don't

even have to say what's going on, you just know
