It’s the end of Spring Break, and you are a new transfer student, arriving at the world famous Françoise Dupont high school, filled with famous kids, which acts as a college: allowing students to pick any classes they like and manage their time as they please. Upon arrival, though, you realize it’s more social than academic. Looking around, you feel a bit overwhelmed, because it’s a little worrying to you that you’re one of the only people not very well known here.
When you arrive, you see Adrien Agreste, a former model and son of the world famous (now deceased) fashion designer Gabriel Agreste, talking to Marinette Dupain-Cheng, the daughter of the owners of the #1 bakery in Paris, Tom & Sabine Boulangerie Patisserie, and Alya Césaire, owner and reporter of The Ladyblog. Utterly terrifying.
They turn to face you. Marinette waves, and walks up to you.
“Are you a new student? My name’s Marinette!”

“Yes, I am! My name’s y/n It’s nice to meet you!” you say.
“Nice to meet you too!” says Marinette. “Where are you headed? I can show you where you need to go!”
“I’m not headed anywhere right now.” you say.
“I can show you around, if you like!”
“Sure!” you say.
By then, Adrien and Alya walk up to you to get a better idea of what you look like
“I’ll meet you guys at lunch, 12:30? I’m gonna show the new kid, y/n, around.” she explains to Adrien and Alya.
“Ooh, can we come too?” Alya asks. “I’d love to meet you!”

“Sorry- I feel a bit overwhelmed already, so I’d like to with just Marinette.” you say.
“Alright.” Alya says. “See you later, then.”
Marinette shows you around campus, which is gigantic for a high school. It’s overwhelmingly big, but has a peaceful undertone to it. By the time you guys finish, it’s almost 12:30.
“Do you wanna sit with me for lunch?” Marinette asks.
“Sure, I’d love to!” you say.
Marinette smiles. “I have just the thing in mind!” she says.
She takes you outside, and you eat by a tree together on a picnic blanket. She gives you some macaroons and pastries she has from her lunch. It’s quite romantic, and it gives you the urge to kiss her.

You lean over to her, and you kiss her. Surprised, Marinette jumps back.
“Please don’t do that!” Marinette says. “I mean- Sorry, I have a boyfriend, and we’ve only just met.”
You try to kiss her again as a way of persuasion, and she puts her hand in the way.
“Just give me a chance!” you say, eagerly.
There’s about 5 awkward minutes until Marinette looks at her phone.
“I have to go.” Marinette says. “I promised my friend I would meet up with them now.”
Before you can say anything, she leaves.
The rest of the day is quite depressing. The feeling of rejection, and losing her as a potential friend. You leave early, and go home. You finish your lunch and watch some videos on your phone.
You hear a knock on the door. You’re hesitant, because both of your parents have the key and can open the door on their own, so you don’t open it. After a minute of silence, the door crumbles to black pieces with a bang. The well-known and loved superhero, Cat Noir, is at the (now broken) door. But his presence doesn’t seem welcoming.
“Knock knock.” Cat Noir says, ominously. “I did knock… Cataclysm.”
He cataclysms your face, and your face partly turns to ash, and falls off of you. There’s some meat and brain left in the back, but your eyes, ears, jaw, and frontal lobe are completely gone. The remains looked like the result of an explosion.
You fall to the ground, already dead. Blood pours everywhere on the floor.

“So, Marinette.” you say. “Do you wanna be friends?”
“Of course!” Marinette responds, writing down something on a piece of paper. “Here’s my number.” She says, holding the paper to you.
You take it, and smile.
“I have to go now, though.” Marinette says. “But I can walk you to your next class!”
“Alright.” you say.
So she does, and you spend the rest of the day thinking of Marinette, with a smile on your face. She was so beautiful, and very kind to you. You go to bed thinking of her, and you dream of her that night. You have a crush on her.

“Sure!” you say.
“Then what are we waiting for?” asks Alya. “Let’s go!”
Marinette, Adrien, and Alya show you around campus, which is gigantic for a high school. It’s overwhelmingly big, but has a peaceful undertone to it. You guys are now sitting together, at a lunch table outside. Marinette’s eating pastries, likely made by her parent’s bakery, Alya’s having a homemade soup, and Adrien’s not eating. You’re eating school lunch.
“So, why’re you here?” Adrien asks. “I mean- what do you wanna pursue?”
“Something along the lines of a cop or a firefighter. Someone who protects the city.” you reply.
Marinette looks at you.
“That’s a great idea!” Marinette says. “Can we exchange phone numbers, by the way? Before I forget. Let’s be friends!”
“Sure.” you say. And so you do.
The day ends great. You spent more of your time meeting people than practicing anything, but it was really fun and exciting. You go to sleep smiling.

You walk over to Felix Fathom, son of deceased billionaire and war lord Colt Fathom, who’s playing chess against Markov.
“Hi.” you say.
“Do I know you?” Felix asks.
“My name’s y/n, so now you do.”
“Okay, cool. Bye.” Felix says.
“Wanna be friends?” you ask
“No.” Felix replies, and resumes playing chess.
There’s about 5 seconds of awkward staring (on your part).
“I like your ring.” you say. “Where’d you get it?”
“I got it from my father.” Felix replies. Just as he says it, Markov moves his piece.
“Stalemate.” Markov says.
“Can I play a round with you, Felix?” you ask.
“... Fine.” Felix says.
You lose terribly. However, you try to be polite about it. You and Felix play 2 more games, and he wins both times. Playing chess with him has made you realize he’s very cold and boring.

“Can I sit with you for lunch?” you ask.
“Fine.” Felix responds.
You sit in the library and eat school lunch. Felix just sits there, reading a book about psychology.
“Do you sit with anyone else?” you ask.
“Kagami. But she’s sitting with her friends today.” Felix replies, not looking up from his book. It’s about 5 minutes more of awkward silence.
“I think you’d be better off with a more talkative person.” Felix speaks up. “I know just the person.”
“You do?” you ask.
“Her name’s Cerise.” Felix says. “She’s more on your level.”
What’s that supposed to mean? You think.
“Sure. Can you introduce me to her?” you ask.
“Let me finish my book.” Felix says.
Eventually, he introduces you to Cerise, who’s painting in class. The painting is of the superhero Ladybug. She notices you, and walks over to you.
“Hi!” she says. “My name is Cerise.”
“My name’s y/n.” you respond.
“It’s nice to meet you, y/n!” she says.
“I love your painting.” you say, looking at the painting of Ladybug.
“Thank you!.” Cerise replies. “Ladybug is my favorite superhero.”
“I’ll leave you two to talk.” Felix speaks up. “Bye.” He leaves as said.
“Who’s your favorite superhero?” Cerise asks.
“I’d say mine is Ladybug, too!” you respond.
“I’m just about done with my painting!” She says. “Wanna sit with me?”
“Sure!” you reply.
You sit down with her at lunch, and talk about superheroes the entire time. Cerise asks about your other interests, too.
“I would love to be a firefighter, or a police officer when I’m older!” you say.
“Oh, really?” Cerise asks. “Me too!”

You walk over to Kagami Tsurugi, daughter of the founder and owner of Tsurugi Industries. She’s currently fencing, and you wait for her match to end.
“Hi.” you say, when she finishes.
“Hello.” Kagami replies. “Are you new here?”
“Yes. I was hoping you could show me around?” you ask.
“Sure.” Kagami replies.
While on the tour, Kagami listens to you talk about yourself, because she didn't wanna talk about herself. Afterwards, Kagami invites you to sit with her and her friends at lunch. You sit next to her on one side, and Marinette sits next to her other side. Everything seems to be going pretty well.
“Do you wanna watch the new Ladybug & Cat Noir movie tonight?” Rose asked everyone. “I bought it just recently.”
“Sure.” Marinette replies. “I haven’t seen it yet.”
Everybody else nods, smiles, and then turns to you.
“What about you…?” Asks Rose.
“Oh, my name’s y/n, and-” you say.

“I’m not so sure.” Marinette says. “We don’t really know you.”

“That’s okay!” Rose replies. “We can always hang out another time!”

“Hi!” you say to Adrien. “I’m y/n!”
Adrien frowns.
Did I do something wrong? you think.
“I just saw what you did, and it’s wrong. If you wanted to be friends with me, you should’ve never thought about being rude to Marinette. I can’t make that mistake again…” Adrien says.
You tried making friends with anyone else, but because you were rude to Marinette, and Adrien didn’t like you, nobody else would be friends with you. You spent the school year alone and depressed. You asked your mom to let you transfer, which she did.
