my company is failing…hard. My old boss quit and left to go marry some minion obsessed bitch.
All of my “friends” at work were fed up with the shit that was happening at work. All of us having to work over time until the new boss comes in.
“God I can’t believe I’m still going to work” I whisper to myself as pull on the doors to the office building.
But of course I forgot it was a push door. And as I pull on it I bang my head on it.
“Oww!!” I scream more high pitched than acceptable for a woman my age. I hold my head in my hands. I’m about to open the door again, the right way this time.
Suddenly, a woman open the door in front of me. I look up at her in awe. “Are you going to go in” she says snapping me out of my daze realizing she was holing the door for me. “Oh thank you” I hurried inside the building.
I watch the woman follow after me into the building. “Please let her be on my floor” I pray in my head. I’m halfway into the elevator when she gets in with me.
I glance over her body before going to hit the button for my floor. She looks over at me or maybe at the buttons whatever..“same floor” she almost whispers.
“Ohh yeah…” I stand near the back of the elevator. “So do you…ahhh…do you work here” I glance up at her, blush slightly on my face.
“Yeah. I got a new job here” she says fixing her hair in the reflection of the elevator wall.
I look over at her talking a good look at her outfit.
She was wearing some black suit pants that fit well. A blue button up shirt that was dark enough to match the pants and some flats.
Her brown hair was in a tight braid that she had around her shoulder. God she looked good…
I caught myself staring at her ass her a bit too long. She turned around and faced the front of the elevator. Which threw me off, I pretended to fix my hair hoping it would cover up my blushing.
We finally got off the elevator and headed onto our floor. “So wh-” I was abruptly cut off my a scream from a pink haired fern.
“FUCK YOU!!!” he jumped out the window. i ran over to the window and so did all the others.
Surprisingly he was walking just fine after to knows where but who really care.
After the fact we return back our normal business. I look over to see the new girl still looking out the window.
“That happens all most every week” I say from behind her. “what…” she looks at me.
Ohh I guess she is new here. “It just kinda happens…idk”
I lead her over to the middle of the room.
“Ahh I don’t think I ever caught your name” I look up at her.
“Ahh right..” she says still dazed form the event prior ”my name is Cecelia”
C-e-c-e-l-i-a. God what a pretty name. “My names Yvette”
“Yvette… I like that name” I swear my heart stops. The starts spinning faster and the music gets louder.
Romantic petals start falling around me. I lean in closer, slowly beginning to close my eyes.
“Why are there flowers everywhere” she says flicking the petals off her shoulder.
The music abruptly stops. I lean back and glance over at Choerry and Seulgi who had stopped there duet, and vivi who stopped masterfully playing the organ.
I sigh “right well.. welcome to office, Cecelia” I wink at her.
