The darkness is what every mortal feared. You never know what could be in the dark. Behind you, beside you, malevolent.. waiting to strike..
He knew that he could harness anything, so why not the darkness? Many would fear the wielder. The darkness is terrifying, after all.
He harnessed the darkness from the world and made the earth almost as bright and hot as the surface of the sun. Now the world isn't scary, which isn't what Telamon was going for. Darkness will be theirs again soon, Telamon doesn't want it.
