It started off as a good day.
The Star Sanses won against the Bad Sanses, saving an AU from destruction. Dream celebrated the victory with Swap and Ink in Underswap, laughing and chattering at their achievement. Ink had to leave not long after, but Swap and him continued their celebration until Dream had to go home.
Home…
Could Dream really call the Star Sanses' base a "home"?
He suppose he could, given the fact that his friends tend to hang around there.
Even if said friends only came here for missions and such…
Most of the time, it would just be… his house because of how lonely it gets…
.
.
.
It was supposed to end in a good note that night, especially after the celebration.
Dream was preparing to head to bed, removing his shirt when he heard a knock at his bedroom door. 'Odd… are the others staying the night?' He wondered to himself with a wince as the door opened.
'Dreammyyyyyy~'
The voice of his 'friend' came through, and he tensed, turning around to find Ink walking into his room.
'I-Ink??' He got his shirt to put on top of himself. 'Wh-What are you-'
He was interrupted with a pair of lips on his own. His eyes widened, and he pushed Ink back.
'Ink, why would you-'
'Shhhh…' A finger was placed on his lips, and his 'friend' only smirked. 'I love you, my Dreammyyyy…' He opened his eyes to reveal pink and red shaped eyelights in each of his eyes. 'I want you… to be MINE!'
Dream was thrown to the bed. He tried to to escape but thread-like ink wrapped around him, holding him down. He struggled to get out, eyes tearing as his 'friend' towered over him.
'P-Please, Ink… d-don't!' he pleaded, not knowing what else to do. He could tell the other was under the influence of his pink vial, but why? How did that even happen? And why was he here, at his room to get it out of his system?? 'I… I don't want this!'
'But I do!' Ink pinned him to the bed with both arms, giggling maniacally. 'Now hold still, Dreamy~'
Dream prayed to whatever deity out there to save him, but alas, he knew his fate was sealed when Ink turned off the lights.
.
.
.
Ink didn't remember what he did.
Dream couldn't fault him for that, he was under an influence after all.
But that didn't change the fact that it hurt.
Dream was hurt the next morning, and all Ink could do was… say sorry.
'Ohhhh, I did that?' Ink grinned, trying to look guilty. 'Oops, sorry.'
And that was it.
That was the only apology Dream got.
Dream felt like crying.
Ink didn't care.
He never cared.
Dream wished he was dead.
.
.
.
Dream wanted to throw up.
He didn't know what to expect after a week since… Ink hurt him, but it certainly wasn't this.
Pregnant.
I was pregnant.
The bright ball of fiery energy sat in his hand, sleeping peacefully as if Dream didn't just spent three hours releasing it from his body. He stared at it, mind conflicted on what to do next.
I should let it die.
I need to give it's own body.
It doesn't deserve to live.
It doesn't deserve to die.
I need to tell Ink-
.
No.
Dream didn't want Ink involved in this. He has hurt him enough, who knows if Ink would steal the baby and influence him to be just like him?
No, Dream couldn't take that risk.
He wouldn't let Ink know about the child.
That's his baby.
His and his only.
.
.
.
Dream managed to give the baby a body before he could die (Apparently, it was a baby boy), and now Dream was holding a skele-baby swaddled in a rainbow blanket.
'My sweet baby...'
Dream held him to his chest and kissed his cheek gently. He smiled and tilted his head.
'In that blanket, you look like a painter's palette, my little one…'
The skele-baby giggled and, despite the swaddle, reached out to touch his face. Dream tilted his head.
'Oh? You like that name, little one? Palette?'
The skele-baby giggled some more, taking out another hand to clap and hold Dream's face. Dream laughed and kissed each hand.
'Palette it is… welcome to the world, little Palette.'
