The Rentarou family were at the rooftop, as it was lunchtime. Some were eating, Kurumi was an example of that. Some were playing, Kusuri was an example of that (Pentarou make believe with Yaku). Some were lazing around, Tama was the only example I could think of…maybe Uto, idk.
Most importantly, Usa-chan was teaching Kimari some friend things, not that she was the expert or anything. The rabbit motif girl ended up playing patty cake with Kimari for most of the lunch break. Perhaps they should’ve used the time to actually eat lunch, but Kimari looked very happy (and cute) doing it so Usa-chan didn’t stop at all.
Is it called patty cake or pat a cake? I hear both ngl.
Another day, another lunchtime. This time, Usa-chan read a trendy magazine with Kimari. Ahko borrowed Hasuha’s magnifying glass to look at the absolute gems of trendy stuff in the magazine (Absolute cinema). Usa-chan and Kimari were sitting next to each other, shoulder to shoulder. And Kimari smiled when Usa-chan smiled, the rabbit girl got excited when she saw a page with a lot of clustered plushies.
Another day, another lunchtime. This time, Usa-chan hugged Kimari for no particular reason. Can’t a friend just hug another friend? Kimari very awkwardly hugged back (AHH SHES SO SHY AND CUTE IM GONNA DIE), which made Usa-chan happy. It was a loop, Usa-chan would make the hug tighter, Kimari would squeeze back once she felt comfortable enough, which out make Usa-chan tighten the hug even more.
At some point, Kogoe joined the hug because it made the cold girl feel warmer. And since Meme was friends with Kogoe, the girl with bangs timidly joined in too. And because a certain girl with a love for beauty so happened to see Meme, she joined in as well, naturally~! And because- you get the point. It ended up with the 36 girls hugging like penguins (Pentarou?🤨), and the love monster himself stretching his arms to wrap around from the outside. Beautiful, ain’t it? Lots of ladies, like a bouquet of flowers, with Usa-chan and Kimari in the middle.
Wow, now that I think about it, it really is like a web of friendships. Maybe I’ll write more if I get motivation.
