The Cold Reunites Us All.

Summary:

Everything goes a bit south as winter settles, because vampires don't do well in the cold.

They start planning instead of fighting.
Communication is an important skill.

Probably goning to become one 70 chapter long MONSTORSITY, of multiple character Arc's and ships

Notes:

English isn't my first language, so grammactical errors will be made.

Chapter Text

"Um, so maybe like a couple more of these." "Alright yeah, I can get to that" "Another thing" "Ofcourse"

"You really think you can get away with lying to me?" Scott said. "Uh, sorry." "I was there when you told them about the base down at the lake, I was there when you told them to leave you a note" "I'm sorry"

"No, I don't think sorry is going to work" Scott said as he grabbed Pyro by the throat, claws sinking into his skin, "And then you lied to me up there, when I asked 'Is this a secret place for us'". Blood started dripping down Pyro's neck as Scott's claws dug deeper into his pale skin "I'm sorry, Sire" Pyro cried out. "No sorry isn't going to cut it."

Scott then released Pyro from his grip, stepping over Pyro and walking out of the crypt. Pyro sat on the crypt floor for a while before digging his way out of Crypt into the cold november air. Shakily he walked over the bridge and into the forest.

After a bit of walking he sat down below a tree. Wrapping his arms around himself to try and control his shaking. He prayed to whatever would listen that nobody would find the blood trail he'd left behind, or think it was an animal.

Legs, Cleo and Pearl were walking back to town, when Legundo spotted Pyro. "Stop, Are you okay?". Pyro didn't dare try talking to them, if Scott was watching it would just get him in more trouble. "Doc, let's just go back to town," Cleo suggested. As he looked back at the group to see if he could run, Legundo, with his surprisingly good eyesight, spotted the thin puncture wounds along his neck. Also catching sight of his face in the process the doc's suspicion was replaced with worry "Pyro, who did that to you?" Pyro quickly covered his neck with one of his hands, moving away from their sight. "You can talk to us Pyro" the doc tried again.

Pyro decided, if his Sire was already mad, he couldn't get angrier. He slowly stood up facing towards the townsfolk. He could feel their eyes on him as their concern turned to shock.

He was still shaking, the adrenaline and fear of the whole confrontation losing its effects as blood loss started to take their place. "Pyro..." Cleo asked "Who did that to you?". There was anger in her voice, anger he had never noticed before in his fledgling. "Scott..." he whispered, as Legundo approached they took out a clean piece of cloth, "Let's clean your wounds a bit and then head back to town", "I don't doc, is it truly safe for him there?" Pearl asked "I'm all for him in town, he's not dangerous, but I think Ren would try and murder him as soon as we step into town" "We'll see" The doc replied. Legundo squatted down next to Pyro, pressing the cloth onto the wounds. Pyro flinched when the cloth made contact with his wounds but he didn't dare make eye contact with the doc. "Pyro, can you hold this against your neck, i'll help you stand" Legundo said, as the cloth was transferred from one hand to the other and the doc helped Pyro stand.

Pyro leaned heavily on the man, not having the energy to support himself. Cleo moved herself to Pyro's other side putting a hand around her sire's waist to support him further. "Pearl, lead the way," Cleo declared.

The group stumbled their ways back into town. Thankfully Abolish was guarding the gate today, "Hey guys, Oh! Hey Pyro, are you alright?" Abolish yelled from the tower, "We found on the side of the path back from the Crypt Beacon" Pearl yelled back, "Alright just come in".

After making it to Legundo's home and getting Pyro semi-comfortable, the doc took a closer look at Pyro's wounds. They were small and curved like nail marks, "Pyro, can you tell me what exactly happened?" The Doc asked. "Scott got mad, he was there when I told you about my base by the lake" "Wait. Scott grabbed you with his claws because you lied to him." Cleo retorted, "Yeah pretty much"

"Pyro, do you know why the skin next to the wounds is yellow-greenish?" Legundo questioned "Not that I know of" "Wait..." Cleo realized "Pyro. Did Scott grab you with his nails or with his claws?" She seemed tense. "Claws definitely, his nails are a darker shade or red, why?" Pyro answered as Legundo dabbed more of blood away. "Shit" Cleo swore, "What's wrong Cleo?" The doc asked, getting slightly worried from the tense expression on their face. "Vampires have venom in their claws and fangs, it keeps the blood from clotting." Cleo explained, "It makes stuff easier to kill or drink from, I don't think that was his intention to kill you though." "Wait, so this is going to keep bleeding. Like forever?" Pyro asked, rethinking the entire interaction. "No, it usually lasts a couple of hours, but it might be longer for you as it's mixing with your own venom." "Cleo" Legs questioned "Is there any way to remove the venom?" "Umh, yes, but that is burning it away with holy water..." "Pyro, it's your decision if you want this or not".

The vampire didn't know what to think, yes holy water burns badly for vampires but Cleo said it was the only option to close the wounds besides waiting it out and that could take hours. "I'll do it..." He sighed. "Alright, I'll go grab a few bottles of blood so you can heal" Cleo replied as they walked out of the house. "Doc grabbed one of the bottles of holy water from his pockets. "It's gonna hurt" "I know".

Legundo dipped a small piece of cloth into the holy water then dabbed it onto Pyro's neck. The Vampire flinched as it touched his skin. It HURT. "It's fading back to grey, Pyro.". The doc was just finished when Cleo came back in. She handed Pyro a bottle of blood and watched as he shakily downed the entire bottle. He desperately  wanted to scratch his neck.

After making sure no excess holy water was left on Pyro's skin by drying it with a different piece of cloth, the doc carefully wrapped Pyro's neck in bandages. "How does that feel?" The doc asked after he was finished. "It still hurts, but it's better than before." Pyro remarked.

"Good, Let's get you settled somewhere, so you can rest a bit." "I can ask Pearl if he can stay with us," Cleo said. "Maybe, Pyro, this is your decision" "I.. I don't really care, if it's possible can I just stay with you Legs?" "Ofcourse, I built a spare bedroom at the beginning, you can stay there" He assured. "Thank you..." "No problem Pyro"
