Work Text:
Solar had been cleaning up the classroom, humming along softly to the playlist playing from your phone. You had wandered off at some point, though he didn’t mind as it let him collect his thoughts that had been scattered during the day and from every encounter with you.
He was organizing papers along his desk when his rays wiggled at a small shuffling noise just outside. He popped his head out, violet eyes scanning the room before noticing the bathroom door just slightly open, which piqued his curiosity. You never left the door open…
A sudden thought flashed through his mind, making him panic and race over to the door. He stuck his head in, his rays shrunk close to his head as he expected to find you on the floor unconscious or having some sort of medical emergency-
Instead of finding you in a precarious situation, he found himself in one.
Heat flashed across his face, and his eyes went wide as he spotted you with your back to the door, humming some song under your breath. You had something draped over your arms- your shirt, he was guessing, as a tank top-like article was pressed against your skin instead, showing off your back muscles and far too much skin for him to not feel something.
Oh good heavens.
He squeaked softly, growing hotter as you finally turned around and spotted him peeking inside, and he desperately wished the floor would open up and swallow him as you stared him down with that soft but unreadable expression.
He stumbled back as you stepped forward, an apology fumbling on his lips as he tripped over himself and fell to the floor, his back against the wall. His breath caught as you stepped out of the bathroom, his eyes impossibly wide as he tried not to just take you in.
He hadn’t even noticed you stepping forward until a hand rested against the wall by his head, just barely brushing against his rays and making them twitch before shrinking into his head. He let out another strained squeak, his face and even the tips of his rays burning as he watched you lean down in front of him, a sly, lopsided smile on your face. “I didn’t take you for a peeper, Sol.”
He immediately went to apologize, but it caught in his throat as you took his chin, tilting it up as you stood straight. You towered over him currently, and it was doing things to him that made him burn even hotter.
Stars, if this kept up, he’d either combust or fall apart, and he wasn’t sure which was better.
He then heard you chuckle, focusing on your face again as you leaned closer. He could feel your breath on his face, and he was positive you could feel the heat emanating off of him. “I thought you knew better.”
“I-I-!” His voice was strained as he stared up at you, trying to parse your expression out before he slowly dropped his gaze to your chest, taking in the subtle muscles and beautiful skin he rarely got to see as you always had your uniform on.
His fails to speak fell quiet, and you stood upright, arms crossed as you looked him over while he examined you. He grew tense under your scrutiny, his gaze snapping back to your face as he shrunk against the wall.
He’d been caught, and stars knows what you were going to do.
After a short time, you shifted, and he focused on you again, watching you shake your head with a quiet chuckle. “What am I gonna do with you.”
He flinched as you leaned down again, his eyes shutting tightly before he felt a gentle heat on his face. He looked up to see you pressing your head against his, a tender, almost intimate gesture to him, but you did it like it was normal.
You focused on him, your eyes so soft as you looked at him and smiled. “You don’t have to sneak around, Sol. Not with me.”
You then stood back up, turning back to the bathroom with a quiet hum. “Don’t peek anymore, or I’ll have to actually do something as punishment.”
You disappeared back into the bathroom, and he melted against the floor, whining softly as he felt like he was going to burst into flames.
Noted. No more peeking...
