Work Text:

“Come out, little one…” The sister Krang’s voice scraped through the darkness, each word a jagged blade. The air vibrated with her presence, thick and suffocating, as her tentacles slithered across the floor—wet, glistening, leaving trails of slime that steamed where they touched the cold stone. The walls themselves seemed to pulse, echoing her hunger, closing in on him with every breath.

He could hear her claws clicking, scraping against the ground, searching for flesh. The sickly sweet scent of decay filled the air, mingling with the metallic tang of fear. “You’re the only one who can help us,” she crooned, but her voice twisted into a guttural snarl, promising torment. “You have a power unlike anyone else…”

Her silhouette loomed, monstrous and shifting, blocking out what little light remained. Michelangelo’s body trembled, pressed into the shadows, his heart pounding so violently he feared it would burst. He wanted to run, but her tentacles lashed out, snapping inches from his face, gouging deep grooves into the stone. The walls dripped with her venom, and every escape route seemed to close as she advanced.

She knew his secret—his hands could tear open reality, summon portals—but now those hands shook, slick with sweat and terror. Her voice burrowed into his mind, promising agony, as her tentacles writhed, eager to seize him, to drag him screaming into the depths. The darkness itself seemed to breathe, alive with her anticipation, and he knew: if she found him, she would not simply hurt him. She would destroy him. He just had to outlast her—and stay hidden.

She called to him again, voice syrup-sweet with false mercy. “I promise I won’t kill you,” she purred, letting the words linger like bait. “I’ll keep you as my pet for all eternity. And as a sign of good faith… you’ll help me bring back my brothers.”

He squeezed his eyes shut, trying to slow his breathing, but his heart still thundered against his ribs—loud enough she might hear it. Loud enough to lead her straight to him. For one dizzy second, it even sounded like she was nowhere near. No. That was the trick. She would wait for impatience to do what her tentacles couldn’t.

Time stretched until his legs cramped and his mind started to fray. Then, finally, he broke—slipping out of his hiding spot and sprinting toward the pale strip of light ahead. Almost out. Almost—

Something slick and strong snapped around his ankle. His foot jerked out from under him, and he hit the ground hard enough to rattle his teeth. Pain flashed white; warm blood flooded his mouth where he’d bitten his tongue. He clawed at the floor for anything—stone, pipe, splintered debris—anything he could grip, anything he could swing. But the pull only tightened, relentless, dragging him backward into the dark.

Tentacles unfurled over him in a heartbeat—coiling around his wrists, his chest, his throat, pinning his arms to his sides until he couldn’t even reach for his portal power. He was hauled upright like a doll, spun, and yanked close until he was staring into her one good eye, huge and unblinking.

“Hello, little one,” she whispered. “Scream if you want—no one can hear you where I’m taking you.”

Notes:

I know, I know, I should be writing my other story, but, honestly, I just hope this fanfic kind of gets someone’s muse going. I honestly would love more Mikey stories where Krang learns that Mikey can open portals with his hands. Just feels like it’s an untouched potential, but I don’t have the writing chops to pull it off. But this image just would not leave until I wrote it down and shared it with y'all so enjoy.
