The elevator made a weird clonking noise and then it stopped.
“Great,” Janet said, continuously pressing the emergency button that would not respond.
“I’m sure we will be up and running again soon,” Sam said encouragingly.
“Since when did the elevator breaking down mean it would be up and running again soon?” Janet asked with a frustrated sigh.
“You’re right. We’re gonna be here a while. Wanna play a game?” Sam asked.
“A game?” Janet raised an eyebrow.
“Yes, to pass the time. Personally I like I spy,”
“I spy?” Janet’s other eyebrow rose to accompany the first one. “I learn something new about you every day.” Janet smiled,” So tell me, what do you spy?”
“I spy with my little eye… something cute.”
Janet huffed, “the only cute thing I can spy is you,” she smirked.
“Nope, you’re cuter,” Sam said smiling her brightest smile before she leaned in and gave Janet a soft kiss.
Before Janet could respond the elevator stuttered into motion again. “Damn, I was just gonna suggest we play doctor.”
