What a lovely day! The lights in the lobby were bright, toons were hanging out, the sun was shining, what a lovely day! Razzle skipped through the lobby, Dazzle letting his faster sister do the walking for the day. Plus, he was saving his energy for bookclub later today.
An idea popped into Razzles mind as he passed by a certain flowers shop.
“Ooh! Dandy!!~” Razzle cheered, skipping over to the shops desk and leaning onto it. “You home?”
“(He could be out on a run… depending on how fast todays group goes…)” Dazzle was sure to add on. He was unfortunately quite pessimistic, opposite to his sisters optimism.
“Mmmm, I think they still got an hour before its scheduled?” Razzle hummed, rolling around so her back was against the shops counter. Dazzle shrugged.
A loud, distant clanking of familiarly loud footsteps on carpet could be heard, Razzles ribbon neck snapping in the direction, a giant smile plastered on the comedy masks face as she ran towards the green tv
“VEEEEEEE!!!” Razzle yelled in excitement as she practically leaped into Vees arms, her own arms wrapped around the metal shoulders of one of her many girlfriends.
“Razzle, Dazzle! How are the both of you?” Vees robotic voice spoke, it was quite monotone, but care could be found behind it if you searched hard enough.
“(Good i guess… i get to go to bookclub in 2 hours so that’ll be fun.” Dazzle hummed. He made sure to keep his face farther from the screen while Razzle was nuzzling against it like it was the last thing she would ever touch.
“IM DOING AMAZING!! I was gonna visit Dandy, but now I have you!!”
“mmm. dandy. wonderful.” Vee grimaced, oh how she HATED that flower- AND HE WAS DATING 2 GIRLS! ONE OF THEM WAS HER GIRLFRIEND!.. yes she has like, 6, but thats not related to this. “Well, how about you hang out with the much cooler gameshow host, instead of that boring shopkeeper-“
just then, an agitating, grating voice spoke up from beyond the shop counter. Too cheerful and forced-main-character for Vees liking.
“Oh why HELLO you two!… er, three… i guess.” Dandy forcibly smiled, oh my founders not that FFFfffreaking TV. She was always trying to steal his spotlight!! And now she was trying to steal his GIRLFRIEND (and dazzle)???? The AUDACITY.
“Dandy!!” Razzle smiled, turning around and grabbing Vees hand to drag her over to her least favourite person ever. Once they were over at the flowers shop, Razzle reached over the desk to hug Dandy tightly, one leg in the air because Razzle is incredibly whimsical. “Ohhhhhh its so good to see you!!”
“(hey Dandy.)”
Dandy giggled, stopping mid hug to stare daggers at Vee before returning to giggling and smiling with Razzle (and Dazzles) hug. Pulling back with a smaller, but still quite happy grin.
“I hope you two are doing great!!.. why is Vee here.” Dandy tried his best not to frown. He really just wanted to drag the twin masks back and binge old videos with them, but NOOOOO Vee version fucking 1 was here.
“Oh! While we were waiting for you, Vee came along and we hung out for a bit!” Razzle smiled.
“(Well, not for very long… Dandy was quite quick to come out of his shop.)” Dazzle added.
Vee had a STUPID cocky grin on her face as she snuck next to the twins, putting a metallic hand on their shoulder and pulling them close.
“Maybe you three could hang out later, I think I want to discuss quiz questions for my next gameshow with them!” Oh my god Dandy wanted to kill her SO BAD.
Forcing a grin, the flower leaned over the counter, having to look up at Vee, red dots were barely visible within his pitch dark eyes.
“I think theyd rather watch a bunch of videos they starred in with me.” He gripped the counter.
“Well, my fun allows them to give me suggestions about topics THEY know about.
“Okay- well the episodes theyre in are some of the best- and quite well animated, might I add VEE. And YOU already know everything! Im sureeee your code knows enough about the beauty of musicals..”
Poor Razzle and Dazzle had to awkwardly sit there as Razzles partners bickered. Maybe they should have hung out with Scraps or Shelly.
“(Uh, theyre arguing again…)” “I can tell. I dont like it when they do it..” “(Everytime…)”
Razzle huffed, feeling less happy as she watched the arguing continue. Any moment now and they would be pulling on eachothers antenna and petals respectively.
Razzle walked away towards the elevators. Yeah no, not doing this.
Quickly realizing their girlfriend (and dazzle) were walking away, Dandy hopped over his counter and ran with Vee to catch up.
“Razzle! Im so sorry, its a force of habit!!”
“Yeah! Not my fault he is incredibly puntable!”
Catching up to the twin masks, Dandy was hunched over catching his breath while Vee glared at him, quickly shifting her attention to Razzle (and Dazzle).
“Im sorry about that, you know as well as anyone that me and Dandy go together worse than fire and water…”
“Yeah… huff, and youre the fire…” Dandy muttered, taking one more deep breath before fixing his posture to look at the twins.
Vee smacked his back with her tail, taking a step towards the two.
“Listen-“
“No! I dont feel like talking to you both!” Razzle frowned for the first time in her life, crossing her arms and tilting her head away in a dramatic spite.
“(Neither do I. I suppose.)” Dazzle supported his sister.
“W-what!? Cmon Razz, im sorry! Vee probably isnt, but I am!”
“Hey! Im sorry too, i bet youre the one lying here…”
aaand here we go again. They started fighting again.
Razzle frowned, showing sad expression that would normally be found on her brothers face, she hated when her eyes felt watery.
Dazzle noticed this, thinking quickly before whispering into where his sisters ears wouldve been if they were human. Razzles face lit up, giggling before clearing her throat to redirect the attention from Dandy attempting to choke Vee. to no avail.
“Ahem! I- well, we have a proposition!” Razzle put her hands on her hips, trying to appear as authoritative as possible.
“Oh my founders- yes, my dearest?”
“Please tell me youre dumping him.”
Dazzle stroke a quick glare at Vee, letting his sister speak.
“Well, if you two get upset at one-on-one time with me, how about we all hang out? All four of us!!” Razzle clapped her hands together
“(And if you decline, you guys will have to reschedule your hangouts.)” Dazzle added.
Vee and Dandy stared, wide eyed, slowly looking at eachother before looking at the twins. They were genuinely debating this. I mean, hanging out with Razzle (and Dazzle) is awesome!… But with that flower/TV?? Hmmm…
Dandy, taking up his main-character-has-to-be-good-and-always-right persona from when Gardenview was open, smiled. A slightly forced smile, but a smile nonetheless.
“Weeell, I think thats a… wonderful… idea…” Dandy glared at Vee, taking a breath and remembering that Razzle would be very upset with him if he tackled Vee at that moment.
Vee frowned, the words almost incompatible with her voice box.
“i’ll.. accept this… invitation… hrrr..” Every word she spoke had a long and angry pause inbetween. She prayed to whatever god there was that someone would shoot Dandy down at that moment so she could have Razzle all to herself.
“Great!! Lets hang out in the library, that way Dazzle can be closeby to bookclub!!” Razzle cheered, jumping up and down while clapping. Dazzle smiled softly at her thoughtfulness.
Grabbing the main and lethals hands, Razzle dragged them backward into the conveniently open elevator, laughing as she went and speeding to spam the button for the librarys floor once inside.
“Wowie, im so used to being in the shop part of the elevator! Being here gives me a WHOLE lot more perspective!” Dandy hummed, looking around the boringly familiar elevator.
“Yeah because you dont do-“ Vee paused her insult as Dazzle glared at her. “… nevermind”
“What were you saying?~” Dandy giggled, purposely trying to get a rise out of her. Also stopping when Dazzle looked like he was going to turn him into a was. “yeah nevermind.”
Razzle was bouncing on her feet, oh what fun! Its what, still an hour til Dazzle has to go to bookclub? That means a whole hour to spend with some of her partners!! Huzzah!
“Ya know Dazzle, this was a great idea! Now, we all get to have fun!” Razzle smiled, head turned to her brother.
“(Of course, youre my sister, I know youd do the same..)” Dazzle smiled ever so slightly.
“Hehe, I would! Thats what twins do, we look out for eachother, huh!”
The elevator opened to the library, Razzle running out to the comic book section, much to Dazzles dismay.
Dandy sighed, glancing back at Vee before following behind Razzle, Vee following slowly trailing behind them. The clanking of her metal feet letting everyone on the floor know she was there.
The twin masks plopped down on a pillow, Razzle having grabbed a comic of a popular superhero, Dazzle felt personally attacked. Yes, his sister can appreciate a good and real book every now and then, but she was still an avid comic reader.
“Whats this one about?” Dandy asked, sitting cross-legged on Razzles side, his head leaned sideward to look at the pages. A heavy thump to the right signaled Vees arrival.
“Well its a super cool superhero, doing superhero things!!” Razzle smiled
“(Its spider-man.)”
Vee noted that down, mentally searching up many things about Spider-Man in her personal search engine.
“Hm, there seem to be many popular comics that belong to that one.” Vee noted, switching her vision from the browser to the comics pages.
“Mhm! Its super good, he has spider senses and stuff.” The comedy mask giggled, flipping through the pages and skipping some of the dialogue boxes that were too long.
For the next hour, thats how they all sat. Occasional gossip while Razzle went through like 15 comics. Dandy and Vee could finally be within 15 feet of the other without arguing, Dazzle was patiently awaiting the glory of bookclub.
The elevator opened with a ding, Dazzle titling his head up while Razzle was still engroved with the book. A familiar moon man slowly trudged through the library, immediately taking of the twin masks, and Dandy and Vee somehow not mauling eachother.
“Ah, Razzle, Dazzle, Vee, Dandy, good seeing you all.. Uh, bookclubs starting soon. Brightneys already here.” The four mentioned toons waved to Astro, Dandy was a bit more energetic considering that was his best friend!! yay!
“Oh, alrighty! Well, this was fun. See you two later!” Razzle chimed, setting her books back from where she found them before slowly following behind Astro while stretching. She had her time, now it was time for Dazzle to have his! Waving goodbye to her partners as they walked to where bookclub meetings were held.
“…”
“…”
Vee punched Dandy hard in the stomach before sprinting to the elevator like her life depended on it.
