Work Text:
Shinsuke Kita
- Total ace at studies, not only I see him among the top of students at his class, but he’d be the one everyone goes for when they have doubts about topic. Shinsuke, being such a sweetheart, he is, he would help them
- His best scores would land on philosophy, math, biology and calligraphy. The first one because he is sick analytical and reflexive, of course he’d land a well-written essay about philosophy, bet my ass he’d read it as a hobby too.
- Math because it’s about formulas, for us, the mortals it can be hard, but Shinsuke has a cup of tea for math, I can see it; and biology being related to the fact that he’s a farmer in the time skip, so he’d be interested in plants, animals and that type of stuff.
- Kita is the type that always does his homework and submits it on time. He has a high sense of responsibility and shows respects to the elderly. Not only that, but his bento is always neat in a clean polished way.
- He’d lightly scold the Miya twins whenever they bomb their exams because he cares about them (even if it doesn’t show much) and doesn’t want them to miss volleyball camps or not being able to go to matches because of their low grades.
- Would always keep his uniform clean and crease-free, he LOVES routine that much.
Aran Ojiro
- He’s the type that would get between 60-80 grades, no more no less. An interesting branch is that he puts effort on studying, and because he does, he has that image of cool senpai.
- His best grades would land on physical education (we all know why), language and ethics. I feel like he’d be good at language because he’s a good communicator, and ethics being the fact that Aran has good morals.
- Would probably study at home, he doesn’t give me the vibe to be easily distracted. On his desk he’d have a cup of green tea.
Suna Rintarou
- This guy barely studies for exams and somehow gets a decent grade, cue on the Miya twins (especially Atsumu) being slightly jealous about it, only for Suna to tease them whenever he gets a higher score.
- He would have thought about cheating in a specific hard exam but just said “nah, too much work” and still get a 74. His grades would be between 50 – 90.
- Suna could be in the top ten students of his grades, but he doesn’t care much about being that tough he’d study hard only to tease Atsumu (which always works).
- I can see him studying with a computer instead the traditional way with notebooks and textbooks, he’s that low maintenance.
- Also, studies at his home, there being cozy with his laptop, sometimes even on his bed/futon whatever he has.
- He wouldn't excel at a specific subject, but he catches the topic and learns fast
Miya Osamu
- This guy eats snacks while studying, 100% canon
- He’d land his bests scores at subjects like philosophy, language and literature since he’s a very introspective type of person.
- Osamu seems like a slightly sleepy type of person, so, before the lecture starts, expect him to yawn at the beginning, but he’d get his shit together.
- His bentos are always filled to the brim yet good-looking, cue on Atsumu trying to steal some of his food only to get his hand slapped away (though he lets him have some sometimes).
- He’d go to study in the library with his brother and get scolded for eating there the first time he goes. Atsumu would TOTALLY tease him about it then call him a fatass.
Atsumu Miya
- Total menace when it comes about studying, gets distracted fast, whines or curses when not getting a topic, gets childishly excited when he finally solves THAT math problem, etc...
- The same problem as Atsumu in the library but it’d happen after Osamu gets scolded so he’s the one being teased now.
- I think he’d excel at P.E, maybe English if he tries and be average at the rest. Not that he’s dumb, but his brain is aimed entirely on volleyball.
- He’d bomb on a math test; Suna would take a photo of it and he’d be roasted by his twin and Suna.
- Would chew his pen/pencil so many times, at the end of the quarter it’d look like a used dog toy.
- At some point Atsumu would get competitive about beating Osamu on the final exams, there, he’d probably lock in land in a good position.
- His scores would land between 40-100, the lowest because of subjects like math, physics and chemistry and the highest when he studies hard.
