Chapter Text
Donovan sighed, another day of useless school. “Maybe I should’ve dropped out and became a Mcdonald’s cashier. School life..isn’t just for me.”
He shrugged to himself as he kept walking towards the school, absolutely done with the day even tho it hasn’t started yet. He was a transferee, so this week will be difficult trying to fit in; luckily he dosen’t need to fit in. Due to his abnormal body size, he’ll have no problem about masking himself and putting a show on for others just to like him, he can just be his..authentic self.
Walking inside the school, he was bewildered, the school actually had wide hallways to accommodate his size, so he’ll have no problem walking unlike his old school, trying to squeeze in the hallways was always rough. He sighed in relief as he gripped the backpack strap a little tighter. “This..school exceeded my expectations.”
He hummed to himself as he kept exploring the school. He expected the same treatment like from his last school—people looking at him weirdly, the weird tosses of garbage his way and people telling him to eat it up..This school was a breath of fresh air for Donovan.
Donovan strolled around the classes, saying hi to new faces, making friends faster than expected, and a lot more positive things. Although, he did notice a ton of people looking at him weirdly.. It didn’t affect him, being this fat all his life, those weird looks people give him, he simply learned how to ignore it. He looked at the person in front of him, who was currently talking about fictional characters. He wasn’t really keen on this topic since he was more into food, but he didn’t want to seem mean, so he thought of a plan to get away from this weeb.
“Hhheeeyyy, Allyssa right?” He smiled as he tilted his head slightly, his hands resting against his thighs as he just simply stood there.
“And Gojo is like- Oh? Yeah, what’s up?” She said in a respectful tone, compared to how she was speaking earlier, Donovan liked this more.
“Well,” He scratched his neck as he looked nervous, his body language saying not wanting to run away from this conversation. “I have to um..look at the other parts of the school, it’s cool if we just talk again soon, right?”
“..” Lysa’s hands who were completely in the air were suspended, her face turning disappointed before her body stiffened, hands falling down against her thighs as she placed a hand over her hand—her head turning down. *“..Oh.* No, it’s fine.”
It was weird how she withdrew so fast, one second she was gushing over fictional anime men and the next, she’s all gloomy.
“Well,” *God, it was awkward now*, Donovan thought to himself. “I promise to you i’ll listen intently the next time we bump into each other, see you!” He flashed a friendly smile again before turning his back around, walking up to the stairs intending to look at the rooftop.
*”I wonder how the rooftop is…”* He wondered to himself, as he waddled on the small steps, it took quite a while before he got to the top of the school. He was looking at the door, putting one meat hand on the door handle.
He sighed, *”I.. I can do this!” He thought to himself before swinging the door wide open.
He took careful steps, trying to see if the rooftop was stable enough to not fall through the floors, once it was safe, he started walking around. It was refreshing, the fresh air breezing through his face, his uniform finally fit and the buttons not flying off… It was **heaven!!**
Looking around the rooftop, he spotted a guy who seemed like a sheep. He tilted his head slightly as he analyzed the guy, *”He.. Looks fluffy.”* A slight blush creeping up Donovan’s face, *”G-gosh?! What am I thinking?!..”*
He huffed as he walked on the other side of the rooftop, forcing himself to take a seat opposite to where the sheep guy is, not wanting to interact with him… yet. He has to be sure first before claiming an Omega.
He will have to wait and see.
