Chapter Text
As any morning in the Afton home, the first to wake up was the children's oh so "beloved" father, at around 3 am, getting up early to work on the animatronics and studying new technology. He was always the one to lose track of time conveniently when he was working, but still keeping track of time enough to be able to fuss at his kids for waking up a little too late, or whatever else have you. William would take his time up until around 6, in which Micheal had to wake up to get the other two up, since his father was so busy.
Waking up at the early hours, Micheal didn't want to particularly get up. It was so early, and he didn't want to go to school, not like he did much of anything there either way, Micheal tried to sleep in a bit, in hopes his father wouldn't notice and promptly makes things even worse. The worst part about that though, is that, albeit the expensiveness of the house itself and the animatronics, the curtains were quite cheap in his room specifically. While Micheal laid there, he tried to close his eyes, sleep again, all that, but, on early mornings like these, the sun came up annoyingly early, and was messing with him.
After a couple minutes, and an aggravated yell from downstairs, William's slightly scratchy and frustrated voice and tone mixed with his accent, Micheal decided to finally get up, get dressed into the most stereotypical school bully outfit anyone has ever seen, along with his signature foxy mask on the side of his head. He glanced around the room for a bit, a quick check to make he has everything, mostly games and all that in order to have fun when skipping class, the the almost black, yet still a shade of red, walls, it was very red and black themed, a couple dumb foxy plushies and all kinds of other merch, and such stuffed into boxes and places around, he didn't care for them much anymore, but foxy was his favorite, he wouldn't get rid of them, even if they looked childish to him.
When he finally left his room, he went to go wake up Elizabeth, heading to her room a bit away, downstairs so that the kids wouldn't trip and fall or something of the like, even though there have been a couple instances of Micheal pushing either of them down the stairs in a cardboard box. Back to the topic, he mostly just told Elizabeth to get up and get dressed soon or he'd thrown one of her childish little dolls.
Once Micheal when to Evan's room, he snuck up quietly, coming towards the right door to his room and banging on it a bunch to scare him awake, opening the door laughing after Evan panicked, thinking if was one of those monsters he rambled about all day and night.
"God, you're so easy to scare, crybaby, it's just me" Micheal said in response to his panic, bursting into the room.
"M-Micheal! Stop it!" Evan retorted, trying to sound mean, but really, he was so small and spooked that anyone could tell he wouldn't do anything, especially Micheal.
"Uh-huh, sure I will" Micheal started off, pausing before quickly finishing his sentance, "when you stop being a damn crybaby anyway"
Micheal walked out of the room, waving at the kid behind him, getting real cocky because he knew Evan wouldn't say anything anyway, he didn't care, heading off to go make him some toast or cereal, or both, he was feeling pretty hungry anyway.
