Tears flooded my eyes as I watched him leave my sight. This wasn’t possible. We were supposed to fulfill our dream of winning the World Cup together. The screen shone, “Nagi Seishiro, #24 ELIMINATED.”
“Nagi…” My voice trembling, I couldn’t bear to my treasure leave. He stopped at the exit mumblings words I couldn’t bear to barely hear, “I’m sorry, Reo.” I stood there, shoulders folding inward, hands pressed tight against my chest like I was holding something that might slip away if I loosened my grip.
I slowly walked up to him before increasing my speed step by step, wanting to stop him, but Chigiri stood in my way, preventing me, “Reo. Leave him.” “Damn it, Chigiri fuck off,” I pushed Chigiri aside but the doors slid closed when I looked back.

I felt unfamiliar emotions as I walked back to the dorm room to pack my things and leave first thing the next day. I couldn’t bear to leave Blue Lock; it was so fun. I stared at my suitcase for a long time before hearing the door slide open, “Nagi!” I turned around to hear Reo calling my name. If this were the last time I would see him, I’d take it.
“Reo…” I was lost for words. “I thought… You were-“ Reo pulled me into a tight hug and sobbed, cutting me off. “Nagi…Please don’t leave me,” Reo’s voice was full of guilt, as if he had done something wrong. I hugged him back one last time. “I’m sorry, Reo.” A tear trickled down my cheek. I looked at him. “No, no, no, you did nothing wrong, my treasure,” Reo looked back at me, a hint of sorrow in his tone. Reo wiped the tears on my face. He didn’t want me to leave, and neither did I.
I lay on his lap, watching a movie, spending my last moments with him, before slowly drifting off to sleep.

Nagi looked so sweet. I was so glad to have him in my life. I stayed still, sitting on Nagi’s bed, on the top bunk. The bottom bunk was Chigiri’s bed. Chigiri was in Kunigami’s dorm since he said he would be late, but he probably stayed there for the night. I switched off Nagi’s laptop, putting it on the nearby bedside table, only moving a bit. Nagi shifted around, adjusting his position.
I lay down on the bed, hugging Nagi tightly as if he would disappear when I woke up. I wrapped my legs around his waist, snuggling into the side of his neck, drifting to sleep.
