Chapter Text
"Harry? Are you alright?" said Hermione worriedly.
"Yea mate you look like a concussed flobberworm" Ron jokes.
Harry looked back to see Ginny, Ron, and Hermione near the door of the Room of Requirement, bags slung over their shoulders' looking anxiously at him.
"Do you ever wonder what the future looks like?" Harry asks to no one in particular.
"I mean, doesn't everybody?" Ginny asks back.
Harry contemplates this for a little. Sure, she was right. But others didn't have to worry about their up-and-coming death.
"I know but sometimes I wish I could see that future. It's not like mine's looking very bright." Harry says.
"Harry don't say that-", Hermione is cut off by a deep, rumbling sound.
"What was that?" Ginny asks.
"I don't kn-"
The room shakes and twists until all four teenagers are no longer in Hogwarts but sprawled across a large but cozy living room. There is a large fireplace and pictures adorn the walls. A sofa with a fluffy blanket thrown across it. Mismatched lamps, colorful throw pillows, and candles are scattered throughout. Half unpacked boxes are dispersed around the room. Whoever lives here clearly hasn't finished moving in.
"Where are we?" Ron asks, getting up slowly.
Before anyone can answer, voices are heard from what looks like the kitchen.
"Harry, your best friend has no clue how to pack or label anything."
"I take no responsibility for Ron's poor judgement."
The four look at each other confused. One of the voices was Harry, but who is the other person? Before anyone can say anything, the door separating the kitchen and the living room opens and out walks Harry.
An older, taller Harry. Harry freezes when he sees the younger version of him standing in his living room.
"Ginny... come in here please" Harry calls back.
"What's wrong?" Ginny says, walking into the living room before stopping in her tracks.
"Ok, what the fuck is happening?!" Ron exclaims.
