It was a normal day in appearance. The three guys, Edd, Tom and Matt, came back from a random adventure (They were fighting penguins in Alaska, to be exact). Tired, they collapsed on the sofa, and put on the tv. When they heard "and now, professor whyyyy", they instantly frowned, and understood that this evening would be a very boring one.
At this moment started a little game between the three roommates, the "anything to distract us" games. The rules are simple : when there's a very awkward or annoying situation, the three start silently to find any distraction. A fly, a little spot on the wall, really anything that could entertain them for more than 0,2 seconds.
During this game, anything suddenly becomes passionating. Tom was absolutely amazed by a little spider on the wall, who was standing there since days. Matt felt a deep sensation of amusement, by scratching the sofa to make a funny sound.
When suddenly, out of nowhere, something incredible happened, highly interesting -compared to a spider and a funny sound- : Edd, stood up from the couch, and said "i'm going shopping, i don't have enough cola anymore". Shock !!!
Quickly, Edd left. Tom and Matt were still trembling, from how much this scene was jaw-dropping, and how violent the difference was between Edd's apparently normal sentence, and the silence, and the stillness, and the deeply, enormously lame show on the tv. After some time , Tom finally spoke, with a hint of glitter in his eyes (or in the holes that are his eyes)
"Oh my god, this was... Absolutely pathetic. Urgh." He then took a little bottle from his pocket, and took a sip from it.
Matt answered "no, i think this moment was absolutely awesome ! Edd definitely won the "anything to distract us" game. He's really talented at amusing people."
"A mirror can distract you for hours, Matt."
"Fair point, Mr. Alcoholic."
"Mister WHAT ?"
"You're so drunk you don't even understand what i say ?"
"Hmpf shut up" He took another sip of his suspect beverage.
"No, I'm worried about you tom."
"What i drink is none of your business. I'm old enough to decide if i'm alcoholic or not."
"Don't cry when you'll be dead of an ethical coma"
"Okay, mom"
Matt blushed a bit, teasing Tom "Ooh i like it when you call me mom. Try Daddy ?"
"I'd rather kill myself."
"I know how to make you change your mind."
"Sure, i'd love to see that"
Matt grabbed a little tablet out of nowhere. There was a red button on it. "Okay, press that."
Tom raised an eyebrow, curious "what is it ?"
Matt smirked, and answered with a smug little facial expression "try it yourself, handsome."
At this point, Tom was so confused he didn't even noticed Matt calling "handsome". He was only thinking "i wonder what this does." Then, he pressed the button, and looked back at Matt, clearly surprised :
"Oh, i'm gay now"
Matt bursted out in laughter. "Hahaha gotcha"
"But that's stupid. I was already bi."
"Wait what ? But if you were attracted to men, why not me ? Every person attracted by men should be attracted by me."
"Youuuuu're an idiot."
"No, i'm..." Then followed a dead silence. They both felt extremely uncomfortable because of the heavy mood. And unconsciously started a "anything to distract us" game.
Matt stared at a bugged pixel on the screen. A classic move. Tom, in the other hand, refused to play this stupid game a second time. So, he used the ultimate move. The assured victory. He grabbed Matt, softly put an hand on his shoulder and the other behind his head, brushing his soft ginger hair, and...
He kissed him.
He quickly pulled back, and looked at Matt, blushing a little. "Did i won this time ?" Matt turned red as a toMATTo (sorry) "yes, i... I guess you won..."
When SUDDENLY Edd appeared out of nowhere, riding a dinosaur in a Hatsune Miku Cosplay.
Tom and Matt both sighed "Okay... Edd won."
