Chapter Text
[ I had always found it weird.
How nobody questioned me on how I entered the realm.
It felt as though I was just someone everyone found off putting, it felt like my only purpose to serve.
I assist those who need help, too, and that's all.
But what if I was seen through for once?
No, if anything I'm only noticed when injured.
I should stop saying such foolishness. ]
Two Time had constantly thought to themself, figuring that if they ignored the thoughts long enough, they'd dissapear.
They never did, however, all the thoughts did was intensify gradually, even physically taking a toll on them at times.
They were able to do what they’ve always done though, no matter what. That’s what The Spawn would want, right?
“Two Time? TWO TIME!!!” A voice drifted into their head, muffled, but clear the second time.
It was Chance, the one that got along with everyone. Even 007n7, surprisingly.
“Hm?” Two Time responded, suddenly woken from their nap on one of the seats right outside the main cabin.
“The round’s starting soon, do you wanna join us?”
Chance questioned Two Time, acting as if he hadn’t just asked something that Two Time couldn’t quite say no to.
“Gladly.”
“Alright, it starts in around… a minute!”
Chance ran back inside the cabin after informing Two Time. They were left to ponder with their thoughts yet again, supposing that if they were noticed at least once, it couldn't be too bad, right?
Them being spawned into the Ultimate Assassin Grounds map had abruptly interrupted well... their thinking.
Two Time began heading to the middle of the map speedily, searching to fill their obligation bar before they were brought back to the lobby.
Chance was following right behind them, flipping his coin repeatedly. Two Time didn't mind the noise, as long as they had some sort of company.
“Hey, Two Time?”
“Hm?”
“Ya ever gambled before?
“Not with currency. However, if you look at it a certain way, all of us do really. Noob uses their abilities depending on the situation, but at times they fail. Elliot has to—“
They were caught off guard due to voicing their opinions verbally.
Slasher had managed to hit both Two Time and Chance with a behead, preventing both of them from using any of their abilities.
By that point, Two Time having to go through excruciating pain whenever they entered their second life, didn’t feel as hurt, just slightly startled.
On the other hand, Chance, (both startled by Slasher and suddenly attacked) screamed in absolute FEAR and pulled up his flintlock, pulling the trigger immediately and protecting Two Time from the killer.
“Spawn would appreciate your acts of kindness.”
“GOT IT YOU’RE WELCOME NOW LET’S GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!!!” Chance was already running away, while on the other hand, Two Time stayed behind and occupied Slasher, wasting his time by constantly running around him.
Slasher caught on quick, however. Two Time didn’t have to do much before they were too injured to tank any more hits. They fled just as Chance did, managing to lose Slasher after 30 seconds of running across the map.
Searching for Elliot, they had a slight limp due to being struck multiple times.
They weren’t able to find Elliot, as he was being chased by the killer on the other side of the map.
However, they were able to find dusekkar. “Divine Pumpkin, may you grant me the ability to defend the others with your magic?”
“…Eugh.” Dusekkar hesitantly performed Plasma Beam with Two Time as the target.
“May The Spawn bless you for your kind actions, Divine Pumpkin.” Two Time thanked Dusekkar before running until they found Noob, scared out of their mind and running in whichever direction would probably take them away from Slasher.
Guest 1337 was already running right behind the chaos, attempting to shift the killer’s attention onto him.
Slasher had suddenly changed the path he was following, going DIRECTLY for Two Time, who was standing there befuddled. Before they knew it, they were right back to where they placed their ritual down.
“Oh.” Two Time let one word escape out of pure shock, confusion, and whatever was happening in the middle of the map.
With Guest, absolutely NOTHING was going his way. Noob was on low health, Elliot tried throwing a pizza towards Noob, and it ended up hitting Guest 1337 instead.
Because of Two Time respawning, there was an extra 15 seconds on the timer. Taph had that covered however, with the plenty of tripwires and mines she had set up earlier.
Slasher did not get a singular kill.
After the round had ended, Two Time headed towards the dock, which wasn’t being occupied by Noob for the moment.
They gazed upward, looking at the endless night sky.
Two Time figured it would be the best option to tell the others what they really did, before any of them decided Two Time should be included in whatever activities would happen in the future.
[ This is for the best. ]
