Shizuma knew Minato wasn't perfect, he was a bit arrogant, insecure and even violent to some degree. But looking at his sleeping face, with the early sunlight reflecting on his blonde hair, slightly pouting and hugging Shizumas's waist, it was really impossible to not think he was the most perfect human that ever existed.
They needed to get up, it was almost afternoon already and there was a lot to be done. Normally Minato would wake up before him and make coffee. For how much he liked to spend his nights at the bar or partying it was surprising that he was also an early riser. So the morning sleeping face was a rare sight that Shizuma wanted to enjoy a bit more.
Trying his best to not move too much, Shizuma reached for his phone and pointed the camera to his lover. He wanted to be quiet, but the snap sound was loud enough to wake up the other.
"Shizuma-kun?"
"Good morning, Minato"
"Did you just took a picture?" Minato wasn't fully awaken yet, so the scolding face had little effect with his eyes not even opened. Shizuma laughed, softly caressing his hair.
"I did. Sorry to wake you up, you just looked so beautiful"
That made Minato finally open his eyes and look directly at Shizuma.
"I always look beautiful"
Shizuma laughed again and kissed his forehead.
"You absolutely do. I just wanted to register it"
Minato tried not to smile, but it didn't really work, so he sat up and extended his hand.
"Well, let me see it"
"You can't delete it even if it's bad" Shizuma said seriously, giving his phone.
The photo was a little blurry, as expected of Shizuma, but it was surprisingly pretty, it was easy to see that it was Minato laying on Shizuma, and you could see the rays of sunlight in Minato's face and hair, shining like a jewel.
"Not too bad, Shizuma-kun"
"You can say that is good, you know?" Shizuma said, pulling Minato by the waist when he tried to get up.
"It's blurry, you still have a lot to learn about taking good photos"
"C'mon Minato, can't you be a little more honest at least today?" Shizuma asked, resting his chin on Minato's shoulder.
"There's no reason for it. It's just a normal day" Even though his tone was a little annoyed, Minato leaned back in Shizuma's hold.
"It isn't. After all, today is our first day living together" Shizuma smiled broadly and tightly hugged Minato, while kissing his cheek.
"Don't be so sappy in the morning, Shizuma-kun"
"Too late. I'll be sappy every morning and you can't escape now"
"It's too early for that, I need coffee" Minato hit his arm lightly, but Shizuma could see that he was also smiling. "C'mon, Shizuma-kun, we have a lot to unpack yet"
"I know…" He loosened his hold a bit, but as Minato tried to get up again, Shizuma pushed him towards the bed and got on top of him "But that can wait. We should enjoy our first morning living together"
Minato was surprised by the sudden action, but quickly relaxed and laughed, intertwining his arms on Shizuma's neck.
"Last night wasn't enough for you?" He smiled as Shizuma kissed his face.
"You know I never have enough of you"
Minato was satisfied with this answer and pulled him in for a proper kiss. When they separated Shizuma took a moment to look at his beautiful lover again.
"I love you, Minato"
Minato rolled his eyes, but smiled and kissed him again.
"I love you too, Shizuma-kun"
