"Come on Zan-zan... Just gimme a kiss already!"
Zanka woke up to the sound of her noisy alarm and it was getting on her nerves. She really needed to get a new one. 'Fuckass alarm... Why the hell was I dreaming about that? I haven't spoken to her in ages.'
Yeah, right, "ages." The last time they spoke was three weeks ago. They had a school project together. She even remembers the specific dates. Why?
Well, it's hard to let go sometimes. Especially of someone you used to be so close with. It's hard for her to admit, but Zanka often finds herself thinking about Jabber. Her bright personality, her beautiful smile, her cute makeup...
Oh her makeup. Jabber's gotten so much better at it, and she looks beautiful.
But there are things she hates about the girl. Jabber is very loud, and it gets to a point. She also hates how rude she is for no reason sometimes, and the fact that every time they talk, it's about boys.
But worst of all, she hates those scars on her arms.
She doesn't understand why they're there, and she wishes she did. If she did, she could fix the pain hidden behind, she could kiss all the hurt away, she could give the love and patience needed.
Then, she remembers it's useless to think about what could happen. They're not friends anymore. Jabber has other friends and crushes to think of. So, like every morning, Zanka gets out of bed and gets ready for school.
She leaves her house to take the bus, only to realize she missed it. She'll have to run to school if she doesn't want to be late, and she really doesn't want to.
When she gets to school, she's already tired. The day is already starting to be long. It must be bad luck too, because today is Thursday. Thursdays mean tennis. She puts her things away in her locker with a sigh, and she sees Jabber a few times. She often walks around in the school with one or two her friends, and it just happens to be that Zanka always notices when she passes by.

When Zanka gets back home, she immediately washes and eats in order to get to her bed faster.
When she's finally in her bed, she closes her eyes, and sleeps like a baby.
"What are you waiting for?"
Zanka, in Jabber's arms, looks up at the girl. Her eyes were soft and teasing. Zanka sits up straight, bringing her hand to the other's face.
"You expecting something?" Jabber got red and looked away, whereas Zanka found it adorable.
As she leaned to give a kiss on her cheek, her alarm went off. Zanka was not happy about it. And so, she got out of bed and went to school.
