Love Potion? Only the cause of trouble!

Summary:

“I've been waiting for this day since the day they met.” Alice sniffed. “Me too.” Edgar cried.

The two sobbed in unison from the amount of pining that they were forced to witness.

Florian made a love potion. It proceeded to make the day absolutely worse (but also better?)

He really needs to stop falling, he might fall off the stairs again.

Work Text:

A love potion.

From a page from a book that he had found in a forgotten corner of the central library Florian had found when looking for new ointments, sneaking away while the girls were distracted.

It was a week before the festival, where God would descend down to bless the city, and the people were frantically making preparations, rehearsals could be heard throughout the day, and the security became lax, making it easier to break Richard out from the cellar he was in.

Evelyn, being the head priestess, had her workload increased, timings where all 5 of them could meet up becoming scarce as the festival loomed over them.

Florian had more time in his hands now, and he spent that time productively by reading old books covered in dust, collecting herbs to create interesting products and lamenting his unrequited love to Alice whenever she was willing to listen.

Like he said, very productively.

Anyways, back on topic. Florian had borrowed the book, brought it back to his shop, and spent the night browsing through the book, coughing as each page revealed more dust, hands waving to clear the air from the air.

Ancient remedies, some symbols that aren't in any of the known languages, and other random stuff that looked so out of place and what is a Panadol?

Ancient people had weird solutions to weird problems, Florian concluded.

After a few all-nighters, Florian followed the instructions of the half blood prince, and managed to create a powder form of the potion that was a shade lighter than what was in the book.

Purple hearts occasionally floated from the powder, but otherwise, it looks completely innocent, as if it wasn’t a powerful love potion that made anyone, anyone attracted to you for 24 hours.

If there was a list of ‘Fun experiments to do when you're bored’, this would be at the top of the list.

Florian took in a deep breath, before sniffing the love powder. Woody, the smell of cornflowers. A hint of the familiar smell of his own herbs used in a customized medication…yay! It works! Florian felt his cheeks burn, mind going to a specific white haired fighter in a tattered red cloak….Nope! Not the time!

He scrambled onto his feet, nearly stepping on the thick book lying on the floor, and tripped over his bag, barely managing to steady himself before he planted face first into the cauldron of powder, and fumbled his way to the bathroom, splashing water onto his face, trying to ignore the hotness on his cheeks.

God, was he down bad.

After managing to calm down, Florian transferred the powder into a compartment on his bag before pushing open the door of his house, nearly slamming face first into the person outside.

In a pathetic attempt to steady himself, Florian’s shoe caught on the ledge of his door frame, causing him to trip, falling right onto his front steps and the person about to knock on his door.

Florian turned around in the air, grabbing his bag. He wasn't about to lose 3 days of progress on a new potion just from a stupid fall!

Ah, but there was something that was out of his expectations. As he looked up, familiar heterochromia eyes gazed down at him, hazy iris staring at him in mild shock.

Embarrassing himself in front of Richard wasn’t uncommon, but tripping himself on his own door frame was certainly a new type of low.

Florian honestly prefers losing his 3 days of progress.

Alas, because God is kind, Florian’s head didn't splatter on his own doorstep, and his powder was still safely kept in his bag cradled in his chest. However, his arms weren't clutching his bag anymore. Instead, at some point during the fall, Richard had managed to catch him, one arm under his knees, and the other supporting his back.

Florian had subconsciously wrapped his arms around Richard’s neck, eyes closed shut, bracing for impact that never came. He slowly opened his eyes, carefully looking up.

Richard looked down at him, slight fluttering of feathers in his hair, probably from the small wings that had recently appeared.

They stared at each other for a second, and in a second, Florian felt his face blush red, heat radiating from his cheeks.

“Hi!....What's up Richard! Hahaha…” Florian immediately removed his arms from Richard's neck, laughing awkwardly while shooting finger guns at Richard.

Richard stared at him, before sighing. His little cuckoo bird, an unfortunate familiar ‘customer’ that steals his seeds from his herbs, fluttered around Florian’s head, before landing on his hat.

Richard made his way down the stairs, ignoring Florian’s yelp of surprise and the hands that fumbled back around his neck, before gently put him down on solid ground.

“If you’re sick, you shouldn't go out. How did you manage to trip over your own door step?” Richard shook his head, hand reaching out to remove his bird from Florian's hat.

“Hahahaha! I'm not sick! I'm just …” Florian laughed awkwardly, before pointing in a random direction. “Look! Is that a jar of wine!”

Richard stared at him unimpressed, and Florian felt like dying on the spot.

Richard sighs, before allowing a small smirk to appear on his face. “Oh of course, dear, Brand.” He walks down the stairs, before looking back at Florian.

“What are you waiting for? We have the whole day off. Didn't you say you wanted to go buy some more herbs yesterday?” Richard raised an eyebrow, looking at Florian at the top of the stairs. Florian blinked before smiling widely. “Oh yea! Okay let's go!” He ran down to catch up to the other, waving his hands around frantically as he made conversation.

“I was working on something lately, it's like a potion I found in a book in the library.” Florian tucked his hands into his pockets, blinking innocently. He had no ulterior motives at all!

Okay maybe a little.

Richard tilted his head, eyes sliding over to him, before shaking his head with a small smile. “Working late again…we can't have you fall sick before the annual parade.” he teased, hand reaching out to grasp Florian’s.

It had become a little habit between the two, when Richard’s eyesight first started faltering.

Florian felt his face turn painstakingly red again, and he coughed, tightening his grip on the other’s hand. “I'm never going to work myself to death…unless I get so drunk and fall down the stairs or something… That's not the point! I need you to help me test its effects! Don't breathe in too much though, I'm not sure what it does when you take in that amount .” With that said, Florian fumbled for the nozzle of the hose connected to his bag with his free hand, turning a small valve to change the type of container connected to the pipe so as he wouldn't accidentally sedate his teammate.

He winced mentally at the memory of accidentally giving Edgar a terrible rash instead of remedy to his lack of sleep issue…. Or the time he had mixed up sea salt and sugar and given Alice muffins made with the wrong ingredient…

It happened too many times, and Florian was determined to not make that same mistake again!

Taking a small sniff of the powder, he was met with the smell of woody trees and cornflowers. With a sheepish smile, he held out the nozzle, spraying a little in front of Richard for him to smell.

Richard, although he stared at Florian with slight suspicion at first, did as he was told, and took a little sniff. Florian stared at him with slight anticipation, finger tapping on the handle impatiently.

Richard stopped in his tracks, and Florian looked up, to be met with a strange stare. Silence descended upon the two, and Florian quietly stared back with curiosity.

Richard snapped himself out of it and thought for a moment, resuming walking. “It smells kind of…flowery? But there's also something like smokey underneath…smells kind of like you actually.”

Florian stopped in his tracks, and stared at Richard with wide eyes. There's no way. What the fu-

“Language.” Evelyn’s voice scolded him in his mind.

Richard stopped whistling his small tune, turning around to face Florian when he felt Florian stop. “What's wrong? You look terribly red… are you sure you’re not sick?” He reached his hand up to Florian's forehead, the back of his hand nearly touching..

Florian flinched back, laughing awkwardly, and retracted his hands from Richard’s. “Nothing, Nothing! I just…Are you sure?”

Richard blinked, staring down at his hand, before looking up and replying slowly. “Yes…I'm…sure…? Is there something wrong?”

If it was possible, Florian’s face would've flushed redder than before. He retreated a few steps, blurting out, “Oh no! Oh no, everything is fine! I just remembered I have to…you know! Uh, talk to God….do some prayers….yea! Hahahaha….see you later!”

Ignoring Richard’s slightly furrowed eyebrows, he ran off, back into his house and started to giggle like crazy.

Richard sat down next to Edgar, nails scratching the floor. The small wings beside his head fluttered impatiently, as he exhaled a deep sigh.

Edgar, annoyed by the constant loud scratching, rolled his eyes, and looked up from his mural on the wall. “What’s wrong with you? You’re acting too out of character.”

Richard said nothing, but continued to sulk next to him. Edgar, seeing no response, tsked, and went back to painting his mural.

After a small moment of silence, Richard finally muttered something…except, it was too soft to be heard. Edgar didn’t grace him with a response, instead dipped his brush into golden paint.

“Florian ran away from me.” Richard spat out, like it physically hurt him to say. He scowled at the ground, like it had personally done something wrong to him.

There was a small thud, and Richard glanced up darkly, to see Edgar gaping at him, brush dropped on the floor, leaving spatters on the intricate mosaic floor.

“Wait. You’re telling me. Florian, Mr 'always has something to say even at the most awkward timings; Somehow managed to sell everything in his house to buy you a good luck charm; has had a crush on you since he met you’ Brand, is avoiding you.” Edgar spluttered, the three wings on his head rustling in his hair.

Richard nodded his head, before blinking blankly, “Wait what-“ Edgar punched his arm, and pinched his bicep. “That’s not the point here! What did you do?” Richard winced, escaping from Edgar’s grip and rubbing the slightly red mark on his arm. Edgar gasped, and grabbed his shoulders, forcefully making Richard face him. “Oh my God. Did he confess and you rejected him? What is wrong with you? I didn’t sit through so many sessions of you sulking about your crush for this.”

Richard released himself from Edgar’s grasp, and stared at him. “What do you mean he confessed? And he sold all his items that charm?” Edgar groaned, before plopping down next to Richard, careful to avoid the paint puddles on the ground. “I don’t know! Did he confess? It was a hypothetical situation!” For the sake of his sanity, he decided to ignore the second part of the sentence.

Richard, hesitantly, sat down next to him. “I knew he liked me. I’m not that blind.” He ignored the small “yet” from Edgar, and carried on. “But I don’t think he confessed. Just now all he did was show me a new powder he made.”

“What did you say?” Edgar pressed, picking up his brush and carefully smoothing out the bristles. “Just that it smelt like him.” Richard shrugged, fingers tracing out the smooth lines on the floor.

He heard another small thud on the floor, and looked up to be met with Edgar’s baffled expression. His paint brush was lying on the floor next to him, freshly brushed brush messed up again.

“You can’t say that! Oh my God no wonder he ran off.” Edgar buried his head in his hands. Richard opened his mouth to retort, but was immediately cut off but Edgar’s hand covering his mouth. “Do not talk. I don’t think I can take anymore of this stupidity.”

After a few moments, Edgar took in a deep sigh, and pointed a finger right at Richard’s nose. “Okay. This is what you’re going to do. Apologize, say that you were sorry, and confess your love PROPERLY this time. Do NOT come back until you get your issue sorted out.”

Richard opened his mouth to respond, but got cut off but Edgar. “I don’t care if it’s impossible for you. I will NOT be helping you in any form, regardless if you’re in trouble, or about to get destroyed by God, just get your shit together, and make things right with him.”

Richard was about to talk, but remembered the three times he got cut off, and nodded silently. Standing up to leave, he got cut off by Edgar’s words. “Clean up the mess you made.”

He turned around, seeing him point at the splatters of gold paint on the floor. “No leaving until you clean it up.”

Giving an unimpressed glare at Edgar, Richard set out to get a cloth and a bucket.

Florian made his way to the middle of the street, giggling like mad as the passer-bys gave him a wide margin, covering their children’s eyes as they hurried past him.

He didn’t care for their opinions. Who cares when they basically got confirmation that their crush is reciprocated! He felt like he could fight off a hundred devotees right now!

Florian walked- sorry, skipped to the entrance of the Cathedral, where the 5 of them were supposed to meet up. He had made up his mind, he was going to confess! He already got confirmation, and he was going to put that knowledge into action!

Some people recognized him as he passed them, waving him over frantically.

“Hey, aren’t you the guy with the magic medications? My son has skill issue playing the piano, can you fix that?” “Oh! The herbs you gave me last time were fabulous, absolutely delicious to make soup with. I was wondering if you were selling any more?” “I really need some sedation herbs right now…Are you able to do some business right now?”

Florian laughed sheepishly amongst the chatter, and tried to squeeze his way out the crowd forming around him. He was barely making any progress, somehow trapping himself more and more in the middle of the crowd. “Please! We’ve been so busy with the parade and didn't get enough sleep recently…we’ll pay you! Just please let us get some rest now…” Someone shouted over the voices overlapping each other.

Florian was glad he was in a good mood. He usually wouldn’t have entertained such a request, but alas, today was an exception. With a hearty laugh, Florian pulled out his hose with a small spin between the fingers, and pointed it in the air with a wink…that wasn’t really obvious as he had one eye covered.

“Limited time offer! Since you guys have asked for my help, I shall answer! Take a whiff of this!” He laughed, spraying the purple powder into the air . It descended onto the crowd slowly, filling the air with the sweet smell of Vertiver and herbs.

As more and more people gathered around him, gasps filling the air, Florian started to spin, laughing as he sprayed dose after dose in the air. The movement was addictive, while Florian was commended for his efforts and success.

Slowly, however, his surrounding became quieter, and people started to stand in place, heads dropping down. Florian, noticing the abnormal situation, opened his eyes, looking around in confusion. Usually the doses were strong enough to knock out a fully grown man that he would collapse on the floor! This time, everyone was standing up straight, heads hanging to their chests, as the strange silence continued on.

Florian, confused, looked at the nozzle, and sprayed a little in the air…only to notice the small Purple Hearts emitting from the opening.

Fuck.

He had forgotten to turn the valve, and hence…instead of the sedation medication….he had sprayed the love potion instead!

With wide eyes, Florian looked up at the people surrounding him, the heavy smell of vertiver in the air, in absolute dread.

The people snapped their heads up in unison, causing shivers to run down Florian’s spine, and lunged at him all at once. Their hands gripped at his bag as he made his escape, pushing past lovestruck men and women, running for his dear life into the cathedral.

Richard threw his dirty cloth into the bucket, glaring at Edgar, who had done nothing to contribute and had just spent the time adding onto his painting on the wall.

“Don’t forget to get flowers before visiting him! Maybe some Apple cider or some wine. Also,  remember to apologize!” Edgar yelled as Richard walked away, carrying the bucket filled with golden water.

Richard gave him the international friendly finger, before walking to the door, balancing the bucket of water on his arm.

Right when he was about to reach for the handle, the door burst open, and in came….”Florian?” Richard blinked. Florian stared at him, before smiling widely. “Hello darling! Uh I have a problem here…I’m just going to leave it to you!” With that, Florian ran in, leaving Richard at the door, the bucket of water dropped on the floor, spilling all over the place.

“Wait no-“ Richard stared, before a hoard of people burst through the door.

Edgar looked up at the sudden sound of thundering footsteps, and dropped his brush again. He jumped onto his feet, paintbrush thankfully held in his hand without any other damage.

He yelled at Florian, who was running around the room. “The paint is still wet! Brand, if you ruined my drawing, I swear, you will NOT be here on the day of the parade!” Florian, preoccupied with running, didn’t have time to take a deep breath to even respond.

Richard squinted at the blurry shapes, the tingling sound of the bells hanging off Florian’s belt going nearer and nearer while he rushed to the center of the room.

Edgar, thank god for him, had a good idea. With his experience of directing Richard in the battlefield, he pointed at the door, shouting out clear instructions at Florian, “Run out and trap them in the room! Richard and I can take them out!”

Florian, having heard his instructions, gave a thumbs up, pulling off a sharp turn, causing some of the herd to hit each other, knocking them unconscious, and ran out of the room, the sound of the lock clicking echoing through the room, startling a few doves resting on the open dome above them.

The victims of the love potion, having lost their target of desire, stopped in their tracks for a moment. Their hands remained held up in front of him, and low groans could be heard all around the room.

Edgar and Richard stood in the middle of the room, back to back. Edgar brandished his brush, golden paint splattering on the floor. Richard held up his fist, ready to go into combat as soon as they started to chase them. The little bird that flew around him was nowhere to be found.

Edgar cursed as he turned, the light movement setting off the bell hung onto his belt. The zombies, oh no, lovestruck crowd turned to the sound, heart shaped eyes staring at the two of them blankly.

Edgar pointed his brush at them, yelling, “Lets take them on Richard! Onwards!” With that, he ran towards the crowd, causing the hoard of people to start scrambling over each other to reach the two normal humans.

Richard planted his feet firmly into the ground, launching punch after punch into each zombie that ran dared to approach him. Each punch sent them flying, knocking them out of their lovesick minds,

Right as he was about to land another punch on another guy, he heard a shout. “AHHHHHH STOP CHASING ME!” Edgar, while being followed by another zombie, slipped between them, shouted at the top of his lungs as he ran one, two, three laps around the room, the sound attracting more of the crowd into the chase.

Richard stared after him, before punching the zombie again. Even though Edgar had diverted the attention of the zombies, there were still plenty remaining, and he had to take them down quickly, or at least before Edgar collapsed with his terrible stamina.

“Fuck, Fuck, Fuck, Why? You guys are terrible I hate you oh my God save me what did I do to deserve this?” Edgar rambled as he put in all his effort into running, waving his paintbrush randomly against the pillars, the floor. The groans and moans from the hoard were quickly catching up, shoes squeaking against the mosaic floor. With another sob, Edgar quickened his pace, leaving stroke after stroke on the walls as he ran.

Left, right, left, right. One by one, Richard knocked them out with a punch. It was rather easy, since they weren’t actively fighting back, but if it were a whole crowd…Richard shakes his head. A unison chorus of moans sounded right in front, and Richard eyes widened, barely managing to lift a hand up in preparation before a whole stampede knocked right into him. God really loved to fuck with him..

Hands grabbed at him, the meager defense only preventing them from reaching his face. Richard gritted his teeth as he pushed against the large force, feet planted on the ground.

Slowly, he got pushed back by the sheer power of more and more people pushing against him, his feet, still planted on the ground, slowly moving back, friction leaving small black scratch marks on the ground as hands started to grab at him, overwhelming smell of flowers and smoke surrounding him, and the losing grip of his own consciousness…

“Oh no you don’t!” A yell came from beside him. Richard looked up with wide eyes, as Edgar led the crowd that was chasing him right at Richard’s, ducking away at last second and causing the two to crash into each other, the force knocking them up out of their lovestruck state.

Richard glanced down at the stacks of bodies, some unconscious or ones that were rubbing their heads wincing as they glanced around. Panting beside him, Edgar chocked, hunched over as he tried to catch his breath, “That’s all of them?”

Richard straightened, brushing off a small speck of paint that got onto his clothes. Opening his mouth to respond, he was cut off by the flutter of wings from the doves that scattered above them, and looked up, only to be met with the metal bucket he had dropped before to fall straight onto his head.

Alice had been stuck in the darkness for a long time. But, there was a group of people outside promoting their escape room and she couldn’t miss the chance to check out new places!

So, as any logical person would do, she paid the fee, took her candle and stepped into the rooms to explore.

It wasn’t that hard of an escape room, within a few minutes she had managed to find all the clues, solve a murder and also beat up a kid that kept chasing her around the floor. Right now she was looking for the exit, any existing traps, and to meet up with her friends.

Waving her candle around, Alice searched through every nook and cranny of the corridors, not even letting a single speck of dust escape her sight. A scurry of movement made Alice turn around, waving the candle like it was her dagger, melted wax splattering everywhere.

Slowly, she neared the door, squinted at the slight light shining through the door frame. This must be it!

With great enthusiasm, Alice slammed open the door, eyes squinted as they adjusted to the light. She stared at the mess of the painting on the floor, and at the two troublemakers stumbling around, one with a bucket on his head, and the other waving his paintbrush around. “What are you guys doing?”

After a few minutes of yanking, yelling and even using a knife to cut it, the two finally managed to pry the bucket off Richard’s head with minimum injury except a few feathers.

Richard ran a hand through his hair, smoothening the uneven strands. The little wings in his hair fluttered with minor impatience, and he whistled, the little cuckoo bird returning back to his shoulder at the call.

Edgar frowned at the display. “Keep whistling and you’ll get put back in the prison cell again. It’s too close to the annual parade, we can’t have our main fighter locked up!” Alice nudged him. “What? Am I wrong?”

With a sigh, Alice glanced down at the now recovering people on the floor, staring at each other with confused expressions. “I thought this was an escape room. Why were you fighting the npcs?” She asked, before shaking her head. “No, wait. Why did you have a bucket on your head?” She pointed at Richard, who was trying to sneak out of the room.

Richard groaned, returning back to his original position next to a laughing Edgar. “You don’t say, he looked better with a bucket on his head.” Edgar laughed, before needing to go out because he was cackling too much and causing a disturbance in the cathedral.

Richard rolled his eyes, before turning back to a baffled Alice-shaped figure. “So, Florian knows I have a crush on him-”

“NO WAY DID YOU FINALLY-”

“NO!”

“Damm it.”

“…”

“Where is Evelyn and him anyways, we were supposed to meet up an hour ago.”

“…”

“Also go clean up this mess on the floor.”

“Fuck.”

Evelyn has been planning for something for the past few days that has nothing to do with the parade.

Of course God was about to descend, but her plan takes priority.

She had been observing the routine of the guards, the timing where they changed shifts (and remembered that she was the one who came up with them, so her time was all wasted) and decided to take action now, where the guards were patrolling around, minutes before their shift change.

Evelyn followed behind them, ducking behind pillars and squatting in corners. Even though no one will question her because she’s the head priestess but hey, who doesn’t like a little adventure?

While sneaking around, Evelyn nearly tripped over something, barely managing to hold herself up with her staff. She peered down, and what stared back were three blue eyes. The creature tilted its head, the fluffy fox ears on his head twitching and Evelyn reached her hand out. “Awwwwww your sooo cute! Okay I’m adopting you, let’s go get that halo.”

And so, the creature and the priestess both set out on their adventure, blending in with statues and ducking behind pillars.

Slowly, Evelyn neared the room she was going for, a smile on her face widening, and the creature twirled and purred behind her. With cautious footsteps she stepped forward…

“What are you doing?”

Fuck.

Evelyn turned around, to be met with the sunken grey eyes of Aesop Carl, the Rector of this specific cathedral, standing behind her, holding a thick book to his chest.

She chuckled, hands waving around as she stammered through her words. “You know! This and that! Hahaha! I was just curious about the infrastructure since you know, this is a very historical building!”

Rector Carl regarded her with a wary eye, before taking in a deep sigh. “Whatever, just don’t break anything.”

With that, he walked off, and Evelyn exhaled in relief. The creature, hidden in the ceiling, peeked its head out, wings flapping as it descended back down to her height.

“We’re almost there! Let’s do this!” She told the creature, who purred at her in response. With a gentle push, the door in front of her opened, and in front of her was the halo that God has on every time He descended down to the Eternal Paradise.

Evelyn was always curious, was the Halo a reflection of light? Or a solid piece, where it could be touched? If so, how would it feel? Today, all her questions would be answered.

With an excited gasp, Evelyn passed her staff to the creature, hands reached out to hold the piece of God in front of her.

There was a soft thrum of power emitting through the air, and a slight hum as Evelyn took a step forward. Such power! It’s beautiful!

With a light tug, Evelyn pulled the Halo off its display, staring in amazement at the bright light in front of her, the slight heaviness taking her by surprise.

The creature peeked out from behind her, three eyes blinking at the light. A voice whistled. “Woah what’s that?”

Evelyn turned around in a hurry, to be met with Florian’s wide grin. “Good grief! Don’t scare a woman like that Florian Brand!”

Florian tucked his hands into his pockets, eye landing on the bright circle of light behind her. “Soooo what is this?”

Shaking her head, Evelyn placed the Halo back onto its stand, and dragged Florian out of the room, ignoring his protests. “Let’s go, we’re late to meet up with the others.”

Richard threw the cloth into a new bucket, glaring at the two at the side drinking as they chatted. After half an hour’s of hard work, he had managed to clean up all the scribbles on the floor, and had even repaired the old bucket while he was at it.

The door of the room slammed open, and two people walked in, one dragging the other. “Ow ow ow Evelyn! I’m sorry!”

The three people watched as Evelyn pinched Florian’s ear, scolding, “Don’t do that ever again! What if you got caught! You weren’t supposed to be there anyways!”

Edgar and Alice made eye contact, before shaking their heads together. Richard walked over to Florian, hand brushing his hair, the other brushing over his cheek.

Florian stared up at him, eyes widened as a furious red spread across his face. Richard said nothing, his eyes darting around his face as if to memorize all the details, from the bandage covering half his face, hiding away the heavy feathers that had spread, to the scars at the side of his face, where he had plucked out the feathers that had grown, just to remain the look of a human.

Without warning, Florian felt soft lips against his own, nothing too weird, just a press of lips. It lasted for a second, and Florian stared up at Richard, who tilted his head, staring at him with half-liddled eyes.

“Wait- Wait wait wait!!” Florian yelled, turning his face away, hand held up against his mouth, to block the other chasing his lips.

Richard blinked up at him, eyes wide. “Did I misinterpreted something? I thought you liked me.”

Florian laughed awkwardly, then remembered he probably shouldn't do that to someone doubting himself. “No, I like you! But-”

“Okay.”

Richard cut off Florian’s words, before pressing his lips against the other again, harder and more insistent this time.

Florian backed away again, the blush on his face growing redder and redder. “Wait! What about them?” He pointed at the three standing next to each other, Alice and Edgar facing the wall to give a sense of privacy while Evelyn just stared at the two, absolutely flabbergasted.

Edgar peeked open one eye, waving a hand over his head. “No, no no, you guys go on! Don't mind us!” To Alice, he whispered, “I've been waiting for this day since the day they met.” Alice sniffed. “Me too.”

The two sobbed in unison from the amount of pining that they were forced to witness.

While the two lovebirds were making out in the middle, Evelyn snuck up to the pair, hands opening and closing as she tried to find for the correct words, before exclaiming,

“What the hell happened!? What did I miss???”

Notes:

Hahahaha!! I had this idea after watching the COA funny video, and also realllyyyy like RIFLORI, so this came out😭.

It's terribly written, with the strangest characterisation, but it's for fun, and that's all that is needed, self indulgence. There's a ridiculous amount of tags but idk man they all feel important

Also I was about to say something but forgot, so I'll edit this later when I remember again LOL.

(I swear I'm not procrastinating the next fic in Mafia AU...I'll get into it soon.. trust...)

Have a good day, don't forget to drink water, and take care of yourself?
