At Saturday practice, Kuroo noticed that lev has been yawning a lot and rubbing his eyes “Lev-kun have you been sleeping well or at all recently?” Asked Kuroo half heartedly in which it causes the giant to walk over to his captain as he notices the heavy eye bags under his eyes. “Hey lev, you doing ok?” Kuroo asks genuinely concerned for the tall Russian.
”No, I’m sorry, I was just Add a photo shoot that lasted much much longer than normal.” Lev explains groaning while rubbing his eyes. Peaked by curiosity, and definitely not concerned for the younger, kuroo asks “how much longer?” Kuroo thinks that it couldn’t be much longer than normal, maybe just an hour or 2-“I finished 4 hours ago.” Lev says. (I think that weekend practice is in the morning like weekday practices)
”What!” Kuroo exclaims, absolutely shocked that a model company would keep their model overnight for a photo shoot. Not realizing that his yell caught the attention of all their other teammates curiosity, they all asked why he yelled.
After that, it became a return for the Nema team to let Lev sleep for the first bit of Saturday practice and only that; nothing more, nothing less….
They ended up just letting Lev sleep until he wakes up after a particularly long model gig. One Saturday, kuroo called for everyone to gather around.
”Alright guys, so I have gathered you today for a very sp-“
”Cut to the chase kuroo, if it is so important than cut the shit.” Lectures yaku.
”So mean demon-senpai but fine, we are getting a manager for our team.” Kuroo explains to the team.
”I hope it’s a girl like the Karusuno team has!” Yamamoto yells but is quickly shushed by the team for almost waking up lev who stirs at the loud noise. ”oh shit sorry”
”always love the the enthusiasm but it’s a boy, he’s a first year as well and he’s here right now-“ kuroo about to bring in the new team member but is interrupted by one of the new first years, Yūki shibayama who asks, ”kuroo-San, shouldn’t we wake up lev-Chan, so he also knows that we are getting a manager?”
Kuroo makes a thinking face ”it’s alright Shibayama-kun, we can tell him later, I’ll bring him in now” kuroo says stepping over Lev who is just laying on the floor, head resting on his jacket walking towards the door.
as the Nekoma team quietly talks among themselves, waiting on their captain to bring in their new manager. ”Alright team, this is Alex he will be joining us this year.”
“Welcome to our team.” Everyone said Bowing, after introducing everyone Yaku was last “hello, my name is Yaku, I am a third year. I play as a libero; it is nice to meet you.”
