Hiii.. Oc centric shit, chapter names will have meaning by some point. I plan like 20 chapters, but don't expect much. Ill try updating every saturday.. Unless I get more ideas, twenty chapters it is:) I don't plan far ahead, so expect changes in pace, random plot twists that had no foreshadowing, shit writing, etc.

Chapter Text

It was another day of peace. Parrot was King, the server slowly warming up to him. Everything was peaceful. Or so they thought.

Was is they keyword. The peace was a steady track until, during a big speech Parrot was announcing, someone, heavily injured, was in the crowd. Parrot flew down.

"Oh God, are you okay?.. Theo! Get healing pots and bandages!" He called up to where his personal guard was. Theo nodded and rushed into the castle. Parrot used his feathers to stun bleeding. They were a sobbing mess.

Theo returned withh bandages and healing pots quickly, and the person drank them quickly while Theo and Parrot bandages them up. As Parrot bandages them, they began rambling.

"I-I tried to betray them.. T-to defy! They- were too strong.." The person rambled on and on about how they had tried to defy an unknown person and was almost killed by them.

"Who?" Parrot asked, stepping back as he surveyed the now bandages civillian. "You'll get some rest in the castle medical ward."

"It was.. It was Kai! Kairazor!" The person's words made everyone freeze in fear. Kai? They were supposed to be dead. Everyone was told Kai had died to LAW. They were the number one most wanted person for LAW! More than Wemmbu!

"Kai is dead! You're lying!" Someone called out, trying to convince themselves more than anyone..

"I! I have photos..." They muttered, pulling photographs from their sack. Kai, stood at the top of a mountain, seemingly giving a speech to many people. That was not old. Everyone knew.

Everyone in the crowd below Kai wore similar things. Brown dresses on some, brown tank tops and shorts on others. They all had a sack identical to the person's.

"Kai.. Can't be back." Parrot muttered.. "Theo, take them to the medical ward.. Also, call Spoke, Wemmbu, and Flame. If Kai is back.. We need everyone we can. Who knows if they'll attack.

"They will!" The crowd gasped as the being's sobbing passed, they rubbed tears from their eyes. "They want unstable for themself! They have an army almost as big as LAW's!"

"That's impossible.. They aren't influential. Not at all." Parrot was not convincing. He knew what needed to be done.

He knew he needed to protect his kingdom from Kai. Once his friend, then an enemy. Kai had joined the mafia as Ash's right hand man, right beside Minute and Clown.

The next day, the kingdom was on lockdown, capital city especially. Theo was guarding the meeting room as the big 4 chattered. Wemmbu and Flame argued, Spoke watched, and Parrot groaned at their banter.

"Be quiet! This kingdom could be DOOMED!" Parrot slammed his hands on the large table, everyone froze. "Spoke! You were friends with them when friends with Jamato, right? They had exploited gear too?."

Spoke nodded. "Yeah, they had every protectionon it like my chest piece, and like HUNDREDS of shulkers of EXP, rockets, wind charges.. They had like 7 maces, but I think they lost them. And full set of tools with max enchantments. Their sword had literally every enchantment.."

Parrot groaned audibly at this, his feathers furrowing as he drags a hand across his face. "Do they still have all that?." Spoke shrugged, being useless as in every discussion.

"No idea, ask that person who came from their town." Parrot sighed, but opened up about what had happened last night.

"They were found dead. A book left beside them." Parrot dropped the book on the table, while Wemmbu and Flame fought for it, Spoke grabbed it, and read aloud. "'Dear ParrotX2, Snitches won't get far enough to get to you anymore. Your lovely razor.' Damn, that's scary." Spoke said, chuckling like he was joking.. But he was scared. Like everyone.
Kai was a force to be reckoned with. Flame and Manepear had trained them before they had went off the rails fighting LAW and killing hundreds in the mafia. Flame raised his hand before speaking.

"They have one mace left, I think they only have their exploited pants and chest plate left. Or at least that's what they had last time I trained them." Parrot nodded, okay, maybe not a huge threat then. But still dangerous if they have an army like that person had said.

"Oh yeah, I could solo them. Probably horrible with the mace too!" Wemmbu scoffed, kicking his legs onto the table. Flame sighed loudly at his usual cockiness, always thinking he's best.

"They were trained by Manepear like you were, but they were trained way longer than you. They're probably better at macing." Flame pointed out, crossing his arms and eying Wemmbu.

"You're doubting me?" Wemmbu laughed, clearly not afraid of them. He was just assuming Kai was just a random nobody trying to be edgy.

"Wemmbu." Parrot spoke, his voice steady as he held up a hand to be silent. Wemmbu groaned but listened, silenting down.

"We should try to call Jumper and Jaden for backup while we look for their village with my guards. Spoke, get Jumper, say I need her and her spies. Wemmbu, get Jaden. You can recruit anyone else trustworthy too."

Parrot was commanding. He usually kept everything optional, but now? This wasn't a choice. They knew they need to do whatever they could. If Kai actually had an army like LAW's..

The three exchanged glances, and ultimately left. Flame decided to just go find people to recruit, Wemmbu decided he would recruit Jaden and Egg, Spoke would recruit Jumper and Mappic!

They parted ways. Parrot groaned, collapsing back into his chair and running his hands through his bangs. He groans and leans back, putting his hands flat against his face.

His feathers ruffled in deep seated agitation. Of course Kai was coming back even more powerful! Just as he became king too! He wanted to help people, but that would be tough with Kai's cult of players.

They had worked closely with Spoke. They knew his exploits. They probably had full maxxed netherite for their army.

Theo walked over, and leaned against Parrot's velvet chair. He sighed as he patted Parrot's head.

"We'll defeat them. We always have. No way they're that powerful, no one even trusts them." Theo said reassuringly, flashing his overconfident smile.

"We don't know that. We don't know anything they're even capable of, Theo." Parrot was worried, obviously very unsure of this.

"We need all the help we can get." Parrot spoke gently as he listened to Theo's impatient sigh, before he perked up, like he knew something.

"I recognize your expression, Theo. What is it?" Parrot asked curiously, Theo smirked, knowing something.

"Lettuce should've had coordinates to their last base he got right before we ended Law, right?"

"Oh, yeah! They were going to go arrest them before we deafeated Law!" Parrot said, immediately slinging his bag over his shoulder.

"Then let's go!" Theo waved Parrot towards the cooridors that would lead towards the holding cells, where Lettuce is.

The walk was mostly silent, Parrot was in deep thought. They didn't know how much about Kai was truthful, they didn't even know if the letter was from Kai.

They didn't know anything, and it made Parrot uneasy. He didn't like being in the dark with important things, it was strange. It made him uncomfortable anytime he thought about the fact Kai was alive and still fighting. It felt like an impending doom, even if he knew they'd win deep down.

Maybe he wasn't quite sure.

Maybe he didn't believe that truly.

"Parrot? Keep walking, dude!" Theo pointed out, waving his hand. Parrot had frozen in thought and Theo was a few meters in front of him now.

Parrot picked up his pace to get back next to Theo. He didn't even realize he had zoned out until Theo snapped him back.

"Yeah, sorry. Thinking."

"When are you not?" Theo teased, and kept walking.

"Keep up, 'Biggest Bird'." Theo joked as he picked up his speed, Parrot tried to keep up with his new pace. Of course Theo was being competitive over speed.

"I'm still the Biggest Bird, Theo!" Parrot called after Theo who was already down the steps.
