Pink, purple.
Those two colours expanded itself across the room. In different shapes and colours.
Upon the bed in this room, sat the titular Angel Dust.
His lower set of arms were petting Fat Nuggets as they rested upon his lap. And in his hands, a Nintendo switch.
Valentino, for the same reason he gave Angel Fat Nuggets, gave Angel a switch. And the game bought in tandem with it; Tomodachi Life, living the dream.
Angel was in this rare little bubble of comfort. He found the game enjoyable. He got to breathe easy for once as he played it. But eventually, he had to get up and use the bathroom. Setting the switch down and moving Fat Nuggets off to the side. He made his way off the bed and out the room.
Then, Husk was walking down the hall to Angel’s room. Recently, Angel’s shoots at the studio have been getting longer than usual. He never showed it, but it made Husk concerned for Angel.
He noticed the door ajar, with music faintly playing from the room. He approached, and brought up his hand to knock upon the door.
“Angel?” He uttered.
But as he looked into the crack in the door, he noticed that the Spider wasn’t here. Just the gaming console, and Fat Nuggets laying on the bed.
Noticing him, the pig hopped off the bed and approached him, nuzzling up to his leg. He brought his hand down and pat them on the head. Then out of curiosity, he brought his attention to the object and the music emanating from it on the bed.
He glided across the room and looked down at the screen, laying his eyes upon a game he’s never seen before, picking the switch up to inspect.
The island Angel made was peppered with Mii’s. All of them based off of characters from shows Angel liked. (What those characters and shows are, is up for you to interpret.) Husk was about to put it down but there was one Mii that caught his eye.
The Mii had a grumpy expression, black hair, a nose that was an upside down triangle, and their eyebrows were red. Husk hovered the cursor over the Mii to reveal its name,
“Husk.”
“….Is that supposed to be me?” He thought to himself. His right eyebrow cocked up in confusion. Then, another Mii came. White spiked hair, no nose, tall…that Mii was supposed to be Angel.
The tiny Angel and Husk began to walk and talk. It all seemed normal, but then Husk was caught off guard. As the two Mii’s interacted, text below the two popped up saying “Looks like the two are in a date!”
Husk’s other eyebrow shot up in confusion when he noticed on the top left corner of the screen a little sign. It was Husk and Angel’s Mii’s. Between them were two little arrows that pointed to each other. Both of them brandishing the text “Super in love.”
Their Mii’s were…dating?
Due to Husk’s unfamiliarity with the game, some questions came to mind.
“Was this on purpose? Was it random? Just, why were they dating?”
These questions raced and danced in his head, as a faint blush crept upon his face. He set the switch down, and left the room. Not wanting to intrude anymore…or at least that’s what he said to himself.
He walked through the hotel’s halls, those same questions ever present. As his mind processed, his blush couldn’t help but worsen a little at the depiction of him dating Angel. He face palmed. A grown up man should never fall so easily, yet here he was. Flustered by one’s and Zeroes.
“Get it together,” he mumbled to himself as he continued to walk down to the bar.
Eventually, the real Angel came back to his room. He placed himself upon the bed, repositioning Fat Nuggets back onto his lap, and returned to playing, unaware of Husk’s snooping.
He watched his Mii with Husk’s mii, letting out a wistful sigh at the depiction of them dating.
He let the game linger on the two for a bit, a small smile broadening on his face due to how cute they looked. Eventually, he went on to tend to the other Mii’s in the game. Content, relaxed, and happy.
