Wifies didn't want to believe his eyes. Of course, he didn't want to. But it didn't matter how many times he squinted and blinked or rubbed his eyes over and over again; The same stark contrast between his best friend's warm green feathery wings that lay flat and messed up in a pooling red that just won't stop seeping, just won't dissapear from his sight.

He's just laying there—Parrot's wings crooked and bent in a way that would've been uncomfortable for whoever they are, the feathers are all wrong and off. A lone feather lay nearby, goggles that were hanging loosely on Parrot's head are now cracked and dull. And he—well, he's staring directly at Wifies.

The distant gust of wind that harshly blew as the masked clown dressed in red and black left the arena with his pair of elytra and rockets. The cobwebs that were placed on the ground nearby were weeping in the air as they barely held on the ground.

Wifies mind was screaming at him, to move—to run. To just rush to parrot's side. Anything, just anything.

The sound of a sword that was held tightly in wifies grasp was so quickly left clattering with a loud clang on the ground, the noise lightly echoed throughout the rather quiet, empty arena.

He ran, ran to his best friend. Parrotx2's eye was halfway closed, and it looked so hollow and tired, like he could sleep forever. His pupils dilated with a color so dark it's like he's staring deep into the void.

Wifies reached out his hands, his fingers shook as he lightly threaded along the carcasses, and his fingers stopped dead in their tracks when he immediately jerked away from Parrot as he stared back to the same pair of black endless void masked as eyes, like he was personally judging him for even trying.

The sticky crimson liquid stained wifies pants, the red that clung like it won't ever let go. Wifies didn't seem to care at all, infact. He just kept staring at his dead best friend's corpse. To think that one could die so suddently when they still had plans on what were they supposed to do next week and a promise that still runs along across the line.

Wifies didn't budge, he just sits there. Kneeling next to what was once his best friend. His knees tightly tucked up to his chest, he could try to shove thousands of totems and fed Parrot millions of golden apple, maybe some miracle could happen—but Wifies was never really the one to believe in such so.

The arena looked like a haze, a disaster zone, maybe. There were cobwebs and scratch marks from a sharp and shiny swords. The atmosphere never really shifted from the way it's so depressing and gloomy.

But for some reason it looked... Off, rather blurry. As if someone had smudged an ink writing; and a pleasant smell of flowers lingered nearby. The entrance, exit— whatever. Looks unordinarily bright and odd.

Wifies felt a bit drowsy too, and he felt like he kept being prickled by a sharp rose thorn or a soft daisy petal. Maybe even a fresh grass dewdrops in a vast field of greens.

And so, Wifies blinked, his hands immediately flew to cover his eyes, leaving a small peek uncovered to view while a potrait of a clear blue sky with a vast endless fields of flowers that promised to always bloom along with that same fragrant smell gently welcomes him.

The field was so, so full of all kind of flowers it almost looked like a canvas with paint marked all over it. And a figure with colorful green wings and a pair of goggles hanging slightly off their head seemed to pick off the petals of an orange tulip in the distance. They look so focused in searching for something... For-

“Oh bro, you're finally awake bruh,” he chirped sheepishly. “And what's with that look bro??? It's like you're looking at a ghost.” And again.

“Okay so-” Wifies choked out, he looked so awkward. “Dude, just get here and help me already! We were supposed to find this stupid poppy bro” Parrot nagged. His eyes squinted to see under the bright sun.

The searing hot sun that was warmly gleaming down the fields; white puffy clouds that looked as soft as cotton candy hung on display in the blue sky—It looked so peaceful and calm and nothing like the arena earlier.

The soil's gentle grasp that clung on his leather boots whilst Wifies got up and lightly dusted off his knees, he ran off to his best friend, his tail twitched as it began to lightly wag again.

Parrot sighed "Dude you were genuinely out for so long and you wouldn't wake up bro, like im starting to wonder if you were sleeping or fainting. " A short pause. "And i had to search alone for like hours bro" He sulked

"Heh, okay bro." Wifies shortly responded, and to that Parrot reacted with a scowl. "God this guy bro" Parrot ran off with his spyglass poking out slightly off his satchel.

Parrot half-climbed half-ran to something that was supposed to resemble a hill... He thinks? And looks around with his spyglass like some sort of a madman in a watch tower, it looked funny though.

Wifies just stared, he then looked around and painfully slowly pulled out a poppy out of his pocket that god knows where he got from. Crouched down on the ground and start planting it from hands.

The soil did Wifies horribly because he looked like a kindegartener playing in the mud now but when you have been looking for a singular flower for hours, who wouldn't look like that? And so, Wifies called out "Parrot! Parrot!!" He practically screamed, as a distant "What?" Was heard. The figure that was sitting on the hill now slowly walked off of it, nearly tripping on fairly medium size bush for a moment.

"Did you found it bro?" Parrot gleamed, Wifies gave a half-hearted smirk before showing Parrot a carefully planted poppy on the ground. Parrot basically shoved Wifies aside before tugging on his sleeve forcefully. "Wait before you celebrate, i handplanted this" Wifies quickly murmured. And the shine that was on Parrot's eyes died. "You handplanted this?" He turned around and looked so dissapointed, scribbled thoughts were basically popping up on his head.

"Yeah i just wanted to give you a bit of a hope." Wifies quickly muttered, holding in a laugh. "Right, now keep looking." Parrot stormed off; Stomping off any poor flowers that got in the way.

Wifies stared for a far too long, and honestly. If this whole field of flowers thing was also a dream, maybe he wouldn't mind staying asleep for a bit longer.

Though, the bubbling thought that was boiling in Wifies' mind was cut short as Parrot gleefully grabbed Wifies hand unnoticingly and basically dragged him across the field to the lone distinct poppy that Parrot found.
