Flin had just woken up. They had been living in the walls of this human for the last years. Flin was a fairy, they used to live in their own tiny society but it had a devastating ending...humans destroying iit fully. The fairies were all forced to find homes in the nearby city.. Many of them didn't survive the attack and others died because of the new environments they had to survive in, either because of humans accidently killed them or because they would starve to death.
Flin had managed to find a house where only one human lived, he fortunately didn't have any friends or pets so he would mostly just watch movies or study for college. Flin was unsure what kind of person this human was but they didn't wish to risk it as they did want to live their life. For the past years they had been gathering food and supplies with no problems, they had learned the humans schedule so they didn't have to worry about being caught. They could calmly get supplies without any worries, untill... The humans schedule changed. Flin was gathering some medical supplies until the door suddenly opened ,t he human walking in..he was talking on the phone. Flin got startled and flew up, managing to bump their head on a light, grunting before they fell down landing on the counter... Their whole body feeling numb.
The human seemed to hear the sound, he furrowed his eye brows.. He looked around and spotted the tiny figure.
"Hey uh... Ill call you back later ight? I have some work to do. See you."
He hung up the phone as he slowly approached the tiny...Flin was terrified they tried to move back, but the human placed his hand behind the tiny he tried to appear less intimidating by appearing smaller and speaking in a soft voice.
"Hey buddy.. What- what are you..? "
Flin didn't reply, the humans booming voice startled them even more.. They tried to fly away but the human quickly grabbed them, he was trying to be gentle not realising his strength.. As he damaged their wings. Flin winced in pain the human realising his mistake..
"Shit... Shit im so sorry uh... Look my name is Oliver.. I won't hurt you I promise... Ill just uh.."
He walked over to his room.. Closing the door and windows before letting them down, plopping them on the bed.
Flin scrambling around, quickly understanding their wings were damaged causing them to be unable to fly.. They looked at the height they were from the ground.
"... Uhm you! Human- o-oliver? Please don't.. Do anything. . To me. " they spoke very quietly, not knowing the humans intentions..Oliver could barely understand what the tiny fairy was saying... He could only pick up some of the words trying his best to not be intimidating.
"No no... Dont worry you're safe. Im not.. Scary."
Flin didn't trust him.. It was the first time they ever spoke to a human. They destroyed their homes they couldn't be this nice. They seemed to back off to the end of the bed close to the wall, they had an escape plan, but they wanted to see what this was all about.
"... Okay. I'm flin. Can you leave now?.. "
Oliver was shocked when they answered, maybe he was gaining their trust? He sat on the floor...
"I'm sorry I cant do that..uh do you live.. Here? "
Flin nodded.
"Oh,, uhm ight are you hungry... Cold? Can I help? "
Flin thought for a second.. What did they want to get?
"Uh.. I am a bit hungry" they were not just hungry they were STARVING! They hadn't had time to get their daily food since this whole thing happen..
"Oh okay okay... Ill bring you some uhh bread? Do you eat that?
They nodded. " yeah that would be... Nice. Thanks."
"Of course... Stay here. Dont leave.. Okay? "
"... Okay. "
Oliver left the room...what should flin do? Should he go on with his escape or wait for Oliver to come back? He needed the food anyways, but they didn't know if they could trust him.
What should they do? YOU DECIDE AAA!!!
