“It's all yours.”
Wifies smiled at the thought of Parrot’s voice being the last he’ll ever hear.
As the other backed away, leaving the last fragment of their shattered friendship behind, he ran. He ran with all he could — all the malice in his actions, the remnants of who he could have been, and of course, the twinges of regret and sorrow in his heart, surrounded by a layer of ice.
Wifies nearly dove for the pressure plate in front of him, skidding on his knees with the spyglass clutched desperately to his chest. As the voice of his dear best friend echoed throughout his body, a mass of sparks and heat flared up, setting the world around him ablaze — though his world was already long gone.
With tears flowing down his face and singeing the moment they fall, Wifies smiles; after all, to him, even the suffocating warmth of an explosion is still warmth, as long as the spyglass, and the memory of Parrot he holds just as dear, stay within his grasp.
