Kuai Liang:
✧ We’re gonna be working with Yue, who’s his daughter from I Loved You First
✧ Yue is absolutely a mini version of him
✧ Calm eyes, observant, lowkey dramatic when she wants something
✧ He is weak for her, completely, disastrously
✧ He tries to be firm
✧ He truly does
✧ But the second she huffs and her eyes gloss over?
✧ Man is folding like laundry
✧ That said—he still maintains a degree of composure in public
✧He cannot have his daughter running feral
✧ He is physically affectionate
✧ Forehead kisses, carrying her even when she insists she can walk, letting her nap on his chest whenever she wants
✧ Speaks softly to her even when correcting her
✧ If she misbehaves, he kneels to her level and talks to her like she’s a person, not a child
✧ He doesn’t believe in harsh punishment
✧ He believes in conversation, reflection

✧ No more random cuddles
✧ No more “Papa, carry me.”
✧ The first time she says “I’m not a child anymore,” he nods maturely
✧ Then dramatically sulks in private later
✧ Protective but not suffocating
✧ He teaches her how to survive instead of locking her away like most fathers do
✧ If she ever feels insecure?
✧ He reminds her she carries both strength and compassion—and that’s rarer than power
✧ If someone breaks her heart?
✧ He does not overreact
✧ But that poor teenager will feel watched for months
Bi-Han:
✧ Bi-Han isn’t exactly the best with babies
✧ But the first time his child grabs his finger?
✧ He is silently doomed
✧ He is not openly affectionate, it’s not his thing even with his own flesh and blood

✧ He gives them protection, his presence and brutal honesty
✧ It’s not ideal, yeah, but it's the best he can do
✧ On rare occasions, when he thinks no one is looking, he lets his guard down and is quietly affectionate
✧ The faint smile that tugs at his lips in those moments is one you live for
✧ If his kid cries, he stiffens at first but then exhales, kneels down, and wipes their tears away with surprising gentleness
✧ Does not baby-talk. Ever.
✧ He expects discipline early—not the cruelty his father put him through, simply structure, manners, self-control
✧ He is extremely observant, noticing everything
✧ If someone even dares to raises their voice at his child?
✧ The temperature in the room drops to a chilling degree
✧ Secretly keeps small trinkets and gifts they give him
✧ If his child presents as a cryomancer, you can bet he still has the tiny ice figurine they once made for him
✧ He makes sure to preserve it, maintaining and refreshing it when it starts to melt
✧ As a teen, this is where Bi-han shines the best
✧ He respects independence
✧ If they challenge him intellectually? He engages
✧ He trains them harder than anyone else because he believes they can handle it
✧ He does not coddle them
✧ If they sulk in front of him, he will reprimand them
✧ They feel like complaining? He will absolutely give them something real to complain about
✧ He is faintly amused when they give him pleading sulking looks but still continue their training or chores
✧ He isn’t the type to say “I’m proud of you” often

✧ His kids are acting like they won the lottery or something

✧ If he sees them stressing over his reputation or comparing themselves to him, he will speak firmly but gently
