Everyone knew the vice housewarden of Octavinelle. Many people knew that he was lying and scheming too. But almost no one knew how most of his time was spent with his lover, Silver.
Jade and Silver didn’t make their relationship that public, but they didn’t keep it a secret. They just didn’t go around advertising it.
While Jade was walking around the court yard, his steps came to a halt as he saw shining white hair underneath the tree. As he drew closer he made out the sleeping face of his dear boyfriend.
Jade stopped in front of his lover and simply admired him for a moment. The way his chest moved as he breathed, the slight flush to his cheeks, and how his lips were parted just a little bit. Jade wondered how could anyone be so beautiful?
Jade laid down beside Silver and held him close.
Hours passed by and the sun began to set. Jade was just close enough to sleep himself when he felt Silver wake up slowly.
“Darling…” Jade murmured to him. Silvers eyes fluttered open and smiled softly as he saw Jade holding him.
“Hello, love…” Silver said, his voice still raspy after sleep. “Did we fall asleep like this?”
“You fell asleep darling. I found you like this and you looked absolutely adorable so I decided it was a perfect opportunity to hold my darling close.”
Silver sighed and rubbed his eyes. “I hadn’t meant to fall asleep… I meant to do some assignments today.”
Jade leaned down and kissed his forehead, “Well, my dear, it just so happens we have almost all the same classes, so I can help you out.”
Silver smiled as he kissed his boyfriend’s cheek back. “Thank you my love.”
Their lips met in the middle for a slow and tender kiss. When they pulled back and they got up together. They walked hand in hand to Diasomnia dorm.
That night they spent their time studying, finishing up old assignments, and maybe just a little bit more than that.
