Hiii!!! This is my first ever fic and I'm using it to recover from my really bad AI addiction I had half a year ago. It is also going to be mostly self indulgent to help me deal with my own father.

Chapter 1: First few days

Chapter Text

Your dad had decided it would be a great idea to take you and your sister on a trip to Romania.

The second day that you were there, he took you two on a hike through the woods. Doing so had been a terrible idea, because now you were lost with no knowledge about the plant life here.

You all just wandered for a while, until some monster jumped out of the woods. It instantly went for you and you passed out.

You kind of wake up to see some kind of meeting with these weird people. The one on your far left looks to be some really tall lady. Further back you see a woman in all black who's holding a doll that looks to be moving on its own. On the other side in the back, there's a strange hunched over and distorted guy. And then closest to you on the right is a man with a huge hammer.

You don't get to see much of the conversation before passing out but the hammer guy and the tall woman seem to be arguing.

The next time you wake up, you're somewhere dark. It's finally not freezing cold here though, it's still just cold enough to be irritating. All you can think about is that your dad's probably gonna be mad at you for some reason.

You try to move and realize that you're restrained to the wall in a sitting up position. That's when you realize how grimey it is in here. You really hate it and don't like how it feels.

Your wounds haven't been patched up. You could bleed out. It's a terrifying thing that you notice. You don't really wanna call out for help because it might get someone mad at you or attract more danger but if nobody helps you could bleed out.

You end up just sitting there for a while, which is a bad idea. It's hours and you start feeling lightheaded before footsteps approach.

"You still alive in here?" A light turns on. It's that guy who had the hammer earlier. He looks at you and immediately grimaces at your injuries.

"Fuck, I should've patched these up earlier if I didn't want you dying..." He seems to be talking to himself but at least he wants you alive.

He crouches down and the restraint seems to unlock itself as he picks you up. You notice that he smells like blood and cigarettes.

He walks to a different room before setting you flat on the floor. You're too scared to do anything but lie there and so you just stay as still as possible. When he walks back over with disinfectant, bandages, and supplies to sew someone up, you realize what's happening.

It all burns but you try not to scream because that could irritate him. You just bite your tongue as tears fall from your eyes. He makes some joke about how low your pain tolerance is but you don't really hear it.

When it's finally over you just curl up on the ground and he coldly leaves you there, not really knowing what to do with you.

You cry for a while until you get so dehydrated that you force yourself to stop. You don't know how long it's been since you last ate or drank anything, you just know that it hurts. When you try to tell for help, your voice fails you, and he doesn't hear.

Eventually, just as you start to accept your fate, he walks through the room and you attempt to reach out. He stops for a second, eyes scanning your body as he tries to figure out why you're doing this.

"I... I need water..." You barely manage to say it but he seems to llll it and leaves to go get something for you.

He doesn't bring food but he does have a small metal cup of water floating next to him. You take it without wondering how he did that. Once you're done, your body immediately shuts down as you pass out, too tired to continue to do anything.

Heisenberg just stares down at you, thinking. He knows that he needs to keep you alive for Miranda for reasons unexplained, but he really does not want to take care of a little kid. This has already proven to be a lot, maybe he could get you to help around.

~-+--~--+--~--+-~

You wake up the next morning to that guy right in front of you. Your injuries still burn from yesterday and you're still hungry and thirsty but at least you're getting a little bit better. You zone off for a minute before he speaks.

"You're a handful to take care of, you know that?" He sounds intimidating to you but you don't know if that's how he wants to come off. "I- I'm sorry..." You're quiet and scared, but it doesn't affect him whatsoever. "I was gonna say that you're gonna start helping me out around this place to earn your keep." It doesn't sound that bad and you kinda want to live so you just nod and stand up. He grabs your arm and starts dragging you somewhere.

Eventually, he leaves you in a random room and tells you to clean it and where everything goes before going somewhere else. You kinda forget some things and leave them somewhere to deal with later.

About halfway in, you start feeling lightheaded again but you try to keep going. You haven't yet realized that you've been working at this for 5 hours straight. You eventually sit down for just a second and it gets worse. You can't see clearly anymore and your eyes are shaking like crazy.

You force yourself back up and it takes another 7 hours to finish. When you do, you just fall to the floor unmoving but awake. It hurts, everything does.

You faintly hear footsteps and a boot kicks you but you can't stand up. Arms just move underneath you as he effortlessly hauls you into his arms. Your eyes flicker to his face, but he doesn't look at you, being too focused on getting somewhere.

Eventually you two make it to what seems like a dining room and he sets you down in a chair. "You're gonna need to move if you wanna eat," he states. You try your best to sit up and barely do so. He sets a bowl of something in front of you and it takes all of your focus and energy to eat.

You don't understand why this is happening. All you know is that something is terribly wrong with your body. When he gives you water, you instantly take it, chugging the whole thing

You pass out on the table after eating.

~-+--~--+--~--+-~

You wake up near something warm. When you turn, you see that it's some kind of fire. Everything feels a lot better today and when you stand up, he gives you something to do again before leaving. You just need to find some place and check on everything there, it seems easy enough, and this place couldn't be that big of a maze.

It turns out that this place is fucking huge. The amount of danger here is also crazy. You, being only 13 years old, get so worn out and eventually take a break and sit. Your vision slightly swims from exhaustion. Silently, you curse this factory for not having any way to tell the time in it.

After a little, you get up and keep exploring until you find what you need to work on. It's an extremely messy room. It would take all day and you'd be able to go to bed at a normal time if you didn't take so long to get here. You immediately get to work, cleaning the room. The work is exhausting and being the weak child you are, very hard. You have to take many breaks to get it done.

As the sun sets on the horizon, Heisenberg goes to check in on you. He finds you sitting on the floor. Your legs hurt from being up and about all day. You haven't gotten enough exercise recently for this to be okay, because it's the middle of winter. He kicks you and you sit up immediately. You didn't notice him until now. You stand up as fast as possible, your upbringing telling you that if you don't immediately do what someone wants, then they'll get mad.

"I- I'm sorry... I didn't finish," you meekly sputter out.

"I don't care," he grabs you and drags you. You don't fight as he brings you to a room with a small cot in the corner, no windows, and no other furniture. You're told that it's your room and he drops you there before leaving. Heisenberg seems distant. He must be thinking about something important.

Notes:

New chapters will probably not come quickly as I am known to procrastinate a LOT. I'm also always busy sooo...
