Chapter Text
It was raining outside, a soft pitter-patter against the glass windows of the apartment a certain silver-haired man lived in and it was almost as if the Titan’s themselves cursed him.
This curse was oh-so powerful that even the clouds have turned dark and stormy. That certain man walked over hurriedly to the window by his desk in his awfully tacky mis-matched fluffy slippers like they were picked out by some four year old child whose favorite colour is purple and favorite fruit is a banana. They're fine apart, but absolutely awful together and especially in the neon shade they are. An actual eyesore.
"Mydei! Go get the clothing from the balcony!" The silver-haired man yelled to his closest then pushed that window in which caused a 'thud' sound and the muffling of the wind's song and rustling of tree leaves.
"Already doing it, come here and help!" That man whom was the closest to the other responded, rushing out the balcony and carrying a heap of fabrics.
The window handle had been turned, finally stilling the weather's cries of misery. That silvery haired man let out a sigh and trotted over to help his beloved with carrying the previously drying laundry into the house.

I stood in front of the pile of fabrics that now laid upon the couch. Some were soaked more than the others, some less. Either way, both batches needed to be redried.
How unfortunate, I thought to myself. I turn my head to look at my partner, my expression akin to that which he would compare to saddened chimera or a whimpering puppy. I was really good at it apparently, since he told me that so often.
My beloved turned his head to me, his expression deadpan as if trying to telepathically communicate Told you it'd rain.
I caved, rubbing at my arm awkwardly. "How was I supposed to know that it would rain so soon?!" And my dear beautiful Mydeimos facepalmed at that, how rude! How could my beloved betray me like this?! - I thought and considered throwing the back of my hand over my forehead like some distressed fainting maiden.
Alas, he responded before that thought could come to action. "You should've listened, I told you. This is why we use the dryer we bought, remember we have that? The one that you wanted?"
The utterly beautiful Mydeimos explained, ah how could I be so stupid! I should've really listened to him, now all my clothes are wet and... they now hold the smell of heavy rain. I deeply exhaled through my nose, admitting defeat. "Sorrryyy.. " I mumbled, truly embarrassed to have ruined the laundry. I bit my lip, head hanging low in shame. My beloved flicks my ahoge - two pieces of hair that stick upward from my head at all times except for when it's wet. He wrapped his arms around me and I let out a sigh at his action, leaning into his comforting touches. I heard his deep, absolutely lovely voice as he held me and those large skilled hands rested upon my back.
"It is fine, you messenger pigeon. It's just fabric." He soothed, and I rested easy once more. My shoulders relaxed as his hands lifted to massage them and ease those tense muscles. I took his wrists, wrapping my own fingers around them and pulling them outward in which I could look at the ring on his finger, a smile crossing my face. It was just a promise ring, the wedding is not yet to come and is only in early planning stages. A beautiful large ruby resting upon gold, truly fitting my beloved's hair.
My Mydeimos, all mine. And soon, perhaps even my husband. Butterflies squirmed around in my stomach at the idea of calling him that. Ah, what a dream it was... and even one that might be fulfilled. An idea suddenly crossed my mind, I leaned in and pressed my lips to those lightly scarred knuckles; one kiss each. I looked up, watching his face gradually turn redder. How I loved his blushes, how pretty they were and how well they fit his face. I loved watching those amber eyes of his glaze over when he was shy and how the outer canthus of them crinkled as they lightly squint. I smirk, letting his hands go and staring at him with satisfaction at how absolutely flushed I was able to make him, how pretty my beloved looks like this. He furrowed his brows in an irritated, embarrassed expression and crossed his arms as he often does. He looked to the side, avoiding looking at me as if I have offended him. Perhaps I have, hard time knowing when I'm more focused on how much I adore him right now.
"Ugh, you absolute dork, Haikas."
He said to me. I chuckled, leaning in close and kissing his cheek. "At least I'm your dork." I tell him before giving him another kiss; on the other cheek this time. He smiled, giving up on that tough act and leaning into it himself, arms wrapping around me and adding;
"My dork, indeed." He utters against my lips before kissing me on them wholeheartedly, tongue peeking in and when I gave him permission; tangling in with mine passionately.
Oh, how much I love him. Mydeimos - my lovely future husband.
