A Star.
That was the first thing Arcturus remembers from his childhood, and that Ghost of course.
It was the night of the 27th December, Arcturus just turned eleven and he was sitting on his bed with a greek mythology book on his lap, his blanket wrapped around him and a stuffed Dolphin between he's crossed legs.
The ghostly figure of Regulus leaned over him, his curly hair Messy over his head and slightly covering his Eyes
"The Odyssey, Hm? Not a bad choice" Regulus muttered.
Arcturus smiled and looked at Regulus
"Thanks, Reggie" the young boy replied before yawning
Regulus smiled back and chuckled softly at the young boys yawn
"Go to sleep, dear, it's already past your bedtime"
Arcturus put the bookmark on the page he was on before laying the book down on his nightstand and laying down in his bed, wrapping his blanket tightly around him and hugging his plush to his chest
Regulus had a fond look on his face as he watched the young boy lay down, he moved over to the door of the room and shut the light off so Arcturus could sleep peacefully
"Good night, Little Star.." Regulus muttered under his breath, sitting down on the comfortable chair next to the boys bed
"Night, Papa..." Arcturus muttered back, already half asleep in his bed, as he was assured His 'Guardian angel' as he'd call Regulus, would watch over him as he slept
★The Next Morning★
Arcturus woke up in his bed, with his plush against his side and blanket over him
He sat up in his bed, glancing at the room around him but unable to spot Regulus anywhere
He let out a soft disappointed sigh and stood up, putting on his house slippers and making his way downstairs to his family
His parents were already up, unsurprising due to the fact they had a 3 year old to take care off alongside Arcturus
His mother was sitting on the couch, playing with Arcturus' younger brother, she looked up when Arcturus entered the room and smiled "morning, sweetie" she said
"Morning, Ma" Arcturus replied and sat down next to her, leaning against her side "have you seen Regulus?"
"Who? Sweetie, we told you to stop with that 'ghost' stuff, they aren't real" His mother said, looking disappointed
Arcturus looked down "right, yeah.." he muttered as he stood back up, making his way to the kitchen where he saw Regulus sitting at the table, seemingly waiting for Arcturus
"Reggie? What's going on?" Arcturus asked, the sleep lifting off his voice
Regulus stayed silent, he gestured down to the Letter on the Table, which Arcturus picked up, it was Addressed to Sarah Star.
Hey wait, that was Arcturus's name!
The young boy opened the letter, seeing it was from a place called 'hogwad'? 'hogwarts'? Yeah, that one was right
"Ma! What's with the letter?" Arcturus called out to his mother
"Oh! It's your new school! You're going there next year!"
